The Tiferet Yisrael – and a nest of Sabbateans

Believe it or not, one of ‘JR”s comments here has actually been very useful.

But this post is going to show us how Sabbatean ‘heretical’ teachings were snuck in to authentic Judaism – and have totally subverted it, from the inside.

Which is how we can live in a world where so many people dress ‘orthodox’, and even learn Torah, and have big beards all the rest of it, but can still be horrible pedophiles, or outright, G-d-and-His-Torah-denying heretics. (Secretly…)

Let’s dive in.

The story begins with someone called the ‘Tiferet Yisrael’, who JR brought as his source for why vaccinations are good and holy, and why known Freemasons like Edward Jenner are actually ‘righteous gentiles’.

I started looking that guy up, and here is what I found, initially (from HERE).

Snippet:

“Rabbi Yisrael Lifshitz, known by the name of his commentary, the Tiferet Yisrael, was born in the year 1782 in the region of Poznan, which is located on the border between Poland and Germany.

According to the Tiferet Yisrael’s own testimony recorded in his introduction to Seder Taharot, he was part of a family with illustrious rabbinic lineage that dated back to Rabbi Moshe Isserles, the Rema. Indeed, it is known that many of his ancestors were prominent rabbis.”

This was enough to know I’d tripped over another ‘interesting’ person, so I decided to keep exploring.

Here’s a translation of his comments about Edward Jenner and Francis Drake:

It’s part of his discussion about the differences between Jews and non Jews, and his definition of a ‘righteous gentile’ where:

“It seems that advancing the world technologically earns a place in Olam HaBa (according to Tiferes Yisrael).”

[Talking about non-Jewish scientists and inventors]:

“We see many of them are righteous. Not only do they recognise the Creator of Genesis, and believe in His Torah that it is Divine, and they also do kindness like Yisrael.

Some have done extraordinary good things for the inhabitants of the world, like the righteous Jenner who invented the vaccine (for smallpox) which saves hundreds of thousand of people from illness, death or disfiguration.

And Drake (Sir Francis Drake 1540-1596) who brought the potato to Europe, and thus prevented famine many times. Or Guttenberg who invented the printing press.

Several of them were not paid at all in this world, like the righteous Johannes Reuchlin (1455-1522), who was prepared to lay down his life to prevent the burning of the Talmud. This was commanded by Caesar (Holy Roman Emporer) Maximillian (I) in the year 5262 through the activism of the heretic Pfefferkorn (1469-1523) and the priests, his wicked group.

This Reuchlin risked his life and based on his claims he persuaded the Caesar to retract his decree. Because of this he was hounded and the priests, his enemies, made his life a misery. They pressured him until eventually he died in dire straits and broken hearted.

Could we think that all these great deeds would not be repaid in the World-to-Come, behind the ‘curtain’ – Heaven forbid! God does not withhold the reward of any creature.

If you would suggest that even though these righteous people kept all the seven mitzvoth of Bnei Noach (from Sanhedrin 56b), nevertheless they do not have the status of ‘Ger Toshav’ since they did not accept these mitzvoth before three Rabbis (based on Avoda Zara 64b).

Furthermore, we do not accept Ger Toshav nowadays, only at the time that the mitzvah of Yovel applies (Erechin 29a). Even so, since they did not act like Esav, they have reward in the World-to-Come (based on Avoda Zara 10b).”

I’m in the middle of reading a book called ‘Dissolving Illusions’, about all the quackery, lies and deception that have been used for more than 200 years to persuade people that ‘vaccination works’.

When I’m done, I will precis the main information here.

But suffice to say, the Tiferet Yisrael was totally wrong about Edward Jenner.

And I also found it very eye-opening that he was so full of praise for Johannes Reuchlin, one of the leading xtian kabbalists of the 15th-16th century – and a key figure in my theory that ‘xtian kabbalists’ become ‘xtian zionists’ and then started looking for figure heads for their ‘zionist movement’ within the Jewish community itself.

So, there were enough red flags waving away that I thought it was worthwhile to take a closer look at the Tiferet Yisrael, R’ Yisrael Lifshitz.

These days, the very first thing I try to check out is who is this guy related to?

Because in case you still didn’t get how this works, the only people who are allowed to ‘rise to the top’ in the Jewish community, unimpeded, and with lots of help from the ‘machine’, belong to Sabbatean-Frankist families.

(Remember this, next time you see the next ‘big thing’ from the Sabbatean-Frankists having a PR blitz all over the internet, and being acclaimed as the next (false…) messiah.)

In English, I was finding it hard to track down the details of his ‘illustrious genealogy’ – which happens a lot with the Sabbatean-Frankists who descend from the REMA, and many other of our ‘big names’.

But in Russian, it was another story, and I somehow got to THIS article, where I picked up some more important clues.

First, we learn that the Tiferet Yisrael was a big believer in Darwin’s (totally heretical, anti-Torah and anti-God) theory of evolution.

Many in the religious community are of the opinion that scientific theories of the development of the world in all possible variants, without exception, including catastrophism and the theory of evolution, completely do not correspond to the Torah and are completely incompatible with it. 

However, such an” obvious ” fact was not recognized by all the sages of the Torah. This article is dedicated to one of them — to Rav Yisrael Lifshitz, author of the famous commentary on the Mishnah “Tiferet Yisrael”.

The Tiferet Yisrael is doing a great job of ticking every ‘secret heretic’ box we’re stumbling over, so far!

Because you CANNOT believe in the Torah, really, and ALSO believe in the ridiculous, anti-Torah, anti-God theory of evolution.

(Which explains a lot about why you should really just steer clear of the heretics who write, read and comment on THIS blog….)

So, who is this guy?

Snippet:

In the introduction to his commentary on the Ta’aroth section, he states that his family is descended from the REMA (Rabbi Moshe Isserlis) and the Maharam of Padua. 

His grandfather, who was also called Yisrael Lifshitz, Rabbi of Kliva (Kleve), was directly involved in the sensational story of the so-called “Geth of Kliva”[1] — he wrote this “geth” and published the book “Ohr Yisrael”, dedicated to the justification of his decision.

You can read more about the infamous ‘Get of Kleves’ HERE, on the Jewish Virtual Library site.

The controversy over the ‘Get of Kleves’ basically rent the orthodox rabbinate into pieces, as the different sides lined up and battled it out in some awful ways.

It did a great deal to lower the standing of the orthodox rabbinate in the eyes of the Jewish public – which was actually the whole point.

R Marvin Antelmann, in the second volume of his book ‘To Eliminate the Opiate’, says the following about the Cleves Get (from p 26):

While R Antelmann apparently believes R Israel Lipshuetz of Cleves was ‘duped’ by the Sabbatians in participating in their plot to carry on dismantling Rabbinic Judaism, I have to say I’m really not so sure he was a ‘passive’ participant.

Let’s see if we can figure out a bit more.

As we know, the Sabbatian-Frankists routinely married each other, down many generations (and also pre-dating Shabtai Tzvi / SHACH, because these families have been controlling the Jewish community for at least two millenia.)

That doesn’t mean everyone in these families was corrupt, but it DOES mean that anyone who attained prominence either was part of the machine from birth, or somehow married in to it, or got corrupted by it – or was virulently attacked by it.

So, I went back to the Russian site HERE to see if I could figure out a bit more about who these Lipshuetzs were marrying.

And that’s when things started to get really interesting.

First, let’s go back to ‘R Israel ben Eliezer Lipshuetz’, who issued the Kleves Get.

On the Jewish Encyclopaedia website HERE, we learn he was a student of R Yehezkel Katzenellenbogen, the Knesset Yehezkel.

There are ton of Knesset Yehezkel descendants in the Frankist family tree, and there is a lot of twisted and obscured genealogy, too, the hallmarks of Sabbatian-Frankist families.

We will come back to him another time, but R Yaakov Emden made it clear in his works that the Knesset Yisrael had a low character, and was particuarly interested in money and status.

Next, I started scooting around geni, to see what more clues I could pick up there.

HERE is the family tree, and below is a paired-down screenshot:

The dates are all off, as happens so many times in the family trees of the Sabbatean-Frankists.

(I am coming to the conclusion that because these people had ‘dual identities’, often as ‘leading rabbis’ and leading maskilim / freemasons / reformers, that many of these trees are kind of ‘padded out’ with these alter egos, to try to hide the trail of who they really were, and what they were really up to.)

But, I notice that ‘R Israel (ben Eliezer) Lipshutz’ has a son called ‘R Yaacov Kopel Lipschutz’ – and that name sticks in my head, because of a post I read a while back on the Kotzk blog, HERE.

R Yaakov Koppel Lifshitz (Lipshutz) wrote a book called Sha’ar Gan Eden – and was a secret Sabbatean.

Here’s some pertinent snippets from the Kotzk blog:

After Shabbatai Tzvi died in 1676, the Jewish world was permeated with secret Sabbateans, many of whom presented a facade of Halachik observances to hide their messianic agendas and aspirations. See Shabbatai Tzvi – Roots run Deep….

SHAAR GAN EDEN:

R. Yaakov Koppel Lifschitz is best known for his Shaar Gan Eden which he wrote in Volhynia in the early 1700’s and which was printed posthumously in 1803.

In the preface to Shaar Gan Eden, R. Yaakov Koppel writes strongly against Sabbateanism.

However, the actual contents of his book show subscription to much of Sabbatean ideology. This disavowal was a common technique used frequently by many secret Sabbateans during that time.

So, now we have a clear link between this particular branch of the Lipshitz / Lipshuetz family, and the leading ‘secret Sabbateans’ who were off subverting the Jewish community any way they could.

But I’m still trying to pin down the dates, and the connections.

Israel ben Eliezer Lipshutz is married to Rivka Katzenellenbogen, and she descends from the same SHOR family that I keep writing about here, who gave rise to Jacob Frank, Elisha Shor, the Chabad dynasty – and possibly also the British Royal Family.

According to the skewed family tree on Geni, Rivka and Israel have two sons, 21 years apart:

Gedaliah Lipshitz (1746-1826) (the father of the Tiferet Yisrael)

And

Yaakov Kopel Lipshitz (1725-1784)

It’s possible, but highly unlikely, that you’d have only two siblings, 21 years apart….

So, there is some funny business going on here.

On the Encyclopaedia.com site HERE, we learn more about the Sabbatean writings of Yaacov Kopel, who this site says apparently died around 1740.

Snippet:

JACOB KOPPEL BEN MOSES OF MEZHIRECH (d. c. 1740), Polish kabbalist. Jacob was influenced by the Shabbatean movement in Poland, and he himself influenced Ḥasidism….

A close study of the kabbalistic doctrine of Jacob proves conclusively that his works included at least one part of a “credo” of *Nathan of Gaza, the prophet of Shabbetai Ẓevi, that substantial parts of his theosophical discussions were influenced by Nathan’s basic doctrines, and that his works contain many ideas and expressions similar to those of Jonathan *Eybeschuetz, another secret Shabbatean in Eastern Europe.

