How do we deal with ‘reality’ without going nuts?

On the last post, one of the commentators, Alizah, asked this:

Rivka, how do we read this without going nuts? Reminds me of something that says at the end the yetzer hara will appear like a mountain to some people and to others like something small.

If we follow your blog it’s enormous. We want to cry.

====

It’s a very good question.

On Shabbat, we were at friends for Friday night, and the conversation turned (as it inevitably does…) to the whole Corona stress we’re all under.

I couldn’t help it.

I tried to explain what’s really going on with all this – how it’s all just part of a deeper ‘depopulation / eugenics’ agenda that’s been in the works for over a century, already – and my host looked at me with a pitying smile.

I’d outed myself as that most lowly of creatures, a conspiracy theorist.

The argument raged on for around two hours, and I realised that the more hard facts and solid information I was throwing at the other people around the table, the more their defenses got entrenched, and the more pointless the whole discussion became.

====

At one point, my host turned to me and said:

Why do we need to know all this stuff? What can we do anyway? Why do you keep looking at all the ‘bad’? We can’t make any difference, and I don’t want to be kept up at night worrying about all this stuff.

The answer to that is really the answer to a lot of other big questions. Here’s what I told him:

====

Truth is God’s seal.

The more ‘truth’ we acknowledge and let in to our lives, the closer it brings us to God.

The more we see how broken this world really is, the more we will start to really yearn and beg for something to change. The more we will yearn and beg for geula, for Moshiach.

The more sincere teshuva we will make.

The more minutes and hours of heartfelt prayer we will engage in, asking God to fix things and to right everything that is so very wrong.

Knowing the truth gives us the motivation we need to really turn to Hashem, and come back to Him wholeheartedly.

====

I guess what I was really trying to tell my host is that I’m not buying into all the yeoush and despairing attitude that says we are nothing, and we can’t do anything to change all this, so why even bother trying to grapple with it?!

The Jewish soul is infinite.

It’s a part of Hashem.

Sure, me by myself I’m totally and utterly nothing and nobody.

I can’t take on the Rockefellers, or Bill Gates, or the corrupt State of Israel.

I know that.

But here’s what I can do:

I can go and pour out my heart to Hashem about all the ‘bad’ that’s going on in the world, and beg Him to fix it, and to fill the world with His light and the light of the true tzaddikim, and to get things to finally all turn around.

That’s all I can really do – but it’s everything.

====

If we believe in the power of prayer, if we believe in the power of the Jewish soul to stir Hashem’s mercy and compassion, if we believe in miracles, and that God is the only force that really exists in the world, then uncovering the ‘bad’ doesn’t scare us and overwhelm us and cause us to go into denial in quite the same way.

It might anger us, upset us, shock us – but it also motivates us to PRAY.

To turn to Hashem and to PRAY.

And that is the true strength and the true power of the Jewish soul, and it’s a power that every single one of us can access and activate.

====

When the Nazis were rising to power before World War II, so many people stuck their head in the sand and whistled.

God won’t let it happen, they said. I trust that God will continue to look after us, they said. I can’t do anything about this ‘bad’ stuff, so I’m just going to pretend it’s not happening, they said.

That was totally the wrong approach.

Rebbe Nachman spoke about the correct way to deal with harsh decrees:

He said:

“[E]ach person must say that the world was only created for his sake, and [the Rebbe said] how every person must endeavor to make up the deficiencies of the world, praying on its behalf – i.e. before the decree [actually materialises].

He also said the following:

“That year [1803] the Rebbe was very preoccupied with the Cantonist Decrees. He was extremely worried about the situation and said they were not an idle threat. He disagreed strongly with the people who were saying nothing would come of it in the end, for how could God do such a thing to the Jewish people?!

The Rebbe said several times that this was nonsense.

We find many occasions when harsh decrees did materialise.

The Rebbe spoke about this a great deal and said that the rumored decrees had to be taken with the utmost seriousness and not be treated lightly. We had to pray and cry out to God, and to be and beseech Him in the hope that He would hear us and annul them….

If only people had listened to his call to set the earth shaking with prayers and appeals to God, these decrees would have been nullified completely!”

(Tzaddik, Conversations Relating to His Lessons, page 132)

====

God forbid, I’m not uncovering this stuff to get anyone down, or add to the despair.

Quite the opposite.

I believe – so strongly! – in the power of prayer.

I believe in the power of a Jewish soul to turn everything around when they partner with Hashem and pray their hearts out.

This stuff scares you? It overwhelms you? It upsets you?

Go talk to God about it, and beg Him to clean up this mess!!!

When you do that, you change everything, literally.

The ‘weapon’ of Jacob is our prayer.

And I’m urging every single one of you to take a deep breath, and go pick it up.

I’m back, and 28% refreshed from a few days holiday in the North.

It was a nice trip, as these things go, but I’m still feeling pretty knackered today… It’s hard to keep our batteries recharged at the moment, isn’t it, with so many things continually wearing them down again.

Anyway, I’m working on a series of ‘deep dive’ exposes about what’s really going on here, and I hope to have something meaty for you to dig your teeth into next week.

In the meantime, I just saw this video over on the ravberland.com website, of Rav Shalom Arush encouraging everyone very strongly to still go to Uman for this Rosh Hashana, 5781:

====

https://ravberland.com/rav-arush-this-is-the-last-uman-rosh-hashana-before-moshiach/

====

In the Levy household, we’ve been having a serious debate about Rosh Hashana this year. My husband has gone every year for the last 14 years, and he put his name down to go with Netivot tours a few weeks ago, too.

But then, the stories came out that the Ukraine was limiting the number of visitors from Israel to 5,000. Then, some other site said 10,000.

Then, the Yeshiva World [Fake] News website started running one story after another quoting Israeli officials who were trying to pressure the Ukrainian government into banning any Jewish visitors to Rabbenu this year, because of the fake Covid plandemic.

Like this one:

====

I went to look up who Dr Asher Salmon actually is.

He’s an oncologist – a cancer specialist – and deputy director of Hadassah Hospital.

He also happens to be Israel’s ‘go to’ man for that tool of the bunch of eugenicists behind COVID-1984, the World Health Organisation.

====

Each time you see one of these ‘medical experts’ being quoted in the fake news MSM, spend a minute to go and look them up.

I guarantee you will find that they are either directly linked to the WHO, and / or they are heading up organisations and ‘non-profits’ that are being funded directly by big Pharma and / or eugenics-promoting organisations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome Trust, or the Rockefeller Institute.

(Many of them can also be directly linked to the Milken Institute, too, but that’s still harder to spot and a work in progress to bring those links more to the surface. But it’s coming. Believe me, it’s coming.)

====

So anyway, after we saw that video from Rav Arush, saying that this is the last Rosh Hashana before Moshiach, and promising massive spiritual benefits to anyone who makes it out there this year, I encouraged my husband to book ANOTHER ticket to Uman.

On a different date, a little earlier.

We are doing our bit.

====

Things are so changeable right now, who knows what the travel restrictions will actually look like, when we get there.