Pay attention:

Most of chassidut came down via people who were ‘secret Sabbateans’, and the Baal Shem Tov ‘sweetened’ and elevated much of their teachings, and caused many of them to make teshuva.

But by the time of Rabbenu, 50 years later, many of these chassidic leaders and their successors fell back under the sway of the original Sabbatean path – which at this point, had also fractured off into Frankists and Reformers, too – and fought tooth and nail against Rebbe Nachman and Breslov, who continued and expanded the true path of the ‘light’ of the BESHT.

Here’s another interesting snippet about the Sabbatean ‘Yaakov Koppel Lipshutz’, who otherwise has been kind of scrubbed right out of Jewish history:

 [I]t has been proved that he was the brother and pupil of a known Shabbatean, Ḥayyim of Ostraha (Ostrog), who influenced his writings.

On the one hand, I love finding snippets like this, as they give me more to go on.

And on the other – it drives me insane, that so much of this information was obviously clearly known even a generation or two ago, and has now been totally censored, and lied about, in our history books.

So, the ‘Sabbatean’ Yaakov Koppel Lipshutz descends from Moses / Moshe Lipshutz of Mezritch, and has a well-known Sabbatean brother called Hayyim of Ostraha.

(This Hayyim could well be the ‘Malach Haim‘, the famous Sabbatean prophet who converted many big rabbis to the cause…)

So now, I start digging around to see if I can find any more about this leading Sabbatean ‘Hayyim of Ostraha / Ostrog’, who has also been scrubbed from Jewish history.

For once, I seem to dig up a real connection on geni, inputted by real people, and not just ‘Geni disinformation gatekeepers’.

There’s a real grave stone.

There’s a real death record.

There are real ‘yichus brief’ descriptions in at least two books.

Here’s a little of what they tell us:

According to Sefer Nacheli Dvash, by Rav Shmuel Freidman, Rav Shmuel ben Chaim of Ostroh was a fourth generation descendant of [Shmuel Eliezer haLevi Eideles, MaHarSha], and seems to be named for him as well. They were from the same place of Ostroh, Ukraine.

According to Sefer Nacheli Dvash [http://www.hebrewbooks.org/3755] Shmuel Ostrah’s uncle was [Rabbi Aryeh Leib ben Asher, “Shaagas Aryeh” A.B.D. Minsk, Volozhin, Metz], and after his death, Shmuel was supposed to take over the Position of Av Beis Din of Metz after his uncle.

Well.

This brings me back to the ‘Shaagas Aryeh’ – another person whose family tree is totally messed up, in some deliberately incredible ways.

Let’s see if we can understand, a little, of why that might be.

First, believe it or not, there seem to be two ‘Shaagas Aryehs’.

The first one is Yehuda Aryeh Leib Sirkis, or Sirkin, who was the step-son of the TaZ, R David HaLevi Segal.

HERE‘s his geni profile:

As usual, his history is deliberately distorted, with a fake timeline given for him between 1592-1655.

Really, he was born in 1620 and died in 1710.

Why was this information deliberately manipulated like this?

Gershom Scholem’s book on Shabtai Tzvi can tell us.

There, we find a whole contemporary account reproduced about the meeting between Shabtai Tzvi (i.e. the SHACH, in his ‘messianic persona’) and the two messengers from Poland, the TaZ’s son and step-son, who he sent to check out the wannabe Moshiach.

I’m reproducing most of it below (you can find on pages 623-626 in Scholem’s book):

As they entered, they bent their knees and prostrated themselves before him.

Shabtai asked them, “Were you here during my festival and the Great Sabbath?” and they answered, “Yes, Our Lord.” He then asked, “And did you have any doubts [because I changed the Law]?” And they said, “God forbid…”

They wanted to tell him of the tribulations and massacres suffered by the Polish Jews, but Shabtai said: “You need not tell me. Behold the book Suc ha-Ittim… is open here with me all day long.” He added, “Why do you think I am dressed in red and my Torah scroll is draped with red? Because the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.”

The envoys said, “Our Lord, for many years, and quite recently again, sacrifices and holocausts have been made because of our sins, and the sacrifice of Isaac has been repeated over and over again in Poland.” He replied, “I will make mine arrows drunk with blood,” (Devarim 32:42).

He revealed to them many kabbalistic mysteries, and then began to sing hymns and songs [arranged] according to the alphabet. When he came to the letter zayin he cried out, “Remember mine affliction and mine anguish!” (Lamentations 3:19) and wept bitterly.

Then he bade them sit at his side and, taking R. Isaiah [son of the TaZ] by the hand, asked him, “Are you the son of the Turey Zahav?”

And he answered, “Yes, Our Lord.”

Next, he asked R. Aryeh Leib [the ‘Shaagas Aryeh’ number one], “And you are the son of the same author’s present wife?”

And he answered, “Yes, Our Lord.” Then he inquired after the health of their father, and they answered….”May our Lord give us something to cure [our father].”

Thereupon, he gave them a piece of sugar, saying, “He shall eat this and be healed forthwith.” Then he took a silk coat, and also took off a valuable woolen garment that he was wearing, and said to R Aryeh Leib, “Take this coat and put it on your father, reciting the verse ‘The youth is renewed like the eagle,” (Psalms 103:5)….

He bade them sit at his side, but they replied, “Our Lord! It is sufficient for us to lick the dust of Our Lord; we must not approach the Holiness.”…

Shabtai took two gold coins, gave one to each and said, “When my kingdom will be manifest, you shall appear before me for a remembrance.” Then Shabtai took a scarf embroidered with gold and said to R. Isaiah, “Bow your head,” and when he had done so, he wrapped it around his neck and said, “I make you kings in this world; you shall be kings and princes before me.”

Then he took a scarf from the neck of one of the rabbis present, a certain R Gamaliel, and told them each to hold one end of the scarf. When they had done so, Shabtai stood facing them and began to dance, singing melodiously the whole Psalm 118….

Thus he continued to sing and to dance for about half an hour, and the envoys could barely contain their joy. Then Shabtai ordered everyone to leave the room, and when he was alone with the two emissaries he said, “I adjure you not to divulge to anyone, not even to your aged father R David Ha-Levi, that which I am now going to reveal to you.”

And he revealed to them great kabbalistic mysteries….

I wanted to quote this at length, because I want you to see for yourselves how much reverence these two emissaries – the son and the stepson of the TaZ – had for Shabtai Tzvi / SHACH.

Ask yourselves, what language were they speaking, these two emissaries from Poland, and apparently the ‘Salonikan’ Shabtai Tzvi?

Also, notice how Shabtai Tzvi gave each a gold coin (does that remind you of anything, or anyone?)

Also, notice how Shabtai Tzvi sang and danced with them.

And lastly, notice how the verses and biblical quotes tripped off his tongue so easily, as could only happen with someone extremely learned in Torah (like the SHACH….) and not what you’d expect from a crazy person off the street….

The point is:

Yehuda Aryeh Leib Sirkin clearly fell very hard under the spell of Shabtai Tzvi.

And so, it shouldn’t surprise you that a whole bunch of his descendants, both ‘scrubbed’ and unscrubbed, figure VERY prominently in the Sabbatean-Frankist family network.

And also happen to constitute a very large percentage of our own ‘big rabbis’ and leaders.

Let’s try to wrap this up.

Aryeh Leib Sirkin (Shaagas Aryeh Number 1, and huge fan of Shabtai Tzvi, 1620-1710)  apparently marries a few times, including:

  • RIVKA SHOR
  • RIKEL RACHEL HAMMERSCHLAG YAFFE

His descendants include a whole bunch of people you’ve heard of, including the Alter Rebbe of Chabad’s wife, Sterna Segal.

If you skip forward a few generations, Sirkin’s great-granddaughter marries R’ Asher ABD of Minsk – who is the father of the second person we are told went by the name of the ‘Shaagas Aryeh’, R Aryeh Leib ben Asher, ABD of Minsk, Volozhin and Metz (1695-1785).

Now, back to that mysterious Sabbatean ‘Hayyim of Ostroh’, brother and teacher of secret Sabbatean Yaakov Kopel Lipshutz.

Remember we learnt this:

Here is where I hit another dead end.

I can tell you that the ‘fourth generations descendants’ of the MaHarSha include a whole bunch of the Sabbatean-Frankists I’ve been writing about here, but I can’t find a specific ‘R Shmuel ben Chaim of Ostroh’ – because the REAL NAMES of these Sabbateans all got scrubbed or changed to something else.

The whole trick is figuring out who their ‘alter egos’ are, in our real Jewish world.

And of course, the second ‘Shaagas Aryeh’s’ family tree has been totally scrubbed.

We’ll stop there.

There are still so many gaps to fill in, so much scrubbed information, sometimes it’s so frustrating.

But, one thing we can say for sure, is that the vaccine-and-evolution-pushing ‘Tiferet Yisrael’ descends from a family that is chock-full of suspected Sabbateans.

To put this simply, the statements of all these heretical ‘modern science’ pushers in our Jewish community need to be very carefully evaluated, double-checked – and pushed back against.

And that includes double-checking the context, values and family trees of the ‘Torah personalities’ they bring to support their heretical statements and beliefs.

Because more often than not, when you take the time to flip that particular stone, you’ll find a whole bunch of Sabbatean-Frankists crawling out from underneath it.

In that typically incestuous way of these Sabbatean-Frankist families, it looks like the Sha’agas Aryeh Number 2 is actually the first cousin of Ester Sirkis, the Knesset Yehezkel’s wife, mentioned above as the main ‘rabbi’ of the Cleves Get Rabbi Lipshutz.

Was Rebbe Nachman’s ‘advice’ on vaccines forged?

That is the question I’ve been asking myself for months, already.

[Reposted from the old blog, but if anything, even more relevant to what’s going on today, especially about Freemasons, Royal Families and ‘vaccinations’.]

Because if you read Rebbe Nachman, he tells you again and again and again stay away from all doctors, they are mamash the agents of death. In fact, he puts it even more bluntly. Here’s just one of his direct comments on the subject (found in English in the book Tzaddik, page 191.)

On the subject of medicine and the importance of avoiding physicians completely, the Rebbe said that when a person has someone sick in his house, if someone came and told him to give the patient a blow with a big wooden club he would certainly be very shocked. Yet when one puts the patient in the hands of the doctor it is literally like handing him over to a murderer. The doctor’s remedies are more harmful than the blow of a murderer. Who would want to kill the patient with his own hands? Just because you have to do something to try and save the patient does that mean you should hand him over to a doctor?  You might as well call someone to beat the patient to death. Understand this.

Doctor-apologists within Breslov have always tried to claim that Rabbenu was only talking about the ‘primitive medicine’ in Eastern Europe at the time he was alive – shortly before vaccines had been discovered by Edward Jenner!!! But I don’t buy that.

Rabbenu’s advice stands the test of time, and it’s not limited to time or place.

Dafka, he knew with ruach hakodesh what was going to occur all the way up to the coming of the Moshiach, so we’re meant to believe he was only talking about the early 1800s, when he said stay away from doctors and the medical profession? I think not. (It’s a separate point, but even before this Covid 19 scandal, iatrogenic illness – i.e. medical conditions caused by medical treatment and medicine itself – was the third highest cause of death in America. Take a look at the table below, from THIS website, which has a lot of referenced information, if you want to know more.)

So then, I always struggled greatly to understand why Rebbe Nachman appeared to totally disregard everything else he says about totally avoiding doctors, to encourage his followers to get their children vaccinated.

Here is a screenshot of the original Hebrew, which was sent to me by my friend C. who decided to research this a bit more after we were discussing it:

Here’s the translation:

Rabbenu HaKadosh said that each child needs to ‘stand up’ in the ‘pakin’ [Yiddish word, which apparently means vaccination] before they reach a quarter of a year (i.e. three months old)…[Yiddish phrase]… (And if not) he is like a spiller of blood. Even if it’s a long way away from the city, and even if the travel has to occur in the time of the great cold [of winter], to stand up in the ‘pakin’, before a quarter of a year.

You see the problem?

How are we meant to square this above comment, supposedly from Rabbenu, with this statement that was definitely from Rabbenu:

[W]hen one puts the patient in the hands of the doctor it is literally like handing him over to a murderer.

Here’s what my friend had to say about it, after doing some research:

In regards to Rabbi Nachman and the smallpox vaccine;

I looked it up in Avaneha Barzel and one of the thing it says is that one should even travel in the time of the great cold in order to give the “vaccine” before the baby is 3 months.

I feel with everything Rabbenu really wanted his followers to do, he said several times in different ways and you can find it in different books.

But this vaccine thing is only found in Avaneha Barzel that was written after both Rabbenu and Rav Natan passed away.

I have a hard time imagining that Rabbenu would insist on a mother traveling in a horse and carriage with her 3 month old baby in the middle of the Ukrainian winter in order to give a vaccine.

Before the last year, I would never dream to question anything being put out in Rabbenu’s name.

But increasingly, I’m realising how the Jewish people’s holiest institutions and teachings have been infiltrated and compromised by people who are not holy.

And I’ve also learned that whatever is going on now, was also going on in the past, too. So, if the forces of evil could put out a million forged and faked psakim from gedolim like R’ Chaim Kanievsky in broad daylight, in the ‘information age’, then for sure they could also have done that in the past, too, with gedolim like Rebbe Nachman of Breslov.

We already know with all the persecution of the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, that’s gone on within the Breslov community in Meah Shearim and elsewhere, that there are some very problematic individuals deeply embedded within Breslov, whose yichus goes way, way back to all those other interesting people and families I keep writing about here.

So, let’s try to figure this out a bit more.

Here’s how the Breslov Research Institute translates that passage, above, in Tzaddik (footnote 14 on page 192):

“One who does not innoculate his infant children against pakin, smallpox, it is as if he murdered them. Even if one lives distant from the city, even in the middle of winter in freezing weather, one must bring his infant child for the vaccination.”

So, now we learn that pakin is apparently the Yiddish word for smallpox, NOT the Yiddish word for ‘vaccination’.

Everything now turns on the correct meaning of this word:

להעמיד

According to Morfix, we get these meanings back for that word:

to place, to position; to place upright, to erect; to get someone to their feet

This is not at all the language associated with vaccinations and innoculations.

If we take away the ‘helpful’ explanations in square brackets that pushes the explanation towards vaccines, the plain language seems to say this:

Rabbenu HaKadosh said that each child needs to ‘stand up in / be placed in’  the ‘pakin’ (smallpox) before they reach a quarter of a year (i.e. three months old)…[Yiddish phrase]… (And if not) he is like a spiller of blood. Even if it’s a long way away from the city, and even if the travel has to occur in the time of the great cold [of winter], to be placed in the ‘pakin’, before a quarter of a year.

Or in other words:

Go, take your child and make sure you expose him to smallpox before he reaches three months old, even if you have to travel a long way to do that, even if it’s the middle of the winter.

Suddenly, this starts to make way, way more sense, and to perfectly fit with Rabbenu’s other advice on totally avoiding doctors and medicines.

So now, we get to the next question (which I can’t answer – maybe someone out there can help me out.)

Who tampered with the text in Avenha Barzel to make it sound like Rabbenu was pushing vaccines, when he wasn’t talking about vaccinations at all?

If you are new to this blog, you probably don’t know that Yigal Burstein is one of the ‘professional disinformation artists’ on geni, who ‘manages’ (also spelled D-I-S-T-O-R-T-S) a great many of the profiles of important people in Jewish history, including the Alter Rebbe of Chabad.

What possible link does Yigal Burstein, resident of Israel, have with Edward Jenner, non-Jewish, English ‘inventor’ of smallpox vaccines?

And while you are chewing that over, here’s some other interesting information to throw into the mix.

The whole narrative about the smallpox vaccine that we’ve been taught doesn’t make sense, when you go back and piece together the actual information.

You and I were taught that English Physician Edward Jenner (1749-1823)  ‘invented’ the smallpox vaccine. But even a cursory look at a few Wikipedia pages starts to throw this whole story on its head. Here’s some snippets, first from Jenner’s page:

[In the early 1700s….] Inoculation was already pioneered in Asian and African medicine and was a standard practice but involved serious risks, one of which was the fear that those inoculated would then transfer the disease to those around them due to their becoming carriers of the disease.

In 1721, Lady Mary Wortley Montagu had imported variolation to Britain after having observed it in Constantinople. While Johnnie Notions had great success with his self-devised inoculation (and was reputed not to have lost a single patient), his method’s practice was limited to the Shetland Isles. Voltaire wrote that at this time 60% of the population caught smallpox and 20% of the population died of it. Voltaire also states that the Circassians used the inoculation from times immemorial, and the custom may have been borrowed by the Turks from the Circassians….  

In the years following 1770, at least five investigators in England and Germany (Sevel, Jensen, Jesty 1774, Rendell, Plett 1791) successfully tested in humans a cowpox vaccine against smallpox…. but it was not until Jenner’s work that the procedure became widely understood.

In other words… Edward Jenner invented precisely nothing, but somehow got all the credit for his ‘smallpox vaccine’.

Once again, we see how ‘Master Masons’ are strangely catapulted to the top of the pile, and get all the good PR and undeserved credit. But even stranger, is what apparently happens next (still from Jenner’s Wikipedia page HERE):

[I]n 1840, the British government banned variolation – the use of smallpox to induce immunity – and provided vaccination using cowpox free of charge (see Vaccination Act). The success of his discovery soon spread around Europe and was used en masse in the Spanish Balmis Expedition (1803–1806), a three-year-long mission to the Americas, the Philippines, Macao, China, led by Francisco Javier de Balmis with the aim of giving thousands the smallpox vaccine….

Napoleon, who at the time was at war with Britain, had all his French troops vaccinated, awarded Jenner a medal, and at the request of Jenner, he released two English prisoners of war and permitted their return home. Napoleon remarked he could not “refuse anything to one of the greatest benefactors of mankind”.

Er, if someone you were at war with offered your troops an ‘experimental medicine against smallpox’, I doubt you’d take them up on the offer, much less give them a medal and start singing their praises. Napoleon, like Jenner, was a leading Freemason.

And yet again, we seem to have tripped over a piece of that ‘real history’ that they have tried so very hard to keep hidden from us the last 200 years, but which is now awkwardly poking into sight.

Here’s a quick snippet about that ultra-creepy worldwide ‘vaccination campaign’ from 1803 (is any of this sounding familiar?):

The Balmis Expedition, officially called the Real Expedición Filantrópica de la Vacuna (Royal Philanthropic Vaccine Expedition) was a Spanish healthcare mission that lasted from 1803 to 1806, led by Dr Francisco Javier de Balmis, which vaccinated millions of inhabitants of Spanish America and Asia against smallpox.

Francisco de Balmis bears all the hallmarks of yet another crypto-Jew, and I suspect he was also part of some secret society fraternity.

But as I’m writing this as I go, we’ll park him for now, and maybe come back to this another time. The point is – in the early 1800s, the world’s royalty and leading freemasons suddenly decided that ‘vaccinating’ the population against smallpox was a big priority for them all, and all worked together across their territories, and the world at large, to make that happen. I cant help but find that extremely strange.

Here’s the last thing for now, as this is becoming a monster post again.

Marie Antoinette’s mother was a woman called Maria Theresa, (1717-1780), ruler of Austria, Hungary, Bohemia, Galicia and quite a few other places, besides.

Maria Theresa keeps popping up in my research of ‘Real Jewish History’, and she has a Jewish courtier that I’m finding it very hard to track down in real time, who also keep figuring large in my research, by the name of Abraham Mendel Theben.

Abraham is the son of a prominent Jewish leader called Menachem Mendel; and the father of another mysterious Jewish leader called Jacob Mendel Theben, and his daughter marries the son of none other than Jonathan Eybshutz. Other children also marry into other interesting families, including the Oppenheimers, Wertheimers, (Frankist…) Beers and Mandels.

But strangely, I can find next to no information about him, or his family, which gives me a big red flag that something big is being hidden here.

Anyway, point is for this post that the Austrian monarch Maria Theresa was also really big on ‘innoculations’ and ‘vaccinations’.

And again, all this is happening 30 years before Master Mason Edward Jenner is meant to have ‘invented the smallpox vaccine.’ Snippet from Wikipedia:

After the smallpox epidemic of 1767, [Maria Theresa] promoted inoculation, which she had learned of through her correspondence with Maria Antonia, the Electress of Saxony (who in turn probably knew of it through her own correspondence with the Prussian king Frederick II).

After unsuccessfully inviting the Sutton brothers from England to introduce their technique in Austria, Maria Theresa obtained information on current practices of smallpox inoculation in England. She overrode the objections of Gerard van Swieten (who doubted the effectiveness of the technique), and ordered that it be tried on thirty-four newborn orphans and sixty-seven orphans between the ages of five and fourteen years.

The trial was successful, establishing that inoculation was effective in protecting against smallpox, and safe (in the case of the test subjects). The empress therefore ordered the construction of an inoculation centre, and had herself and two of her children inoculated.

She promoted inoculation in Austria by hosting a dinner for the first sixty-five inoculated children in Schönbrunn Palace, waiting on the children herself.

Maria Theresa was responsible for changing Austrian physicians’ negative view of inoculation.

So, lots of lots of historical ‘vaccine’ weirdness, with ‘smallpox’ playing the part of our modern ‘Covid 19’, as the excuse for leaders, royalty and freemasons to ‘force vaxx’ their populations.

There are a lot of angles to this that really aren’t making sense according to the history we’ve all been taught. Like, why would it take 250 years to ‘eradicate smallpox’ if successful vaccines were already being pioneered all over the place at the beginning of the 1500s, already?