From what I can see from the headlines, ‘the evil plan’ is really NOT going to plan at all. Rav Berland sweetened it, exactly as he said he would, and now what’s going on is an increasingly desperate circus designed to keep the world’s population preoccupied while they try to get ‘the evil plan’ back on track.

Here in Israel, they have tried, and tried and tried so many times to reinstate a full lockdown, and for some bizarre reason, they just can’t do it.

More and more Israelis are waking up to the fact that COVID-1984 is a plandemic.

Fewer and fewer of us are buying the propaganda being churned out on sites like the Jpost and the Times of Israel and the Yeshiva World [Fake] News. And as we’re increasingly spotting the lies being told about COVID-1984, that is also translating into more and more people spotting the lies being told about everything else, too.

Like the Beirut Port bomb in Lebanon.

Like the ‘convenient’ nature of Hamas starting it’s fire balloons again now, for no other reason than to shore up Puppet Netanyahu and keep him in power long enough to deliver his end of ‘the evil plan’.

And all these planned and organised ‘spontaneous protests’, which are being jumped on by all the other corrupt MKs and ministers like Benny Gantz and Moshe Ya’alon, who are pretending to be serving the interests of the public, when really, they are just serving themselves and their masters in chul.

But we’re just not buying it anymore.

====

Let’s end this with some encouragement:

Go buy your ticket for Uman Rosh Hashana, and don’t be scared. Ladies, encourage your men to go even though it’s so very uncertain and stressful at the moment. Rabbenu is always our main line of defense, our key spiritual defender, for a good year.

And 5781 is shaping up to be the biggest year ever.

If the WHO is going to such great efforts to try to stop people from being in Uman for Rosh Hashana, that tells you how big, spiritually, it really is.

So go buy your ticket!!!

Because ‘the evil plan’ is on its last legs, and you definitely want a front row seat when all the spiritual light of geula starts to shine out into every corner of the world, from Uman this year.

Who thinks they are really on the level to argue with Rebbe Nachman?

That’s sometimes what I wonder to myself, when I hear all these ‘experts’ give forth their opinions about what’s really going on and why blah blah blah.

Here’s what Rebbe Nachman says, very plainly, in Lesson 1:123 of Likutey Moharan:

====

The root and fundamental point upon which all else is dependent is to bond oneself to the tzaddik of the generation, accepting his assessment of all things, whether minor or major; not diverging from anything he says, whether to the right or to the left.

As our Sages said: “Even if he tells you that the right is the left” (Sifri, Deuteronomy 17:11), and casting aside all of one’s own wisdom, putting aside one’s own ideas as if one had no understanding at all, besides that which one receives from the tzaddik and teacher of the generation.

And as long as one maintains some of one’s own understanding, one has not yet reached the ideal, and is not considered ‘bound’ to the tzaddik.

==

When the Israelites received the Torah, they were in possession of great wisdoms, for the contemporary idolatry of that time was based upon mistaken but great wisdoms and philosophies, as known.

Had the Israelites not cast aside their wisdoms, they would not have accepted the Torah, for they would have been able to refute it all, and nothing that Moses did for them would have been of any avail.

Even all the signs and awesome wonders that he did before their eyes would have been of no avail. Even today, there are heretics who foolishly and mistakenly deny, on account of their ‘wisdoms’.

==

But the holy people of Israel saw the truth and cast aside their wisdoms, believing in God and in his servant Moses, and on account of this they accepted the Torah…

….[T]he essential service of God is simplicity, uprightness, fear of God and abstention from evil, without sophisticated wisdom.

==

There is no getting out of Egypt without Moshe Rabbenu.

And in our days, there is no getting out of all the trouble, evil and strife the whole world is currently facing, without an attachment with the ‘tzaddik of the generation’.

If you don’t know who that ‘tzaddik of the generation’ might be, still, pray on it sincerely, and I guarantee God will open your eyes.

There is no other way of getting to the truth.

And this is also part of the birur, or clarification process, we all need to go through at the moment. If we can’t or won’t pray, even a little bit, we have pretty much zero chance of figuring out some pretty important things.

Why?

Because we just can’t do it by ourselves.

====

Our heads are too stuffed full of foreign ‘wisdoms’ and confused thinking, and our own egos, and all the propaganda being served up by the media (and their flunkeys across the social media networks) to have the first clue of what’s really ‘true’ and what isn’t.

Remember what we just learnt from Rabbenu:

[T]he holy people of Israel saw the truth and cast aside their wisdoms, believing in God and in his servant Moses, and on account of this they accepted the Torah…

There is no getting out of Egypt with Moshe.

There is no accepting the Torah without the Tzaddik of the Generation.

And there is no ‘seeing the truth’ until and unless we cast our own ‘wisdom’ aside.

I checked out the source for this firsthand, and it’s legit.

Here is the full message in full, copied verbatim from the Ravberland.com website:

====

There is a hidden tzaddik, a Tzaddik Nistar, who is in touch with people associated with the Shuvu Banim yeshiva once or twice a year, when he gives over a message.

A few days ago, this hidden Tzaddik – who has taken it upon himself to live in a cave somewhere in the desert for almost 20 years – got back in touch with Rabbi Avraham Baruch, to pass on another one of the messages.

The messages are coming from a ‘revelation of Eliyahu HaNavi’, i.e. a message from Heaven, and they usually take the form of some sort of warning, or instruction, about what Heaven wants from the Jewish nation, at this period of time. Usually, the Tzaddik Nistar passes these messages along in the form or a short note.

We are pleased to bring a translation of the Tzaddik Nistar’s most recent note, as it was received by Rabbi Avraham Baruch.

====

You can hear Rabbi Baruch giving the message over in the original Hebrew in the clip below:

====

Am Yisrael is currently in the most fragile of situations.

We need to strengthen ourselves a great deal, before the test of emuna that stands before us, and it’s assur (forbidden) to despair at all – at all!

“As much as the reshaim (evildoers) are preparing very strongly for the kochav (star / comet), the kochav stands ready to pass close by to us, and Moshiach Tzidkaynu is connected to this kochav. He is going to fight all the wards of Israel with this kochav.

“IN ANY CASE, THIS KOCHAV IS GOING TO DEAL THEM A STRONG BLOW.

====

“Moshiach is already here.

Moshiach is to be found in Israel. Ask the tzaddikim hagadolim (the biggest tzaddikim), who are saying that the Moshiach is to be found in the North, and he’s flesh and blood, [it’s] a moment before pulling the trigger, before he is revealed to Am Yisrael.

“The Moshiach can be revealed the merciful way if Am Yisrael will come together in achdut (unity).

Then he will fight the wars of Israel (i.e. the Jewish people) and all the birth pangs will be sweetened, and will pass over to the haters of Israel [instead of on the Jewish people].

“The virus will be nullified, and the Gan Eden of Adam HaRishon will descend.”

====

“Moshiach is already here.

“But the test of emuna that stands before us is a big one.