Inoculation for smallpox appears to have started in China around the 1500s.Europe adopted this practice from Asia in the first half of the 18th century. In 1796 Edward Jenner introduced the modern smallpox vaccine. In 1967, the WHO intensified efforts to eliminate the disease.

Man, I’m having a serious sense of deja vu.

We’ve been here before, it seems, with global pandemics and ‘worldwide vaccination projects’ enthusiastically endorsed by the world’s elites, that begin in China and end with the WHO.

Ok, so I started checking out some of the ‘facts’ here. First of all, let’s start with Meyer Weisgal.

This comes from his Wikipedia page HERE:

Meyer Wolf Weisgal (1894 – 1977) was an American journalist, publisher, playwright, fundraiser, and Zionist activist who served as the President of the Weizmann Institute of Science and as the founding President of Beit Hatfutsot (the Jewish Diaspora Museum)….

In 1926, he published the first English translation of the works of Chaim Nachman Bialik. In 1932, he saw stage success with the play “The romance of a people”, and he continued to produce stage plays from then on. He conceived the opera-oratorioThe Eternal Road to alert the then-ignorant public to Hitler’s persecution of the Jews in 1937 Germany….

From 1921 until 1930, he was the first head of the Zionist Organization of America.

Through the World Zionist Organization he came in close contact with its chair Chaim Weizmann and acted as his personal representative since 1940. It’s very possible that ‘Act II ‘Moses’ Scene 20, Moses receives the Commandments /Dance around the golden calf’ is what we’re looking at, in the footage above.

This opera-oratio was apparently first produced in 1937 – four years after the ZOA is meant to have held their gathering of 125,000 in Chicago.

That suggests that opera footage from 1937 got ‘spliced’ with other footage from 1933.

Why would anyone go to all the trouble of doing this?

Meet the Sepulvedas

Ireland’s first head of state (and Yitzhak Herzog’s ‘chevruta’) was a man named Eamon de Valera.

If you had your cup of coffee this morning, you probably will have already recognised something strange:

But already, I’m scratching my head wondering how the son of someone who is OBVIOUSLY SPANISH becomes a leading Irish nationalist, ‘chevruta’ of Yitzhak Herzog, and head of his government and State.

His wife, Deborah, comes from another family you’ve probably heard of, the MEISELS.

She is meant to be the daughter of ‘Rabbi Chaim Meisels of Brody’ and Hendel Meyer – but again, this branch of the family tree is a total mess.

(I  have a hunch that ‘R Chaim Meisels of Brody’ is also ‘R Avraham Chaim Shor’, who strangely went missing out the family tree right around this time….we’ll see if that pans out.)

The reason I highlighted that bit in yellow, about Rabbi Shmuel Zvi Hersh Naftali Sirkis-Yaffe, is because that guy descends from the step-son of the TAZ, Aryeh Leib Sirkin (aka the ‘Shaagat Aryeh’).

We’ll come back to him another time, as there is a whole letter in Scholem’s book on Shabtai Tzvi, that describes the meeting of Aryeh Leib Sirkin with Shabtai Tzvi in Turkey – and how he and the Taz’s son were convinced of his ‘messiah-ness’.

I spent a whole day unpicking the Sabbatean descendants of Aryeh Leib Sirkin, and I will lay that out in detail soon.

But in the meantime, here is one of them.

And ‘Deborah Meisels’ marries Juan Isaac SEPULVEDA.

Deborah and Juan Isaac have a son called Juan Jose SEPULVEDA.

He marries a woman called Ana Maria – and her brother becomes the ruler of newly-conquered Chile, ‘Mint Master’ in perpetuity, and apparently makes a ton of money in the slave trade.

His name is:

OK, let’s take a look at another interesting SEPULVEDA, and then we’ll wrap this up.

Around the same time that the Catholic Sepulvedas were marrying the (pretend Jewish…) Wahls and Meisels back over in Poland, another member of the family was busy writing the case law that would justify Spanish enslavement of the whole, so-called, ‘New World’.

His name was:

Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda.

The Valladolid Debate was organized by King Charles V to give an answer to the question whether the indigenous peoples of the Americas were capable of self-governance, during the Spanish colonization of the Americas.

Sepúlveda defended the position of the colonists, although he had never been to America, claiming that some Amerindians were “natural slaves” as defined by Aristotle in Book I of Politics.

“Those whose condition is such that their function is the use of their bodies and nothing better can be expected of them, those, I say, are slaves of nature. It is better for them to be ruled thus.” He said these natives are “as children to parents, as women are to men, as cruel people are from mild people”….

According to Bartolomé de las Casas, God had power over all people in the world, including those who had never heard of Christianity. However, he thought that Christianity should be presented to natives as a religious option, not an obligation as Sepulveda believed.

 

 

Las Casas said that Amerindians ought to enjoy the same freedoms as any other people because, in his view, no Amerindians lacked the ability to rule themselves.

I got sent something a little while back that suggests that the whole ‘African slave trade’ in the USA is a red herring.

And that the REAL slave trade there was in the indigenous peoples of America – the Amerindians – many of whom were very dark skinned.

The tale was told that ‘the slaves’ all originated in Africa, so the slaves would never try to reclaim their land again, because they’d have no idea that it was really their land, legally.

That had been stolen from them by the Spanish conquerors of the so-called (and totally mis-named) ‘New World’.

I  haven’t bottomed all of that stuff out yet, so I’m just putting it here as something to check further into.

In the course of doing this post, I just tripped over some more massive information about how our ‘big rabbis’ in Poland, the banksters and ‘Chief Rabbis’ in the UK, and the people traffickers, merchants and ‘false messiahs’ all come from exactly the same, very small, gene pool.

I think I just found a whole bunch of ‘missing links’ and crypto Jews, which is really going to start to round out this picture, in real time.

Because eventually, all the lies come tumbling down.

The rod and the sceptre

I just had a fairly massive breakthrough in all the ‘false messiah family tree’ stuff.

I’ve been reading some of the family history books of a man called ‘Allen Goldenthal’, a self-confessed ‘Zadokite’ (Sadducee) and Karaite. who’s done a ton of work on his family tree, and also has ‘inherited memories’ from his ancestors that he can apparently access.

If that sounds weird, remember that epigenetics really is a thing, scientifically.

And also remember that as always, all this information has to continually be birur-ed and verified independently, to try and shake out more of the actual truth.

With those caveats out the way, lets dive in.

Very long story short, Goldenthal is a descendant of the Kahana clan, an ancient family of Kohens who were Sadducees (‘Zadokites’) in Second Temple times, before morphing into that anti-orthodox sect of ‘Karaites’ we’ve been writing about here.

Notably, Goldenthal includes some detailed family trees that pinpoints some of his Karaite ancestors intermarrying with apparently non-Jewish aristocracy, while others marry into leading families of ‘Rabbinic Jewry’, including one Kahana ancestor who marries Raisel Heller, the daughter of Yom Tov Lipmann Heller.

I am still picking through his books to do the birur, so for now let’s leave the personal stories alone – although many of them are eye-popping – and take a closer look at this family of ‘Kahana’ Sadduccee-Karaites with royal connections and a very pronounced heretical streak, who hate authentic Torah Judaism as codified by the Sages of the Gemara.

One of the claims that Goldenthal made, repeatedly, about his ancestors is that they embodied some prophecy, about the ‘rod and the sceptre’ being brought together.

The ‘rod’ refers to the priesthood, the rod of Aharon HaKohen, the first Kohen HaGadol.

The ‘sceptre’ refers to the monarchy, specifically, descent from King David.

I can’t find this prophecy in Jewish sources, I don’t know if it’s a Christian thing.

But according to Goldenthal, his family of ‘Kahanas’ bring together the ‘rod’ of the priesthood (i.e. descent from Kohanim) together with the ‘sceptre’ of being descended from King David, and as a result, they have been in the middle of so many disturbing episodes of Jewish history, particularly in relation to the ‘false messiahs’ that have plagued us since the time of Yoshki.

Now, let’s change gear, and go and take a look at some of the people Goldenthal identifies as being on that Sadducee-Karaite-Kahana family tree.

A key place to start is a guy called Hananya “Bustenai” ben Haninai, Exilarch & Gaon of Pumbeditha.

For those that don’t know, from the time the Jewish people were first exiled to Babylonia under Nevuchadnezzer, we were governed by our own lay Jewish leader, or ‘community king’, who was known as the Exilarch.

This Exilarch typically claimed descent from the House of King David – and a lot of them were very corrupt, spiritually.

Even when some of the Jews returned to build the Second Temple under Ezra and Nehemia, many Jews stayed behind in galut, and the office of ‘Exilarch’ continued until the 1100’s CE.

So.

What’s really interesting about this line of ‘Exilarchs’ is that they apparently intermarried over and over again with the exiled High Priests, including these Sadduccee-Karaite-Kahanas that Goldenthal says he is descended from.

Let’s take a closer look at ‘Hananya ‘Bustenai’ ben Haninai’s family tree, HERE.

Here’s a snippet of some of the stories told about him, translated from Hebrew Wikipedia, HERE:

Bustanai (d. 660/5) was the first Exilarch to be recognized by Arab rule. His birth and much of his life is surrounded by legend. As a token of appreciation, Caliph Ali gave him the daughter of the Persian king Yazdeger (Yazadagird III of Parthia ) for a slave. Eventually Bustanai married her.

His first wife, Adoa, a Davidic Jewish princess (relative), had two sons: Hisdai I & Baradai;

His 2nd wife, Dara or Azdadwar Izdundad or Izdadwar daughter of Zamaspdukht and King Shahrijar III of Persia. The Parthi princess, had three sons: (a) Hisdai II , (b) Nehemiah , and (c) Haninai [Hananiah], who was “exilarch” of Sura 689-694.

Let’s sum up as we go along, as there is a lot of astounding ground to cover here.

Exilarch Bustainai had two wives.

One of them was Jewish – Adoa – and one of them was not.

The non-Jewish wife was either Dara, the daughter of King Charlemagne of the Holy Roman Empire, or she was Izdundad, a Persian princess.

Either way, there was a massive disagreement about whether Bustainai converted this wife to Judaism (if he was a Karaite, he probably wouldn’t have bothered, as they believe Jewish descent occurs via the father.)

We will come back to Bustainai’s non-Jewish wife and children another time, there are a lot of big secrets hiding out there.

But in the meantime, I want to draw your attention to another big debate going on,  about how Bustainai could claim to ALSO be a Kohen descended from the High Priests, and ALSO claim to be descended from King David.

HERE‘s a snippet of the discussion going on on Geni, about how all that actually is meant to be working. I’ll sum up the main point afterwards, don’t worry if you lose the thread here.

There is a major ambiguity in the paternity/maternity of Haninai al-Nehar Pekkod. In this profile he is the son of Hananya “Bustenai” ben Haninai, Exilarch & Gaon of Pumbeditha and Princess Adai binte Assad Bin Hashim which would make his sons part of the Davidic-Exilarch line.