“This is an important message for all of the rabbanim (rabbis), the Admors, and the others who are engaged in outreach in Israel (i.e. amongst the Jewish people):

“In this difficult time, we should know that we can’t retreat; rather, we need to work with all of our strength to wake Hashem’s people up, to make teshuva from love, for Hashem Yitbarach, and by this, we will merit to have the geula with rachamim (mercy).

“Because from the many sins we do, without paying attention to them, we have already descended into the slavery of the last galut (exile) of Amalek, and the difficulty is unbearable.

====

AT THE END OF THIS GALUT, THIS EVIL MALCHUT (LITERALLY: ROYALTY, FIGURATIVELY: GOVERNMENT) WILL SPREAD IN ISRAEL, AND IN THE WHOLE WORLD FOR THE DURATION OF NINE MONTHS.

May we be saved from it, and and may we be redeemed speedily in our days, amen.

Pay attention, that this is beginning with one lockdown, and then another lockdown… Until all of us will be in an absolute lockdown. Don’t say that we didn’t tell you.

Today, it’s still possible to stop this.

Pharoah also started [to enslave] Am Yisrael with soft words.

If we do teshuva, but not completely, meaning with full, heart-felt intention, we will need to complete the relative portion with suffering, the very difficult ‘birthpangs of the Moshiach’, rachmana litzan (Hashem should have mercy).

Therefore, everyone should come, like one man, with one heart, let’s pray together, let’s do teshuva from love, and let’s merit to have geula b’rachamim (redemption with mercy), TODAY! If we will only listen to his voice.

But it’s 100%, that we will not return to the ‘routine’ again.

We are in the final process of geula, Am Yisrael, and how it’s going to come – either with din (harsh judgment) or rachamim (mercy) depends on us.”

====

Thus ends the message from the Tzaddik Nistar, that was passed along via Rabbi Avraham Baruch.

This seems like a fitting place to include the recent words of the kabbalist Rav Sheinfeld, shlita, who said:

“We have received this from the tzaddikim, that we are in the process of the birth pangs of Moshiach, in the last stage. We are in the last nine months of the birth pangs of Moshiach.”

====

And here’s an update on the earthquakes, thanks to Dutchsinse:

====

What’s particularly interesting about this is that the whole world is currently ‘moving’ with energy that’s coming in on a 5.2 basis.

That number – 52 – is very interesting.

I wrote a whole post about it, and it’s connection to the geula process for the ravberland.com website, here:

https://ravberland.com/the-secret-of-52/

Here’s a snippet from that post, but please do go and read the whole thing, as it’s kind of mind-boggling:

52 equates to BaN, one of the names of Hashem, that is also linked to the element of DUST, and to INERT MATTER, and this lowly world, the world of Asiyah.

BaN represents the side of evil, which was created when the original spiritual ‘vessels’ that Hashem created the world with shattered because of too much light. That resulted in 288 sparks of holiness becoming lost throughout creation and captured by the side of evil.

When the last of these 288 sparks of holiness is rectified and raised back up to their rightful spiritual place by the Jewish people, we’ll get geula and Moshiach.

Now, Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan equates the side of evil to the “Kings of Edom”.

Hashem’s attribute of Strict Justice also equates to BaN – 52, and that’s how God wanted to create the world, initially. But the world couldn’t continue like that, so Hashem added in MaH – which equates to WATER, mercy.

====

After I wrote that post, a very insightful reader made the connection between 52 – BaN – and this prayer from Rav Berland, talking about getting out of debt.

In our post-Corona world, where almost everyone you speak to know is looking for loans and debts just to put food on the table, this prayer – and its connection to ’52’ – is even more mind-blowing:

===

Rabbi Berland’s Prayer To Get Out of Debt

Master of the Universe, Omniscient One,… allow me to merit the four aspects of Har Tavor whose length is four parsa. Know that I am worse off than all of the tzadikkim, and worse off than all of the middle men, and worse off than all of the evil ones, and worse off than even my own worth and also to get out of the neckhold that is three parsa and to not be haughty – not with my wisdom nor with my strength, nor by my wealth.

And by this shall I merit to get out of all my debt and shall I merit an abundance of food and drink and clothing by means of me meriting the ten attributes of MAH (Mem Heh), which is abundance in gematria = 450.

Please, Hashem, take the Samech Mem out of me as it is cloaking my eyes, since an eye in gematria is Samech Mem Ayin + 1= Samech Mem = 131.

Please, All Merciful and Compassionate One, allow me to merit all the attributes of MAH (Mem Heh), and especially what is behind MAH (Mem He) which in gematria is Ayin since behind MAH (Mem Heh)

There is:      Yod 20

                   Yod Keh 26

                   Yud Keh Vav 39

                   Yud Keh Vav Keh 45

                   130 in the gematria of Ayin

And only by means of me meriting the light of the new MAH (Mem Heh) will I merit to get out of all aspects pertaining to defects of the eye and then shall I merit to get out of all debts since only the light of the new MAH (Mem Heh) that emanates from Adam Kadmon can subjugate the breaking of the vessels of the name of BAN(Bet Nun) that emanates from the eyes where the entire secret of the breaking stems from, and it is from there all the debts (emanate).

And by unifying the name of BAN (Bet Nun)Yud Keh Vav Keh = 52 with the name of the new MAH (Mem Heh) will we leave this awful breakage that has lasted already for five-thousand seven hundred and 79 years and then shall we merit to get out of all the debts that we are all buried in and by this shall I merit teshuva coming from love and to always have my travails intertwined with the travails of the Shechina.

And by this merit a double portion of livelihood as is it is written, “And there was enough of my treasure and money for you,” for all who involve Shem Shamayim with their travails, their livelihood is doubled and it flies forth like a bird.

PLEASE, ALL MERCIFUL AND COMPASSIONATE ONE, WHO IS OMNISCIENT, QUICKLY TAKE ME OUT OF ALL OF MY TERRIBLE DEBT THAT I AM SUNK IN AND HAVE ME MERIT TO PAY THEM OFF TO THE END.

And with this shall I merit to have the privilege of having the influence for providing a livelihood for all of Am Yisrael and may it be established for me the verse of which it is written by Yosef Hatzadik, “He is the provider for all peoples of the land.”

And lastly, things are starting to move against the Wexner Foundation in Israel – very slowly still, but hey, it’s still progress:

Prime Minister’s Office freezes employees’ participation in Wexner Foundation-type programs

TBC, hopefully very soon.

Rabbenu famously taught that even ‘stupid words’ – mila de’shtuta – have a spiritual value.

It’s slow posting on the blog at the moment, for a few different reasons. I’m collecting the material for OIAG3, and that is taking a lot of time (and also, getting a lot of things to start moving, behind the scenes….).

And I’m also trying to make the most of every moment before the Three Weeks begins, to get out of the house and visit kivrei Tzaddikim, and to do a bunch of things that have been on my list for a long time, before the authorities use the fake Corona ‘second wave’ to try to close it all down again.

And lastly, I have so very much to write, so very much to share, that I kind of don’t know where to start.

====

We’re all totally in limbo at the moment.

Stuck between what was, and what will be.