BUT there is also Chanania bar Chaninai HaKohen who is the son of Chaninai Achunai bar Hunai HaKohen and Adda (or Addoi) daughter of Bustenai making him a Cohen. So in the first instance he is the Davidic son of Bustenai and his spouse Adai, and in the second he is the Cohanic son of Bustenai’s daughter Adoi and her HaCohen spouse.

If you follow the descending lines you will see they both lead to Natronai bar Hillay: 1) Naṭronay bar Hilay (Hillel), Gaon of Sura and 2) Natronai bar Hilay HaKohen, Gaon of Sura In the first profile there is no Cahonic title, while in the second he is HaKohen. This is an important point for those studying the descending lines of Bustenai.

Another user basically explains that:

It was suggested very recently by someone in this discussion, that this paternal lineage is indeed that of kohanim, and that these people are one and the same and this lineage of gaonim although not formally of the House of David, still uses this title “inherited” from a mother to maintain their prestige among the populous.

To sum this up, this chain of ‘gaonim’ descend from the Exilarchs of the House of King David only via their mother, but are actually Sadducee-Karaite-Kohanim.

So far, Goldenthal’s claims stand up.

Here’s why all this matters: This line of people lead to pretty much all the interesting people I’ve been writing about here on the blog, and also seem to have produced all the ‘false messiahs’ we’ve also been writing about here on the blog, in the so-called ‘Ashkenazi’ world.

THAT is why they were so keen to hang on to their ‘yichus’ of descending from the House of David, even though it was just via their mothers, because that is a pre-requisite to be Moshiach, and Kohanim – even very powerful Kohanim who repeatedly intermarry with non-Jewish aristocracy and place their scions in the position of ‘Chief Rabbi’ down the centuries – just can’t claim.

So, I start scrolling forward to see who this ‘Bustenai’ guy’s descendants are, and basically, we hit the jackpot here.

Let’s list some of the descendants you have heard of, and also some that you haven’t heard of:

Rabbenu Gershom (960-1040)

The REBAN, R’ Eliezer ben Natan (1090-1170)

And in the exact same bit of that family tree, we have someone called ‘R Yehuda ben Moshe HaKohen’, or ‘SIRE LEONTIN’, the grand-dad of the REBANs wife.

Here’s more about this ‘Sire Leontin’ and his family:

The Radhanites (al-Rādhāniyya) were Jewish [Qaraite and Rabbinic] merchants believed to have originated in the ninth century in the region of Rādhān, a district in southern Iraq. Their trade routes… stretched from China to the Iberian Peninsula…

[T]he Radhanites knew six languages and traded in slaves, silk, furs, and swords, as well as musk, aloe wood, camphor, and cinnamon.

You got that, that we are dealing with ‘Kohen Karaites’ here, who were trading slaves, amongst other things, and almost certainly were doing business with the Khazars?

We already discussed the links between the Karaites, who were intermarrying with the fake ‘Al-Kohen’ Khazar kings HERE, HERE and HERE.

Now we have to ask: were luminaries like Rabbenu Gershom (who outlawed kitniyot for the Ashkenazim, despite apparently being a Persian!!) a secret Karaite too?

The mind boggles.

Let’s continue, there’s way more.

Click forward a bit from the REBAN and his Karaite in-laws, and we find that the REBAN’s daughter marries one ‘R Elyakim ben Yehuda’.

Their immediate descendants include a bunch of French Tosafists, including the Baal HaTurim:

But the links are deliberately broken between this group of ‘Karaite’ descendants and the REMA and his family on Geni.

Because they don’t want you and me knowing that the same very small group of Sadducee-Karaite-fake-Kohanim have been exclusively running the show in the Jewish world for more than 2,000 years.

Remember, we were all scratching our heads wondering how the REMA could have married Golda, whose father Shalom Shakna Kahana was a Karaite?

Well…. now we’re starting to figure more things out, here.

And our ‘historians’ knew this, and have deliberately lied about it repeatedly, telling us ridiculous stories about how he was just some ‘merchant’ from a Sabbatean family.

You’ll notice that the Alter Rebbe’s family is close mishpocha to Jacob Frank.

We already knew that from previous detective work, but it’s good to see it set out here, and also reinforces how it could be that the 4th Rebbe of Chabad could marry the grand-daughter of the notorious Jacob Frank.

I scroll down a bit more, and I finally get to a paternal line for Jacob Frank, that looks like this:

‘Yehuda Leib of Prossnitz’ was a very famous Sabbatian false messiah, who counted R Meir Eisenstadt, the ‘Ponim Meir’, and Jonathan Eybshutz amongst his very closest Sabbatean students.

Judah Leib was widely credited with magical practices connected with his attempts to bring to an end the dominion of *Samael and is reported to have sacrificed a chicken as a kind of bribe to the unclean powers.

The facts concerning this and his promise to reveal the Shekhinah to some of his followers, including Eisenstadt, are shrouded in legend, but they contain some kernel of historical truth.

Since by then he was widely considered by his foes to be a sorcerer, Eisenstadt left him and Prossnitz was put under a ban by the rabbinical court and sentenced to exile for three years; however, he was allowed to return after several months.

He persisted at the head of a secret Shabbatean group in Prossnitz, again working as a children’s teacher. Maintaining connections with other Shabbateans, in 1724 he tried to obtain the appointment of one of his closest followers, R. Sender, to the rabbinate of Mannheim…

Jonathan *Eybeschuetz, a pupil of Meir Eisenstadt in Prossnitz for several years, is said to have studied secretly with Judah Leib, who was then propagating teachings close to the radical wing of Shabbateanism.

WHAT?!?!?!?

THIS is Jacob Frank’s father?!?!?!?

Of course, it ties in perfectly with everything else we’ve learnt, and it makes perfect sense, but what shocks me the most is the level of cover-up we are dealing with here.

Jonathan Eybshutz and the Meir Panim were buddying around with JACOB FRANK’S FATHER, and of course, Jacob Frank spring-boarded off his father’s Sabbatean ‘false messiah-ness’ to even lower depths of depravity.

It all makes perfect sense now, also including how Jacob Frank could have married the daughter of another Sabbatean sorcerer, Samuel Chaim Falk, and how Jonathan Eybshutz’s son Wolf would be a Frankist / rival false messiah to Jacob Frank.

Sigh.

Just think, how our ‘rabbis’ and historians, religious and secular, have been so falsifying real Jewish history for the last 250…350…500…2,000 years.

Also, pay attention how this family of ‘Exilarch-Karaite-Kohanim’ are the source of EVERY SINGLE FALSE MESSIAH WE’VE HAD TO DEAL WITH, splintering and weakening the Jewish people from within.

And that is still happening today, BTW.

I will stop there for now, but I guarantee you I can also fit Shabtai HaKohen SHACH / Shabtai Tzvi easily into this picture.

And a lot of other pieces of the puzzle are starting to move more into place.

But I don’t want to explode your brains – or mine – so, we’ll let all this sink in a bit more before seeing what other revelations we kind find in that ‘Kahana’ family tree.

It sure is nice to have all the research start to be verified like this, tho, I have to say.

We really are being ruled by these Sadduccee-Karaite-Sabbatean-Frankists….

And after 2,000+ years of this, it’s time that finally changed.

Reb Zushya and a dilemma

For a long time, me and my husband struggled with the concept of the ‘ideal way to serve Hashem’.

We were reading chassidic stories about Tzaddikim, reading biographies of Lithuanian ‘Godols’, reading the works of people like R’ Eliyahu Dessler, and in the middle of all that, one thing was clear:

No-one was writing books about real people trying to serve Hashem sincerely in a real way, including all of life’s inevitable ups and downs.

Unfortunately, we only got to that conclusion much later in the process.

And in the meantime, we tried so hard to follow this ‘pretend perfect’ religious path that was set out for us, that my husband quit his job to learn Torah and ‘pray for parnassa’ six hours a day.

Like his teacher was encouraging him to do.

Long story short, we ran out of money after about two months, and ended up having to sell our house.

Of course we did.

For a few years after that happened, I struggled with so much anger and bitterness and confusion, especially about the people who encouraged us to do all that.

But at this stage, I’m realising that hard as it was to go through that experience, it’s given me a very deep insight in to what I now call ‘fake emuna’.

And now that I’ve been knee-deep in all the false ideologies, and ‘not quite right’ religious ideas that sound theoretically ok, or great!!! even – but which just don’t work for real people leading real lives, I’m seeing that was a necessary part of this learning process.

When I first started reading the books about Rabbi Nachman of Breslov’s life, I was immediately struck by how ‘real’ they were.

Rabbi Nachman also struggled with difficult feelings and emotions.

His discussions with his family about going to Israel for a long trip were portrayed in stark colours, with no candy-coating the worry and fears his wife had about the whole enterprise.

In short, there weren’t a lot of ‘open miracles’ and ‘big Tzaddik’ stuff in the books.

But Rav Natan summed it up so nicely when he said that Rebbe Nachman’s biggest miracle was Rav Natan himself – i.e. his ability to have a real relationship with God, and to keep working on overcoming his bad middot, by following Rabbenu’s advice.

At this stage, it seems Rabbenu was pretty much the only ‘Tzaddik’ of that time who encouraged his students to portray him in a real, truthful light.

And that is at least part of why I mostly can’t stand to read standard ‘gadol biographies’ these days, and why when I hit Breslov, it was like a deep draught of water for a very thirsty soul.

And it still is.

At least, Rav Berland’s bit of it.

So now, what does all this have to do with R’ Zushia of Annipoli?

Before we get into that, let me just state that none of this is black-or-white. That’s a false paradigm, designed to push everyone into corners fighting for ideas and principles that are unrealistic and untruthful. At this stage, I still believe R’ Zushia was probably a big tzaddik – until and unless I get new information that clearly shows that’s not the case.

BUT.

He was also a real person.

Like all these ‘tzaddikim’ actually were and are.

And real people struggle all the time to do the right thing, and to serve God, even if that is what they sincerely want to be doing with themselves.

So, a few days ago, I decided to take a closer look at the Noam Elimelech and Rav Zushia, as part of my ongoing effort to figure out what was really going on in the Jewish world 200 years ago.

The first stop was the GENI page for Rav Zushia, which you can see for yourselves HERE.

That gave me Rav Zushia’s ‘official’ name, R’ Meshullam Zusia Lipman, of Annipol, who lived between 1718-1800.

Long story short, again, two clicks later I realised that both Rav Zushia and the Noam Elimelech appear to be brothers, or possibly nephews, of the notorious Jacob Frank.

Of course, that’s not written there on Geni:

But I’ve been poring over these names for so long now, they are engraved in my brain.

And when the name ‘MARGOLA SHOR / FRANKEL-HALPERN’ popped up as the ‘grandma’ in the tree of Rav Zushia and the Noam Elimelech, that immediately tripped off the JACOB FRANK alert.

The Shor / Halprin / Heilprin /Halpern family tree is a deliberate mess, to make it so hard to track all this down.

But I’ve been doing a lot of work on this, scribbling down more and more family trees as I go, and while I’m still not sure which names are ‘real’ and which names are the ‘aliases’, I can tell you for sure, that Reb Zushia and the Noam Elimelech are VERY close family to Jacob Frank, and probably even his brothers.

Again, remember the wider context to all this.

The BESHT came to ‘sweeten’ all those pockets of Shabtai Tzvi / SHACH’s followers, which were far more widespread and embedded in ‘Jewish royalty’ than anyone cares to admit.

Most, if not all, of the BESHT’s disciples came directly from strong, secretly-Sabbatean families.

The Baal Shem Tov managed to ‘sweeten’ a great deal with his teachings, and to bring the mystical back into normative Judaism in a ‘kosher’ way, after what happened with Shabtai Tzvi / SHACH’s perversion of very deep kabbalistic teachings.

BUT.

He didn’t manage to sweeten all the Sabbateans.

And Jacob Frank (and Jonathan Eybshutz…) were still beavering away, trying to forge an even more disgusting version of Sabbatean beliefs, that ultimately became what we know as ‘Frankism’.

But Sabbatean-Frankists and the BESHTs disciples were effectively the same people, at the beginning of the birur process.

Just some went to the side of ‘good’, while others didn’t.

(Let’s park the whole argument about chassidut vs mitnagdim for now. I have come to the conclusion that the followers on all sides of that debate were probably secret Sabbateans, or at least, carrying on from where Shabtai Tzvi / SHACH left off, and that the argument was more about WHICH PATH OF ‘CHASSIDUT’ TO TAKE, which person to follow after, and not ‘chassid vs mitnag’, as we’ve all been led to believe.)

It’s not really at all surprising that a ‘R Zushia’ and a ‘Noam Elimelech’ could actually be the brothers of Jacob Frank.

But once I saw that, I started to wonder a lot more about all the stories we’re told about R Zushia in particular – stories that personally, I used to really love.

Like THIS one, about how Reb Zushia would never ask his servants to feed him directly, but would also ask Hashem to provide, while the servants brought in the food and drink.

One time, his servants decided to teach him a lesson, that it was really them who was bringing him the food, so they pretended not to hear him, when he walked around saying ‘Zushia is hungry’.

Here is what happened next:

The visitor arrived at the Rebbe Reb Zushia’s home in time to hear him say, “Ribono shel Olam! Master of the World! Zushia is very hungry. Please prepare his meal for him.”

It wasn’t the first time, but the servants were sticking to their plan, standing around, waiting for the Rebbe Reb Zushia to ask directly. The visitor, however, heard the Rebbe Reb Zushia and walked right into the Rebbe’s room, placing the cake and drink on the table.

On the one hand… it’s a story with a very important moral about really trusting in Hashem alone.

On the other…

I went over to R’ Zushia’s Hebrew Wikipedia page, HERE, which is usually where you learn way more real details than the ‘airbrushed’ and sanitized English versions.

There, I learnt that R’ Zushia and the Noam Elimelech actually came from a very wealthy, landowning family.

They weren’t the ‘poor peasants’ I thought they were.

And I also learnt that R’ Zushia was married twice, because apparently his first wife divorced him.

Snippet:

Married twice. The name of his first wife is unknown and from whom he divorced and from whom he had his first son. From his second wife Henia he had another son and daughter.

And then I started trying to picture the R’ Zushia story, quoted above, in the realm of a real relationship, with a real wife.

Zushia is hungry!!

(Can’t Zushia fix himself an omelet, once a while? Does Zushia ever thank the person who actually prepared the food directly, or does he always address his thanks straight to the Creator? Does Zushia ever bring his wife a cup of tea, or a glass of water?)

You see what I mean, about this yawning chasm between ‘the ideal’ and ‘reality’?

And especially when you go with the teaching of Rav Berland and his student Rav Arush, that the ‘real you’ is the one that comes out at home, in your marriage, and how you treat your wife and children.

Sigh.

No wonder R’ Zushia got divorced.

There is another aspect to this story, that I’m still feeling out.

Whenever these descendants of the SHOR family show up, there are always multiple names, partial and misleading biographies, and false dates being used, to try and blur the links between the people that literally became all our rebbes and ‘gadols’ and the Sabbatean-Frankists.

For example, according to the Hebrew Wikipedia page, Reb Zushia’s grave was initially left unnamed…. It was only later on that the name ‘R Zushia’ actually appeared on his headstone.

Translated snippet:

At first it read: “This is where the Tzaddik was buried… God works in love and rejoices in the torment of many,”he said. The tombstone was later re-written with the inscription “Rabbi R. Zosha”.

Whenever gravestones get ‘overwritten’ like this, that always draws my attention.

Once I realised that R’ Zushia’s first name was ‘Meshulam’, that reminded me of another famous ‘Meshulam’ who lived at the same time and who also descends from the same SHORs, and who also got divorced (actually more than once…)

That is R’ Meshulam Igra.

Geni shows Meshulam Igra’s maternal great-grandma was meant to be YENTA SHOR.

YENTA SHOR is apparently the sister of (but could also be an alias for) MARGOLA SHOR, the mother of Jacob Frank.

This screenshot shows how Margola SHOR is the paternal great-grandma of Reb Zushia of Annipoli.

Again, bear in mind so much of this is distorted.

EG, Reb Zushia is meant to have been born in 1718, while his ‘great-uncle’ Jacob Frank was only born nine years later, in 1726. Clearly, those dates don’t add up.

Meshulam Igra was succeeded in the rabbinate of Pressburg by the Chatam Sofer.

The Chatam Sofer was the main disciple of R’ Pinchas of Horowitz, brother of Shmuel Shmelke of Nikolsburg.

There is a bunch of mighty strange stuff going around the family trees of these two brothers, R’ Pinchas and Shmuel Shmelke.

I’ve been trying to pin it down for months and months, but it seems to me that these brothers may have a number of ‘aliases’ within Jewish history, possibly even including R’ Zushia and the Noam Elimelech (!) And I have a hunch this is also connected to the GRA’s family tree, somehow.

I am still trying to disentangle the facts from the fiction, but in some ways there is a lot of overlap with the stories, and there is so much funny stuff going on with dates and relatives, that something dodgy is definitely going on.

It’s not black-and-white, not at all.

Sabbatean-Frankist families are ruling the roost all over the place, but the question is:

Who made teshuva, and who didn’t?

Because yichus is meaningless, and God wants our hearts and our yearnings to be holy, and our good deeds and our prayers to change.

But one thing I can tell you:

They have lied to us about everything to do with ‘real Jewish history’ over the last 400 years, and probably, way beyond that too.

And for us to move forward in a healthy way as a people, all these lies about ‘pretend perfect Tzaddikim’ with some big skeletons in their closets have to stop.

Whitewashing Yoshki

This is going to be a long post.

But it seems we can’t really dodge the issue of who Jesus actually was, how he got so popular, who his followers really were, and the modus operandi the xtians used to subvert Torah and the Jewish community.

Before we begin, I have to stress again that THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN.

How did the original Erev Rav manage to persuade a whole bunch of Jews – who had just seen the open revelation of Hashem at Mount Sinai!!! – to give up on all that, and on the Torah, to start worshipping a golden calf?

Black magic ‘miracles’ were part of the problem, right from the start.

Evil Micah was one of the Jewish babies that the Egyptians were taking from their mothers, and plastering into the walls. When Moshe asked how a merciful God could allow such a thing to happen, Hashem told him to rescue one of those babies (who were actually very ‘evil’ souls, who need to go through a lot of tikkunim and harsh suffering in order to be rectified), and to see what sort of person he grew up to be.

That person was Micah.

When Moshe Rabbenu raised the bones of Yosef from the Nile, where the Egyptians had sunk his casket as part of their ‘black magic’ to ensure that the Jews would never leave Mitzraim, he threw a placket with the words ‘aleh shor’ (‘rise, ox’) into the water, and Yosef’s bones rose to the surface so the Jews could take him out of Egypt when they left.

Micah stole that placket.

When Janus and Jambrus, leaders of the Erev Rav, relatives of Bilaam (and some say also descendants of another world-class sorcerer, Lavan) made the golden calf, they killed anyone who tried to stand up to them.

That’s how Hur died.

Aaron then tried to find a way to placate this violent mob so they wouldn’t kill him, too, and went along with their plan to create a golden calf, hoping it would buy enough time for Moshe Rabbenu to return, and take charge.

It takes a long time to make a golden calf derech hateva, without using sorcery.

Especially in the middle of the desert, 3, 333 years ago.

But what happened? Evil Micah snuck up to where the gold jewellery was all being melted down – and threw in the placket with the words ‘aleh shor’.

Hey presto, a magnificent golden calf instantly formed, that could even move around under its own steam.

Wow!

What a ‘miracle’! What an obvious ‘sign’ that Hashem Himself must want the Israelites to be worshipping the golden calf, because look at that thing!!

THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN.

The evildoers in our midst, the ‘Erev Rav’ in our midst, have always used black magic, and subverted the holy names of Hashem, and the deepest wisdom of the kabbalah for their own, evil, Satanic ends.

There are two ways you get ‘supernatural miracles’.

One way, is where you spend 60 years in the desert doing hitbodedut all day long, without any miracles happening, while you work on overcoming your bad middot and have a lot of self-sacrifice, mesirut nefesh, to try to serve God properly.

You have no money, a ton of shame and humiliation, no-one is running after you calling you ‘rebbe’; there are no Presidents of the United States who are officially celebrating your birthday, no politicians lining up to call on you, or oligarchs trying to give you $10 million in cash to build a new yeshiva.

This is the path of our true tzaddikim like Moshe Rabbenu.

Only after that 60 years in the desert, or those 12 years living in a cave, spending your days buried up to your neck in mud, while you spend every moment still trying to serve God amidst the most difficult hardship, do you get to the stage of being a real ‘Tzaddik’.

The sort of Tzaddik that can work open miracles via their prayers, and via their own self-sacrifice and suffering.

Very few people can ever really attain this sort of level.

We are talking about a handful of people throughout the whole of history, who could really ‘perform miracles’ with this level of true kedusha.

But don’t worry!

Because for everyone else, there’s a ton of ‘black magic’ shortcuts for performing open miracles.

And this is where we swing back around to Yoshki, and the Erev Rav, and the Sabbatean-Frankists who are still going strong in our communities today.

How did Jesus get such a following amongst the Jewish people?

He went to Egypt, learnt black magic there, and started doing a bunch of ‘open miracles’ to persuade the masses he was the real deal.

And alongside that, he also told people what they wanted to hear, and made them ‘feel good’ about themselves, so they wouldn’t have to worry too much about acknowledging their bad middot or having to do the very hard work of really rectifying their souls.