And that’s a very hard place to be in, mentally. Human beings do so much better, mentally, when they have some form of certainty – even when it’s ‘bad’ – than when they have no idea what’s coming next, and how to try to prepare themselves mentally for it.

So, that’s why we’re all stressed and atzbani at the moment – frustrated, upset, angry, lacking patience.

It’s totally normal and natural to be feeling this way right now, so let’s all keep giving ourselves – and others – a break.

That still means we apologise when we act like a nob to other people, and that we take responsibility for our actions, but in a laid-back way that doesn’t dramatise stuff, over over-hype things.

No big deal. Really.

Even if it really is the end of the world.

====

A really helpful part of this coping strategy is what Rabbenu calls ‘stupid words’, or mila de-shtuta.

The Na-Nach guys are really good at mila de-shtuta. They’ve taken this part of Rabbenu’s Torah, and raised it to an art-form, as you can you can see a little in the clip below:

====

Here’s what Rabbenu says in Likutey Moharan 2:24:

Mitzvah gadoleh l’hiot b’simcha – it’s a great mitzvah, to be happy at all times, and to invest all of our effort into banishing sadness and depression. All illnesses that befall a person are solely caused by a lack of joy…..

….And though a broken heart is very precious, this should be contained to a specific time. One should set aside a specific time everyday to break one’s heart and express oneself before God, as brought elsewhere. But one should be joyous for the rest of the day. One can more easily fall into depression from a broken heart, than one came become frivolous on account of happiness, for the distance between a broken heart and depression is less.

Therefore, one must be happy at all times, except for the specific time at which one should have a broken heart.

====

So, in our hitbodedut, that’s the time to feel all the pain around the Coronavirus scam, all the corruption in Israel and elsewhere, all the evil billionaires, all the blind sheeple, the fact that the Rav is still in prison…

And to even cry about all these things.

But then, the other 23 hours a day, we have to brush ourselves off, and make EVERY EFFORT to pull ourselves out of feeling broken-hearted about the state of the world.

That’s where dancing and clapping come in.

I challenge you to spend even a minute dancing to this, below, and you’ll see how it instantly lifts your mood:

====

The spiritual reason for this is that dancing and clapping ameliorates the harsh spiritual judgments at their root, as he explains in Lesson 1:169 of Likutey Moharan:

When there are troubles, whether collectively or personally, it is impossible to dance….

…[A]meliorating judgments is accomplished by a person judging himself. In other words, we must judge and assess ourselves, by ourselves, about everything that we do – for everythingwhether it was appropriate to act like that. We must analyze our actions and improve them appropriately, in line with the law and judgment of the Torah.

By judging and assessing oneself, one ameliorates and nullifies judgment Above, for, “When there is judgment below, there is no judgment Above. And when judgment is ameliorated, the blood leaves the feet, and joy can then spread through them, moving a person to dance.

In other words, the dancing is a type of spiritual short-cut, that ameliorates judgments Above.

And when we can’t dance – or don’t dance – it’s because we are weighed down by spiritual judgments.

====

And then, there’s the mila de-shtuta stuff, too.

Rabbenu talks about that in Lesson 2:48 – which is really a beautiful lesson, about not despairing about what’s going on, and not giving up on ourselves, and just continuing to strengthen ourselves again, and again and again, and to not believe that God is rejecting us, and our prayers and our service.

BH, if I have time I will try to copy it out in full below, as an update to this post.

But in the meantime, here’s the nugget that’s most relevant to now:

[L]ive with the lesson in Likutey Moharan 1:282 [aka AZAMRA!], which is to search and seek and find within ourselves some merit, some good point. And with this good point that we find within ourselves, to rejoice and encourage ourselves. We should not give up on what we’ve already attained [spiritually], even if we’ve fallen away from it to wherever we have fallen.

Even so, we should encourage ourselves with the little bit of good that we still find within ourselves, until in this way, we merit to return completely to God, so that all the intentional sins will be transformed to merits (Yoma 86b).

From what the Baal Shem Tov did at sea, when the Evil Inclination tried to confuse him, we can understand how much we must encourage ourselves not to despair of ourselves, no matter what happens to us.

The most important thing is to be happy at all times, making ourselves happy in any way possible, even by means of foolishness, acting like a fool and doing foolish and merry-making things. Or simply jumping and dancing in order to reach joy, which is a very great thing.

====

Ad kan, Rabbenu.

I know it’s hard at the moment. I know it’s tough. I’m feeling the strain myself too, believe me. That’s why I keep running off to Kivrei Tzaddikim every day or two, and trying to make an effort to dance for at least 5 minutes most days (but especially when I’m starting to feel down), and also, why I’m giving myself permission to watch videos like this, below (shmirat eynayim friendly).

====

====

Whatever is going to keep my ‘happy’ and functioning, that’s what I’m going to do right now.

Until the evil starts to fall all by itself.

And trust me, dear reader. That point is so much closer than it currently looks.

We just need to hold on a tiny bit longer.

The new book by Rav Berland is out.

I got the steer to get on with it from my visit to Hevron, and now you can buy it in paperback, BH.

But I can’t.

As Amazon is still not delivering to Israel, or at least, they aren’t delivering this book to Israel. I’m working on getting the ebook together, but we all know that it’s not the same, spiritually, as getting a hard copy out there.

So again, if you want the privilege of being the first person to officially print the book in the world, go HERE and order a copy.

====

Ah.

I’ve been pretty irritable this week. I guess that’s inevitable. All this uncertainty, all this backwards and forwards between what was, and what is, and what will be.

God is actually being so kind to us, He’s dismantling the gashmius, and the world of lies, in such a gentle fashion, relatively. If you go HERE, you’ll find a point-by-point summary, in English, of the Gemara Sanhedrin 97a, which paints a clear picture of what will be, before Moshiach finally shows up. Here’s some of the key points:

====

Truth will go away like Adarim (flocks; Maharsha – people of truth will have to hide).

==

Anyone who avoids evil will be considered foolish.

==

Ben David will come in a generation in which youths shame elders, and elders stand in front of youths. A daughter reviles and shames her mother, a daughter-in-law shames her mother-in-law, people’s faces resemble that of dogs, and a son feels no shame in front of his father.

==

Ben David will come in a generation of great brazenness. People will not honor each other (alternatively – even the most honorable people are crooked), even though many grapes grow, wine is expensive (because grapes do not yield much wine; alternatively, because everyone drinks a lot), the entire kingdom will be Minim, and there is no rebuke. (Ed. note: minim means ‘informers’, specifically people that snitch on other people to the government….)

==

Ben David will not come until there are many informers. Alternatively, he will not come until Talmidim diminish, or until people lack money, or until they despair of redemption.

====

Let’s take a look at that last one in more detail, shall we?