Leave it all to me!  Yoshki told them.

Go back to polishing buttons and watching the football game! All you have to do is to believe that I’m really God incarnate [chas v’halila a billion times] and everything else is taken care of! You can lie, cheat, murder, rape, pillage – whatever you want. But just believe in me, and give me and my institutions lots of charity, and you’re still getting to Heaven!

You can see how that would appeal to the masses.

Who wants a ‘heavy’ religion where you have to really take responsibility for fixing your innumerable flaws and where you have to serve Hashem with tremendous mesirut nefesh, and where you are the ‘mat’ that everyone else wipes their feet on?

It’s way more fun to get invited to the White House, and to hang out with Putin, and to have oligarchs paying you millions and billions for reasons that are still not so obvious to everyone else…

I am still in the process of trying to ‘unpick’ who the historical Jesus really was.

It’s complicated by the fact that there seems to have been two ‘waves’ of early xtianity, and also, by the fact that both the xtian world AND THE JEWISH WORLD have been censoring and distorting what really happened.

But in the rest of this post, I wanted to lay out what we know so far, to try to put Yoshki back into his authentic Jewish context, so we can understand that ‘whitewashing Jesus’ is akin to ‘whitewashing Hitler’, another charismatic leader with Jewish blood who was into the occult and hated authentic Torah Judaism and ‘rabbiners’ with a passion.

Then in part 2, we’ll take a closer look at what Ariel Cohen Callo – disciple of R’ Yitzhak Ginsburg – is upto, with his dangerous ‘pidyon haben’ nonsense for rehabilitating Yoshki.

(That’s the bit that is really disturbing me about all this, but we’ll set all that out in the next post, BH.)

So, where is Jesus mentioned in authentic Jewish sources?

Let’s start with Sanhedrin 43a.

Except….If you are reading most versions of the Gemara, including the Artscroll Schottenstein Daf Yomi edition that nearly every English-speaker users to learn Gemara….you won’t find the information I’m going to bring below, because it’s been censored out of the Talmud.

This section of Sanhedrin is discussing the legal procedures that have to be followed before a capital punishment case, where the Sanhedrin would execute someone by the four methods of stoning, beheading, strangling or burning. I highly recommend you go and read it, because it clearly shows that unlike today’s ‘kangaroo courts’ and ‘kangaroo beit dins’, the Tannaim of the Gemara followed some very strict halachic procedures, when trying cases.

Let’s bring some of what the Mishna says in Sanhedrin 43a, for context, then we’ll add in the part that was censored out, that relates specifically to Yoshki.

The Mishnah resumes its account of the procedure that preceded the execution:

If they found a reason to acquit him, they would acquit him; but if not, he goes out to be stoned. A proclamation would be called out before him, worded in the following way: “So-and-so the son of So-and-so is being taken out to be stoned, for he has transgressed such-and-such a prohibition, and So-and-so are his witnesses. Whoever knows any grounds for his acquittal, let him come forward and present them.

This would usually occur just before the execution, when everyone was gathered together to watch the excitement (some things never change…)

But then the Gemara starts mentioning a mysterious case involving an ‘anonymous’ unspecified someone where things were done differently, that reads like this in the censored Artscoll edition:

The Gemara questions:

Is it only ‘before him’, as the condemned walks to his execution, that such a proclamation is called out, and not some days in advance of this?

No further discussion of this matter is recorded in the Gemara. [See footnote 37].

Except, that’s not true.

Footnote 37 in Artscroll says this:

The Vilna edition of the Talmud is missing the text that follows this question; for a full rendition of the missing text, see Chesronos HaShas.

Chesronos HaShas is all the different bits of the Talmud that was taken out by xtian censors, and the people who were working for them like Jonathan Eybshutz (as covered HERE).

It’s very hard to use (at least for me…), but we have it.

As a sorcerer with disciples

Sanhedrin 43a relates the trial and execution of Jesus and his five disciples. 

Here, Jesus is a sorcerer who has enticed other Jews to apostasy. A herald is sent to call for witnesses in his favour for forty days before his execution. No one comes forth and in the end he is stoned and hanged on the Eve of Passover. His five disciples, named Matai, Nekai, Netzer, Buni, and Todah are then tried. Word play is made on each of their names, and they are executed. It is mentioned that leniency could not be applied because of Jesus’ influence with the royal government (malkhut).

Dafka, it was the opposite!

It was dafka BECAUSE of Jesus’ influence with the ruling government that a herald was sent out a full 40 days before his execution, as opposed to just being sent out the day of his execution, like they did for everyone else.

The Sages were so concerned about Jesus’ cosy contacts with the government / king being such a problem for them, if they tried to try him for his crimes, they gave him a full 40 days to bring witnesses that could ‘acquit’ him.

You see, how everything is always twisted around by these xtians and the Yoshki whitewashers in our own communities?

Who was the king in Israel, at the time all this was going on with the real, historical Jesus?

One of my readers summed it up nicely, so I’m going to use his words, then bring the sources that back up his statements.

[The original] Yeshu lived in the time of Shimon ben Shetach, who had Yoshke killed for being a false moshiach and utilizing the Shem haMeforesh.

Basically, the tract Toldot Yeshu is correct. That is the real, historical Jesus and that is all about what he did.

Then his followers, called ‘minim’ in the Gemora started to viciously lash back at the Perushim, the Sages, and later began the Hebrew/Christian cult we know of from history.

They were the face of Christianity until:

a) Paul was sent on his mission by the chachamim to get Christianity derailed from just being an offshoot of Judaism and

b) Until the Roman nobility under Arrius Piso decided to use the story to write the New Testament and make Roman Catholicism the usurper of the Hebrew/Christian Yoshke cult and turn it into the Church of Rome under Constantine.

We’ll get to the stuff about Paul and Peter another time. Maybe.

In the meantime, let’s first take a look at Shimon ben Shetach, (139 BCE – 38 BCE). He was the ‘av beit din’ zug, or ‘pair’ with the nasi Yehuda Ibn Tabbai.

You find them in Pirkey Avot in Chapter 1, Mishnah 8.

First, let’s understand a bit more about what these zugot were, and their links to the Sanhedrin. The following comes from HERE:

[Shimon ben Shetach] inherited the power of the Grand Assembly Sanhedrin (Sanhedrin) — a council consisting of 71 elders. There were two sages heading up the Sanhedrin: the Nasi (chairman) and his deputy, av Beit Din (chief Justice). These two leaders were called zug (couple).

The Zugot period was marked by a struggle between Hellenists (Jews who adopted Greek culture) and those who remained faithful to the laws of the Torah — a struggle that became acute as a civil war.

Shimon ben Shetach and Yehuda Ibn Tabbai were preceded by the ‘zug’ of Yehoshua ben Perachya and Nitai HaArbeli.

Yehoshua ben Perachya is known as the ‘rebbe’ of Jesus, who was one of his students who went astray. More on that in a moment.

Shimon ben Shetach’s sister, Salome / ShlomTzion, was married to the hellenistic Hashmonean King of that time period, called Alexander Yannai.

And he really didn’t like the Sages, and their ‘old-fashioned’ Torah and halachot.

If you look in Sanhedrin 19b, it recounts how one of King Yannai’s slaves killed someone, and Shimon ben Shetach summoned the King to appear before the Beit Din.

Shimon ben Shetach was the only rabbi in the Great Sanhedrin who wasn’t scared to sit in judgment on King Yannai – but things didn’t end well. In the Talmud, it says that Shimon ben Shetach basically cursed his colleagues for being cowards, and then:

Immediately the angel Gavriel came, knocked them to the ground, and they died.

Alexander Jannaeus was the third son of John Hyrcanus by his second wife.

When Aristobulus I… died after a reign of one year…Alexander, as the oldest living brother, had the right not only to the throne, but also to Salome, the widow of his deceased brother, who had died childless; and, although she was thirteen years older than him, he married her in accordance with the Jewish law of Levirate Marriage. 

Also this:

Like his father, Alexander also served as the high priest. This raised the ire of the religious authorities who insisted that these two offices should not be combined. According to the Talmud, Yannai was a questionable desecrated priest (rumour had it that his mother was captured in Modiin and violated) and, in the opinion of the Pharisees, was not allowed to serve in the temple.

This infuriated the king and he sided with the Sadducees who defended him. This incident led the king to turn against the Pharisees and he persecuted them until his death.

Alexander Yannai was quite the despot.

Later on his career, he sparked a number of civil wars within Israel. One time, as the ‘Kohen HaGadol’ he was meant to be pouring the water libation in the Temple onto the altar, but he mocked the ceremony by deliberately pouring the water at his feet.

The crowd of Jews who were in the Temple for Succot got so upset with him they pelted the King with their etrogs and called him the son of a ‘captive woman’, i.e. unfit to be the Kohen HaGadol. In return, he slaughtered 6,000 of them.

That then lead to something called the ‘Judaean Civil War’, where thousands of simple Jews revolted against their corrupt, Sadducean King.

That also didn’t end well. Thousands of people died, in horrible ways:

Jannaeus… brought the surviving rebels back to Jerusalem where he had eight hundred Jews, primarily Pharisees, crucified.

Before their deaths, Alexander had the rebels’ wives and children executed before their eyes as Jannaeus ate with his concubines. 

Nice guy…

So, Alexander Yannai was on a rampage against the Sages of the Sanhedrin, who were trying to uphold the Torah and its laws.

Josephus on the one hand and rabbinic sources on the other record a number of clashes between Yannai and the Pharisees (e.g., Ant., 13:372–383; Kid. 66a; Sot. 47a; Sanh. 19a).

However, according to Josephus (Ant., 13:400–404), on his death bed the king advised his wife to yield a certain amount of power to them, so that she could govern with no problems.

Shimon ben Shetach was hidden and protected by his sister, Queen ShlomTzion.

But the other Sages, including Yehoshua ben Perachya, fled Israel to Alexandria, in Egypt, together with his student, ‘Yeshua HaNotzri’ = Jesus. Until Shimon ben Shetach sent his rebbe a note that it was safe to return.

On their return trip they stopped at an inn, whose hostess treated Rabbi Yehoshua ben Perachya with great respect. Yehoshua ben Perachya complemented her to his students saying how nice the innkeeper was, in reference to her hospitality and actions.

Yeshu taking the remark at face value, responded how it was not true since her eyes were round. Yehoshua ben Perachya was startled how one of his main students was not Shomer Anyim and looked at women, let alone how Yeshu could bring himself to say such a thing in public and before his teacher.

In a way, this was a sign of bigger spiritual descents that Yeshu must have gone through while in Egypt. Due to this incident, Yehoshua ben Perachya excommunicated Yeshu, using a shofar to solidify the severance.

As time went by Yeshu descended lower and lower, gathering around him ignorant people whom he attracted through the ‘miracles’ he performed via the use of practical Kabbalah and witchcraft.

Yeshu caused many of his followers to sin and scoff at the authority of the Sages. At one point Yehoshua ben Perachya approached his former student and asked him to repent.