  1. Moshiach won’t come until ‘there are many informers’ – i.e. people and apps and security services snitching on every single person in the world, all using ‘coronavirus’ as the excuse – CHECK
  2. He won’t come ‘until Talmidim diminish’ – whether that’s kids in schools, or Torah scholars, we can also tick this box. I was just saying to my husband, how very hard it feels at the moment, to even give over some Torah at the Shabbat table. Just feels like wading through treacle, or trying to pull a bunch of wool through a thorn bush. I can’t concentrate so much at the moment, and I usually love sharing Torah, especially awesome Torah from Rabbenu or Rav Berland. But at the moment, I just can’t focus enough to really ‘learn’ anything much. And I know I’m not the only one. – CHECK
  3. He won’t come ‘until people lack money’. I have a feeling this is being sweetened, at least partially. Sure, there are a lot of people who have just been instantly tipped into terrible poverty – as was always the plan – because of the lockdowns. And for those poor people, the heart truly bleeds. I got an email from someone in Latin America who is seeing her friends’ small kids lacking even basic foodstuff, even basic things like milk. That’s hard. It’s really hard.

And then, on a totally different level, there’s the fact that cash is currently being phased out all over the place. You can’t buy a ticket to the Jerusalem Zoo with cash anymore, only card. Ditto the buses. When I go to the supermarket, I often get into disagreements with the cashiers who apparently lack the ‘cash’ in their tills to even give me 10 shekels change for a 100 shekel note.

New World Order, World Economic Forum, ‘Great Reset’, ID2020 – or maybe just God’s way of sweetening what was stated here in the Gemara, we’ll see.

====

4. Moshiach won’t come until people despair of redemption.

We’re there, aren’t we? If not personally, than politically, and nationally and globally.

Yeoush is beating hard on most people’s doors right now, and without the power of the Tzaddikim, it’s very hard to stand up in the test.

It’s very hard not to just drown in bitterness, or to ‘disappear’ into never-ending business to keep the anxiety at bay, or to switch off and go into denial about it all.

Very hard indeed.

I was speaking to a relative in the UK yesterday who owns a big business. While they are still doing OK, in terms of revenues, they are probably still heading into administration because of the COVID-19 lockdown, because – like every other service industry business – they realised they don’t need their super-expensive office space anymore.

And so has everyone else.

Which means they can’t get rid of their super-expensive lease, and they can’t get someone else to take it off their hands, and with the economic downturn, the lease by itself is enough to push the business into declaring bankruptcy. She’s barely been out of her house for four months, and she told me that she reckons half the shops will be boarded up anyway, by the time she finally goes shopping again.

There’s no point doing anything, we’re all just in limbo. Who knows if they are going to lock us down again, if there’s a ‘second wave’. It just feels that it’s totally pointless, to try to plan or do anything.

That’s what she told me.

And that’s kind of what most of us are feeling right now:

Apathy. Frustration. Anger. Claustrophobia. Fear. YEOUSH.

====

One of my kids’ friends wanted to know why there is all this frozen fruit for smoothies in the freezer, that just isn’t getting used. When I explained that I’m finding it hard to cook because I’m having a mid-life crisis, he told me: Yeah, my mum is too.

I think we all are, in one way or another.

How could we not be, after everything we’ve gone through the last few months, and as the uncertainty continues and the ‘world of lies’ carries on shattering before our very eyes.

====

So, here’s my two cents on what God is probably expecting from us, at this really FRUSTRATING, UNCERTAIN AND ANXIETY-INDUCING stage of the geula process:

  1. Avoid all hakpada against other people – hakpada is harsh judgment, holding grudges, thinking the worst about other people, and concentrating on it. Rav Berland recently said this:

IT’S ASSUR (FORBIDDEN) FOR A PERSON TO L’HAKPID (JUDGE HARSHLY) ANY OTHER JEW, EVEN IF HE DOING ALL THE EVIL THINGS.

You know why?

Because we’re just judging ourselves, when we’re judging other people. Whatever we see them doing that annoys us, it’s really just a mirror. So whatever judgment we’re passing on those other people, we’re really just passing it on ourselves.

Isn’t that a scary thought?

====

2. Try to dance for at least 10 minutes, every single day. This is still my ‘go to’ advice for getting out of yeoush, especially if you can’t just head out and visit the kever of a tzaddik, or spend 6 hours doing hitbodedut.

3. Buy a copy of Rabbi Berland’s Advice for Success and Happiness – and read it.

I started translating that book in the first place, because it was helping me so much to get out of my yeoush and despair every time I was cracking it open.

This is not a simple period of time we are heading in to, anything but.

We need as much help as we can get to weather the emotional storms still up ahead, and connecting to the true Tzaddikim, via their books and advice, is one of the single biggest things we can do to come through all this in one piece.

When we connect to the tzaddikim, and follow their advice, we are replacing our ‘bad’ thoughts and stupid ideas with their clarity and wisdom. And then, we can stop acting like an out-of-control retard.

Eventually.

UPDATE:

This article has absolutely nothing to do with this post, except to show how totally bizarre the world has become – permanent Purim, in fact – and how totally UNcredible practically every single source of ‘news’ now is. I clicked on this by mistake, when I was typing in a different website address, and here’s what came up.

Unbelievable, that this is what passes as ‘news’ today.

Take a look for yourself:

I know it’s bad to look at Facebook.

I know, believe me I know. That’s why I have a fake account that lets me just dip in and out when I need to go and look up things for research purposes.

So yesterday, I was doing some research that took me to a Facebook page, and then I noticed a picture of a young woman with striking red hair and a sad face under all her makeup – Shiran – and something compelled me to look at it.

Man, I got so sad, so fast.

====

As I scrolled through all her selfies from the last five years, I saw how a beautiful, religious, ‘edgy’ girl went totally off the rails.

It started in small ways. The skirt was still black, but way too tight. Then it got shorter. Then the tops started revealing more and more cleavage.

Then, some big ‘break’ happened, and the hair got dyed a vampy red.

Then the makeup went up a level, with kohl-ed eyes and dark red lipstick to match.

And the clothes continued to disappear.

And then the first tattoo showed up – something ‘subtle’, just a signature on one wrist.

And now, five years later, she’s totally covered in tattoos up and down all her limbs, and a few other places, too.

I know this, because the last ‘selfies’ posted up were artistically-shot pictures of Shiran running through some grass with her tattoo-ed butt cheeks hanging out of her cut off shorts. P*rnography, pretty much, but so artfullll….

====

What can I tell you?

My heart broke.

The last few months, I’ve been getting to know quite a few of these ‘souls of tohu’, these big souls that can’t really fit into the world as it’s currently configured, and so they want to destroy, and tear it down to its foundations.

At their root, these kids, these teens, these young people are really only good.

They want that ideal version of planet earth so badly, it literally pains them to have our current flawed version. So they lash out, and they try to do anything they can to minimize the pain of simply being alive in our current, difficult reality.

And the first person they lash out at is themselves.

What are tattoos, after all, except bruises of the soul, publically displayed for all to see?

====

Honestly?

I’m still heartbroken about all this. There are so many kids like this, who are growing up in homes – frum or not – and falling straight to the bottom of the world. And everything is being documented with selfies on Facebook and Instagram.

I can’t help but wonder, if there was no Facebook page to post all this amateur p*rn up on, and no Smartphone to take pictures of the ‘latest’ self-mutilating tattoo, and no fake Facebook friends to egg-on all this self-destructive behavior with little red hearts and ‘thumbs up’ emojis, would it still be happening?

Would Shiran have transformed so violently, from an off-the-derech girl to a tattoo-d vamp-call-girl-wannabe?

====

I find that question so painful.

This world is so hard.

So please, go and give you teens a big hug right now.

Tell them how good they are. Tell them how much you love them – even if they’ve already slipped, even if they’ve fallen. There is always a way back, there is always a stairway up and out of the muck – I learnt that from Rabbenu, and from Rav Berland.

But the first step is our love for our kids.

Turn that love on, whack it up to full volume and let it shine a path for your kid to return to their true selves, return to their souls, and return to God.

He wants everyone back.

Even Shiran.

====

As I was writing this, one of my kids told me she wanted to show me an ‘amazing’ video.

It’s called neshamot shel tohu – souls of chaos – and it depicts a little of what I’m writing about in this post. These lost young people, running through the streets of Jerusalem, smoking, drinking, hanging out in Mahane Yehuda. Acting out, because the world is just so painful to them. They are mamash the biggest neshamas.

The chorus says:

Neshamot shel tohu

Machapsot ca’av

Bishvil l’argish mashu

English:

Souls of chaos, looking for ‘pain’, just so they can feel something.

What can I say?

I started crying again.

====

====

UPDATE:

Here’s an English translation of the lyrics:

Souls of ‘chaos’

Looking for ‘pain’

Just in order to feel something

Only so they can feel something

==

I got used to this now

Prisoner of the cycle

Scared to come close

‘Diseased’ and frightened

Knots and more knots in the heart

I want [to come closer] but don’t know how

==

A scared boy

Angry at the world

He runs away to each place

And doesn’t understand where he’s even going

To love from close up, it’s still not possible

There is a ‘ruach sayera’ (storm wind)

==

Shards of light from those days

Broken vessels are wandering around

Thirsty, angry

Broken-hearted because of other people

The smallness of ‘skin’

The separation between light and light

The heart is so very sensitive

It’s hard to endure the world

==

So if you are wandering around

With a hungry heart

Know something:

The buried treasure is within your own deepness

Rabbi Yissachar Berg’s Geula Webinar

If you click the link, you’ll find a list of the all the latest webinars, over on the ravberland.com website.

They are highly recommended for a lot of reasons, not least that they are firmly grounded in Torah sources and emunat tzaddikim.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Yissachar on a lot of projects for the Rav, and he’s a very special person.

(I hope he won’t read this, he’ll probably get embarassed.)

Anyway, if you’re experiencing a ‘geula gap’ as all the fakers start to implode out there, this is a great way of filling it with something holy, enlightening and uplifting.

Enjoy!

PS: The second ADVICE book somehow got finished yesterday, and it’s in the works now, bezrat Hashem to come out some time next week.

And yesterday, I also pulled together all the raw information from April 2019 to now, to start combing through it for volume 3 of One in a Generation. It’s around 300,000 words worth… my goodness, it’s been a hectic few months.

But I have a feeling that when that book gets published, things will be taking off even more spectacularly, on the geula front.

This is how to get out of the gathering darkness.

Yesterday, I went up North again with my husband, for a break.

In keeping with the carpe diem idea that all we have is the next 24 hours – which is basically how a Jew is supposed to live their life, in any case, without taking a single second for granted – I have been out every day this week.

Sunday, I sat on a beach in Caesarea (fully clothed…) gathering beautiful pebbles.

Monday, I went down to the Baba Sali, and learned a very important lesson in avoiding harsh judgement of other Jews and hakpada.

Tuesday, I took my teenage girls to the separate beach in Rishon LeTzion, and had a blast jumping the waves for a couple of hours.

Then yesterday, I schlepped my husband to a gorgeous, almost deserted natural pool that’s part of the Lower Amud Stream.

====

When we got there, there were just two other frum men there – Americans – who left after half an hour, so we had the place to ourselves. We sat on a rock in the pool, debating whether the fat tadpoles underfoot where frogs or fish and discussing some of the latest Torah from Rav Berland.

After being locked down for almost three months, I have been encouraging my family to get out of the house as much as possible, and to not put off doing anything that’s important, like booking driving tests, or buying things that have been on the ‘to get’ list for a very long time.

All we have is today. Right now.

====

The toilets are going uncleaned, the sinks are unwashed, my house is half a tip – but who cares? There will be plenty of time to get everything back in order next time we are locked down again¸ which the Israeli government is patently angling to do.

Even though more and more people are waking up to the fact that we were misled over how dangerous COVID-19 actually is, and we’re still being misled over the ridiculous ‘rules’ for apparently ‘containing’ COVID-19, as continually stated by Israel’s PM:

====

====

Again, THERE IS NO SCIENTIFIC BASIS for the rules on forcing healthy people to wear face masks 24/7, or for the ‘social distancing’ rule, which takes the biscuit for pseudo-scientific claptrap with absolutely no basis in reality.

And then, there’s the ominous insistence on ‘good hygiene’.

Why ominous? Because a lot of people don’t know this, but the Nazis – and the other eugenecists that held the same views as they did, in terms of getting rid of ‘degenerate’ human beings to ‘improve’ the human ‘species – were obsessed with ‘good hygiene’.

They called their eugenics theories by the euphemistic term ‘racial hygiene’ – and it led directly to the crematoria of Auschwitz.

====

====

I have a book called ‘From Darwin to Hitler: Evolutionary Ethics, Eugenics and Racism in Germany’, which BH I will try to summarise soon in a future post. But in the meantime, this screenshot, above, from the Holocaust Encyclopedia tells a thousand words.

Deadly Medicine > Science as Salvation > The Biological State > Final Solutions > Murderous Racial Hygiene Programs

From 1933 to 1945, Nazi Germany carried out a campaign to “cleanse” German society of people viewed as biological threats to the nation’s “health.” Enlisting the help of physicians and medically trained geneticists, psychiatrists, and anthropologists, the Nazis developed racial health policies that started with the mass sterilization of “hereditarily diseased” persons and ended with the near annihilation of European Jewry.

====

How willfully blind would a person have to be, to not see the obvious parallels with what is occurring right now?

I know, it’s hard to believe the brains and the technology and the evil ‘ethics’ behind the Third Reich got transplanted into the heart of Western society via the secret service agencies, but that’s the truth.

And that ideology has been ‘evolving’ into what we see playing out today for over 70 years.

COVID-19 is straight out of the Nazi playbook. And the clues to the global eugenics agenda that is really behind it are literally all over the place – for anyone with eyes to see.

====

But that’s not what I want to really focus on today.

When we’re staggering around in this tremendous darkness, where it just seems to be getting heavier and heavier each moment, at least in some parts of the world, we need to focus our energy on finding the ‘light’ that is going to get us out of the problem.

And that light is the true Tzaddikim, and in particular, it’s Rebbe Nachman’s Torah, and Rabbi Eliezer Berland’s teachings and prayers.

====

Yesterday after the pool, we decided to detour to Tzalmon, to drive as close as we could get to the prison where Rav Berland is currently being held by the anti-Torah government which also has a long history of practicing ‘eugenics’ on its native population.

The Yemenite Children scandal – where the Israeli government sold kidnapped Yemenite children to the Nazis running the awful ‘MKULTRA’ programs, to be experimented on and tortured to death, is just one example.

My best guess is that Peres arranged that deal in order to get the nuke for Israel. In his twisted mind, that was probably an ‘ethical arrangement’…

But there have been many other abuses committed in the name of ‘Jewish eugenics’, most of which haven’t been properly documented.

Like the program to irradiate the heads of 100,000 Moroccan immigrant children with x-rays many hundreds of times in excess of the known safe levels, as part of another secret deal the Israeli government cut with the US army / Nazi-infested CIA / NSA.

You can learn more about that in this clip, below, that has English subtitles:

====

The early Zionists were obsessed with creating the ‘perfect Jew’, the ‘ideal Israeli’ – the parallels between this and what the Nazis were trying to do with their own Master Race eugenics program are sadly so obvious. The following quote comes from THIS article:

It’s hard to imagine now, but in 1944, six years after Kristallnacht, Lessing J. Rosenwald, president of the American Council for Judaism, felt comfortable equating the Zionist ideal of Jewish statehood with “the concept of a racial state — the Hitlerian concept.”

And they never gave up trying to implement it, behind the scenes.

What’s happening with the persecution of Rabbi Berland and the Torah world in Israel generally has to be understood in its proper ‘Jewish eugenics’ context. Once we take the blinders off, it’s obvious that the language being used by so many of the people in power in Israel is clearly reminiscent of the eugenicists who came up with the holocaust as their ‘final solution’.

====

Here’s a couple of quotes from the ‘From Darwin to Hitler’ book, and then let’s move on from the darkness, to the light:

“Many [eugenics-promoting German scientists] used Darwinian arguments to assign some humans to the category of ‘inferior’ or degenerate. Generally, they considered two main categories of people ‘inferior’: the handicapped and non-European races.

Since they were ‘inferior’, and since the death of the less fit in the struggle for existence will result in biological improvement, why not help evolution along by getting rid of the ‘inferior’?”….

“Rather than allowing such people to drain the precious, limited resources of the earth, [the eugenicist-promoting scientists believed] it would be better to kill them to make space for the healthy, vigorous and intelligent to flourish.”

====

Compare and contrast the above with these quotes:

This comes from here, Racing toward disaster: Israel’s unsustainable population bomb (2017)

The National Economic Council finally decided to weigh in on the issue in its August report, highlighting the dramatic increase among Haredi populations and hinting about possible ramifications for the economy. It would seem that not only environmentalists have come to recognize that present population patterns are unsustainable; economists are increasingly alarmed, as well. That’s because the bulk of local population growth today can be found among Haredi and Beduin families.

And this comes from here, Israel’s soaring population: Promised Land running out of room?

“Israel is on the road to an ecological, social and quality of life disaster because as the population density rises it becomes more violent, congested and unpleasant to live in and with absolutely no room for any species other than humans,” said Alon Tal, a professor at Ben-Gurion University’s Institutes for Desert Research and founder of the Green Movement party.

There’s a subtle, but disturbing similarity, no?

====

So, after we said a virtual ‘hi’ to the Rav in Tzalmon, we headed off towards Rashbi’s tomb in Meron, but before we got there, I noticed signs by the side of the road for the tomb of Havvakuk the Prophet. We turned off, headed down a short dirt track – and found there were a few other people at the tomb.

5-6 Breslovers, of various ages were there, eating food and one guy was playing the guitar.

He was playing it amazingly well. And singing a song about ‘geula coming now, if we just hang on one more day’. I stopped in my tracks, transfixed by what I was seeing and hearing.

My soul started to soar up – and it struck me that here, at Havvakuk HaNavi, there was currently way more life, and way more light, than by most places in the world, right now.

====

As I was listening to the guy totally rocking the kever with his acoustic guitar, it struck me that he sounded a little familiar. I asked my husband to ask him if he’d put out any CDs – and sure enough, he had. We had one. It’s one of my favorite disks and I bought it from the guy himself when he showed up at my door 10 years ago.

And now he was here, playing at Havvakuk the Prophet.

Two songs later, another car load of Breslovers pulled up, and one guy got out holding a massive speaker on his shoulder broadcasting the more standard techno-Na-Nach music.

It couldn’t hold a candle to the acoustic guitar, but it just reinforced the impression of life, vitality and happiness that really, you can only find by the True Tzaddikim right now.

====

On the way home, we also popped into Rashbi, and then Rabbi Meir Baal NaNess, where the facemask madness is half in force, and half being ignored.

I said some tikkun haklalis, and I just felt pretty happy and content.

Mostly.

Because I know the wider world is starting to burn, and I know that the darkness is becoming suffocating in so many ways right now.

But there is a way out of the problem, and that is to follow the light.

====

====

Follow the light, the teachings, the advice of Rebbe Nachman, and of Rabbi Berland, and it will lead you out of the darkness.

It will lead you to reconnecting to Hashem and your soul.

It will lead you to the Promised Land, in so many different ways.

And don’t wait too long to do that, because we only have today.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

But if we have the light of the True Tzaddikim to guide us, we’ll be in much better shape to deal with it, than anyone else on the planet, wherever they happen to live.

Back at the end of January, I decided to start doing 40 days at the Kotel for a chareidi family I’ve become acquainted with, who are seriously messed-up.

While the mother is practically a burka-babe, and the father likes to spout pointless divrei Torah for hours (that no-one can interrupt or disagree with, as that would be disrespectful) most of their kids are off the derech, most of them started smoking aged 12 and one of them preferred to leave home and to sleep on the streets than stay at home.

Coming from my own background, and experiencing what I’ve experienced in life, I found it so very hard to try to judge this family favorably, l’chaf zchut, or to do Azamra on them, as per the instructions of Rebbe Nachman in Likutey Moharan, 1:282.

There, Rabbenu tells us:

Know: one must judge every person favorably. Even if the person is totally wicked, one must search and find in him some bit of good, regarding which he is not wicked. By finding in him this bit of good and judging him favorably, one actually elevates him to the direction of righteousness and is able to bring him to repentance.

====

I really want this family to make teshuva.

The mother spends most of her time with her kids carping about their faults – to their faces – and complaining that they’ve let her down and come out ‘ruined’ because they aren’t frum enough. Never mind all the kids’ good points. Never mind all the effort they are still making to try to respect their parents, and to take all the blame for their own profound emotional issues upon themselves.

Whenever I hear her interactions with her children, I literally start cringing inside. It’s a non-stop fountain of onaat devarim,  poisonous self-righteousness, criticism, lashon hara and arrogance.

But she thinks she’s a tzaddeket.

Why?

Because she dresses SO tzniusly…. And she won’t eat meat anymore because no hechsher is good enough…. And she has no tumahdik computers in the house (which means her husband is really struggling to make parnassa, but hey, let’s not hairsplit here)…. And she won’t listen to any music – at all! – because she can’t be sure it’s coming from a good, kosher place.

Such a tzaddeket.

Did I mention that the family is strongly Litvish, and kind of ‘anti’ Breslov, and especially ‘anti’ Rav Berland?

No?

Ah, my bad, sorry.

====

So, like I said, I’ve been really struggling to do Azamra for these people – and all the hundreds of thousands like them in the chareidi world, who are so anal about all their mitzvoth bein adam l’makom, and so very awful in their mitzvoth bein adam l’chavero.

In the chareidi world as it’s currently configured, your choice is to become a frum robot – and to totally choke down any vestige of individuality or independent thought, and to care more about what the neighbors think than what Hashem really thinks – or to leave.

Thank God for Rebbe Nachman, because when I was faced with this choice, at least I could still find refuge in Breslov.

Or at least, the Breslov of Rav Berland and his students, that welcomed Sephardim, and baal teshuvas, and people like me, who were never going to fit the ‘frum robot’ mold that is de rigeur in mainstream chareidi society.

That strand of Breslov emphasizes the inner world over the outer appearance. It values practice over preaching. And it underscores again, and again, and again that the main work we are down here to do is to work on our own bad middot, and particularly those feelings of arrogance that take us away from Hashem, cut us off from our own neshamas – and hurt so many of the people we should be caring for.

Especially our kids.

====

So, I started that 40 days 3 months ago, and man, it’s been a struggle for so many different reasons.

Today, I got up early to make sure I’d get to the Kotel to complete the 40th day, in the middle of all the ‘Yom Yerushalayim’ (non) celebrations.

When I finally got my 1 minute ‘slot’ to stand at the wall, I got there, kissed it, then started crying.

God, it’s too hard for me. I can’t judge all these horrible, arrogant people favorably. I can’t think good thoughts about people who prefer seeing their own kids sleeping rough on the street than ‘looking bad’ in front of the neighbors.

I can’t stand the hypocrisy, I can’t stand the lack of real connection to Hashem, I can’t stand all the pretend piety, controlling emotional manipulation and holier-than-thou fakeness.

God. I’ve failed. This 40 days has failed.

I’m doing less Azamra now for these people than when I started….

====

Deep down, I know nothing is for nothing, but that’s how I felt as I left the wall this morning.

====

I came home, checked my emails, and found one from someone called rivkyalbert@gmail.com that said in big, crowing capital letters:

GAME OVER!!!

She’d kindly forwarded all the ‘psak din’ that had just come out against Rabbi Berland from an anti-Breslov beis din located in Bnei Brak, that she’d got straight from the Rav’s main Breslov persecutors.

There’s so much to say about what’s going on here, and after I’ve done more hitbodedut, if God wants me to start clarifying matters – again, for the 500th time – then I will.

But in the meantime, I’m in no rush.

====

You know why?

Because I understand that this is a very important part of the clarification process.

Just like God kept on hardening Pharoah’s heart in Egypt, so he could maintain his free choice, so God is doing the same thing here.

  • After all the mounting evidence of the last few months that the State of Israel has been waging a war specifically against the chareidi community…
  • After all the mounting evidence that the media is totally biased and corrupt, and bought and paid for by vested interests that are ‘anti-God’ in the most profound, evil way…
  • After all the arguments that have occurred recently in the chareidi world between those people who think that praying to God is dangerous, and those who think the opposite…
  • After all the deaths in the chareidi world globally that were attributed to COVID-19…
  • After all the strict lockdowns of specifically chareidi neighborhoods…
  • After all the kabbalists, and big rabbis, and lamed vav Tzaddikim who stated plainly that talking against Rabbi Berland is directly connected to COVID-19….

====

So, the test is being repeated again, to see who has really learned their lesson, and who hasn’t.

====

I’m in no rush to explain what’s going on here.

God has given the chareidi world – and all the other ‘anti Rav Berland’ people – a large quantity of rope, and He’s waiting to see who is going to hang themselves with their own evil speech, and their own bad middot.

Rebbe Nachman told us that before Moshiach would come, heresy would cover the land like a flood, that even ‘big rabbis’ and ‘Torah scholars’ would have heresy dripping out of their pockets, and that most of the leaders of Am Yisrael would be false.

There is a birur going on here.

It’s picking up speed.

It’s becoming more and more obvious that a person’s middot and real connection to Hashem can’t be judged by their appearance, position or title.

But by their actions. And their deeds.

And most of all, whether their homes are full of love and kindness and shalom bayit, and full of children who feel loved and accepted in their homes – or not.

====

The last thing for now, is that it’s no coincidence that as all the lashon hara about Rav Berland ratcheted up a level today, this was the lead story on the JPost website:

====

Walking around today, I see that the masks seem to be making a come back in Jerusalem, after a week where more and more people had stopped wearing them.

Logically, this makes no sense. The weather is still hot. Everything is meant to be ‘opening up’ more and more.

But spiritually, it all fits perfectly.

Thanks to that ‘beis din’ in Bnei Brak, which has unleashed another, awful wave of sinat chinam and lashon hara against Rav Berland,  I reckon we are now about to head into a second wave of COVID madness.

So, go stock up on your water, toilet paper and whatever else you need now.

Because the next stage of the birur has arrived. And if you thought the police brutality against the chareidi communities in Israel and beyond was bad before, I have a feeling that far worse is now to come.

Unless we finally make teshuva, and stop pretending that we’re the biggest tzaddikim on the block.

====

UPDATE:

Strange as it sounds, the majority of the Shuvu Banim community seem to be doing OK with this ‘psak din’ – even feeling relieved and calmly content.

Why?

Because we all knew that ‘beit din’ was anti-Breslov and anti-Rav Berland right from the start, so no-one is shocked at this outcome.

Also, the Rav was hinting for years that something like this had to happen to get us to the next stage of geula.

And also, because it’s a relief that this ‘fig leaf’ has now been provided by Hashem, to unmask all those yucky horrible people who pretend to be religious, and who pretend to be connected to Hashem.

====

Yalla, yucky people!

Write as many horrible comments and posts as you can in the short amount of time that probably remains to you!

It’s all dissing diamonds, it’s all helping the Rav to sweeten the judgments, and it’s helping his community too.

It’s like I told someone close to the Rav who called me before Shabbat feeling quite shaken up and upset:

I’d much rather have all their dissing and carping, and keep my health, shalom bayit and parnassa, than the opposite.

I’m (trying to be…) a sincere student of the Rav, after all, and here’s what he’s been teaching us for years:

====

God will deal with all the yucky people in due course – and it won’t be pretty.

So, hang on my sweet readers! This is a bump in the road, but it’s a necessary part of the geula process to unmask all those pretend frum fakers out there, and show us all what we’re really dealing with.

And it’s already working!

BH, the revealed good is on the way soon, and in the meantime, don’t throw the diamonds back.

They are ‘buying’ us good health, shalom bayit, parnassa, and all the other good stuff that’s really important.

And the truth will out soon enough.

People are already nudging me to write Volume III of One in a Generation….

And I’m almost ready to say yes.