Yeshu refused quoting a teaching that he had heard from Yehoshua ben Prachya himself; that one who sins and causes others to sin, is no longer given the opportunity to repent.

Two more things, then we’ll stop here for today.

  1. There is strong evidence to suggest that Sadducees = Karaites = “Jewish Christians.”

Now I’m re-reading this (which was written from the Karaite perspective), it’s really jumping out to me that it’s saying there was a split between the zug of Shimon ben Shetach, the ABD, and ‘Ben Tabbai’ – who is the Yehudah Ben Tabbai who was the nasi.

And the students of ‘Ben Tabbai’ became the Karaites…

I think I need to see if I can find out more about Yehuda Ben Tabbai.

And second thing to note, is that at the time Shimon ben Shetach moved against Yoshki and his disciples, there was A LOT of witchcraft and black magic going on in Eretz Yisrael.

There’s an interesting discussion on the MiYodeya site HERE, that covers quite a bit of ground re: Shimon ben Shetach’s capture and subsequent execution of a large coven of witches.

What’s particularly interesting, is that this story comes as part of Rashi’s comments to Sanhedrin 44b – immediately after we had that censored discussion of how Yoshki misled people, used witchcraft, and had tight links with the malchut  – i.e. the murderous Sadducee King Alexander Jannai.

It once happened that an unscrupulous Jewish tax-farmer and a great scholar died on the same day and in the same place.

All the people assembled to attend the burial of the great scholar; at the same time the relatives of the tax-farmer brought his bier for burial. However, enemies attacked the cortège, so they all dropped the biers and ran for their lives. One student however stayed there guarding the body of his rabbi.

Some time later the town dignitaries returned to resume the burial of the great scholar, but the biers of the rabbi and the tax-farmer somehow got exchanged despite the vociferous protests of the student.

Thus it came about that the relatives of the tax-farmer buried the great rabbi, which greatly distressed the rabbi’s student; nor could he explain to himself what great sin had caused the one to be buried in such a shameful way and what great merit in the other had brought about his interment with such honour.

His rabbi appeared to him in a dream and told him not to be distressed.

“Come and let me show you how greatly I am honoured in paradise and let me also show you that man in hell with the hinges of the gates of hell turning through his ears. Once I heard people calumniating the sages and did not protest (and that is why I was punished); he once prepared a banquet in honour of a city dignitary who did not show up, and he distributed the food to the poor (and that is why he was rewarded).”

The student asked how long the poor man was doomed to suffer this grievous torment.

“Until Shim’on ben-Shataĥ dies,” was the reply, “who will then replace him!” “Why?” asked the student;

“Because there are Jewish women in Ashkelon who practice witchcraft and he does not subject them to the rigours of the law.”

The following day the student related his dream to Shim’on ben-Shataĥ.

The latter assembled eighty tall young men and distributed to each of them a jar with a cloak wrapped up inside (it was a rainy day).

He also told them to make sure that they were always eighty in number. “When you come inside,” he said, “one of you must raise his jar from the ground; from that moment the witches will have no further hold over you; if that does not work then we can never beat them.”

Shim’on ben-Shataĥ went into the witches’ coven and left the young men outside.

When the witches asked him who he was he replied that he was a wizard who had come to test them with his wizardry. “What tricks can you do?” they asked. “Despite the fact that it is raining today I can produce eighty young men with dry cloaks!” “Show us!” He went outside and beckoned the young men inside. They removed the cloaks from the jars, put them on, and came into the coven.

Thus they bettered the witches, took them outside and strung them all up.

The relatives of the witches were incensed.

Two of them came forward and perjured themselves by testifying that Shim’on ben-Shataĥ’s son had committed some crime that was punishable by death. He was condemned to death. As he was being taken out to be stoned he said, “If I am guilty of this crime may my death bring me atonement, and if I am innocent may it atone for all my other sins and the responsibility for my death will be on the shoulders of the witnesses.”

R’ Yehuda Fetaya on Shabtai Tzvi – and the SHACH’s son David

I can’t claim the credit for this piece of research, which was sent in by another reader.

It’s R’ Yehuda Fetaya’s discussion of the excorcism he performed of Shabtai Tzvi’s spirit, when it demonically possessed a Jewish man in Baghdad for 30 years.

Before we continue, I just wanted to make something clear:

We have nothing to fear from the truth.

Nothing at all.

‘Truth’ is Hashem’s seal, and whenever we are pursuing the truth for it’s own sake, and not just to win an argument or to big ourselves up, then that process of pursuing the truth, and loving the truth, brings us closer to Hashem.

Whatever the outcome of this process of trying to uncover the truth, it’s only going to be good.

We all know that the ‘world of lies’ has to fall, before the world of truth can truly be established and flourish.

Sometimes, dismantling all these lies is a painful and scary process. But once it’s completed, we’ll be ready to go forward into that world of truth, with no more ‘lies’ to keep pulling us away from Hashem, and our own souls.

So, here is what my correspondent sent me – thank you!

(English is not their first language, so please excuse any errors in their introduction, which I’m bringing here as it has some more clues about what is really going on, here.)

Dear Rivka, Are you familiar with the book by Rabbi Yehuda Fetaya – Minhat Yehuda?

This contains a large part about Ezekiel 37. The Rabbi told in this section about contacts he has with souls of the deceased. The Rabbi is in conversation with a certain Bechor, and indicates that the soul that speaks through him first says that he is David, the son of Shabbatai Zevi, but a little later he says he is Zevi himself!

Rabbi Fetaya then has a long conversation with him from many pages.

Below I display a short part from the book, translated by Avraham Leader, edited by Yehuda Herskowitz – Mechon Haktav Jerusalem 5770-2010.

Rabbi Fetaya: I asked  him more questions, and I am writing only the answers, since the questions will be obvious by the answers, and these were his answers:

I am Shabbetai Zevi

He died by strangulation.

He did not repent and was buried in a gentile cemetery.

When he was alive, the husks would appear before his eyes.

The reason he became wicked was because he was not conceived in holiness.

He was reincarnated in countless numbers of reincarnations.

He merited a psyche and a spirit, but when the soul began to flicker within him, what happened happened.

Now he concedes that Moses, our teacher, of blessed memory, was true, that his prophecy was true and that his Torah was true, but these words of his have no effect, since once a person has died he is exempt from the commandments [Shabbat 30a].

His reward for fulfilling the commandments is already credited to another righteous man.

The reason he speaks within the heart rather than through the mouth is because the aforesaid Bechor studies Torah, by means of which he subdues the spirit within him and causes it pain. This is why the spirit interrupts his studies and communicates to him foreign thoughts.

(He lied to me concerning this, because even though being occupied with Torah subdues the evil spirit, it does not cause the spirit to speak within the heart rather than through the mouth. Proof of this is that in the year 5675, a thirty-five year old maiden who was blind in both eyes came to see me. A sage who had lived in my lifetime who I knew and recognized, had become reincarnated in her. Although she was blind and did not study Torah, he spoke within her heart but not through her mouth.

During his lifetime, this sage had a questionable reputation. Now, too, he attempted to seduce the said maiden to behave promiscuously with another sage and told her that the Messaiah would be born from their Union, but she did not listen to him. After a number of unifications and efforts I managed to determine that it was indeed that infamous sage.

It became known to me that when they bathed his corpse [i.e. the corpse of the Sage], they noticed a tattoo on his heart resembling a cross.

The actual reason he [i.e. the Sage who was known to R’ Fetaya] did not speak through the mouth was so that he would not be recognized by the people and be ridiculed and mocked. See Sha`ar Hagilgulim, preface 22, 22a, where he writes:

These incarnations which possess people occur in one of two ways.

The First are the souls of the wicked, who have not merited entering hell after death. They enter the bodies of people who are alive in this World and recount all that has befallen them there, may the Merciful One deliver us. The second relates to their impregnation in a person, in accordance with the secret of Pregnancy, as previously mentioned in former discourses, and they cling to him very secretively.

Therefore, if that person sins, the soul impregnated in him overpowers him, causes him to sin and incites him down an evil path, etc.

See there. It could be that when the master wrote: they cling to him very secretively, it is for the reason we have already cited, so that they not be recognized and made a mockery by the people. Now, then, let us return to our tale [of Shabtai Tzvi.)

His spirit has been reincarnated in the aforesaid Bechor, but his psyche still resides among the beasts of the forest.

He would like to leave this place, never again to enter the body of a Jew, and go the forests.

He was thirty-five years old when he died. (Actually he was fifty, see Encyclopedia Judaica, Shabbetai Zevi.)

I asked him other questions, but he would not reply. All he told me was that he was presently enclosed with the Other Side, in a the thickness of approximately one cubit.

Five days later I spoke to him again, very gently, and I saw that he was subdued. He was bemoaning his transgressions. He entreated me exceedingly to effect a rectification for him, and blessed me and my family with many blessings. He said that in order to honor me he would speak only the truth.

The beginning of his downfall was when he sinned with  a married woman, and what I heard is true; he fornicated with a male while wearing a prayer shawl and phylacteries.

He also sent a young man to be with his own wife Sarah and explicitly commanded him, saying, “Whatever Sarah tells you, obey her.”

His beating in the grave lasted twelve years.

Until now he had been reincarnated in the beasts of the forest. This was his First reincarnation in a person, in the aforesaid Bechor.

The reason for having entered him was that he had kissed a Young girl when he was a young boy. It was now thirty years since he had entered him. Beforehand, he had circled around Bechor`s head, because he was from the same root (as written in Sefer Halikutim, Jeremiah 8:13:

What I gave them will pass away, (I will give them spirits) that will pass into a body that is close to them, according to the hidden meaning of: “Either his uncle or his cousin shall redeem him etc.” [Leviticus 25:49].

On account of the aforesaid kiss, he entered him.

He was condemned to be with the Nazarene in boiling feces from the second hour until the fourth and a half hour of Friday.

Lots of interesting things to pick up here.

Firstly, that Shabtai Tzvi partially shared the same punishment as Yoshki in gehinnom, being boiled in feces together – but only for 2 1/2 hours on a Friday.

And also, that he sinned because he was conceived in impurity.

I have a lot of stuff I’m currently going through about the SHACH’s ancestors, and a lot of surprising information to share with you on that score, too, but we’ll keep that for another post.

But the thing that really stood out for me was that reference to:

David, the son of Shabbatai Zevi

I have been reading through Sabbatean history for months and months, but so far, I haven’t come across any other references to ‘David, the son of Shabbatai Zevi’.

I still have 100 pages left to go in Gershom Scholem’s oeuvre, so maybe he’ll turn up there, we’ll see.

But in the meantime, in one of those strange strokes of serendipity, just before I got sent this email, I tripped across another family tree for the SHACH on geni that looks like this:

Number 1 is next to R’ Moses Isserles, the REMA.

I have actually been combing through the tangled knots of his family tree for quite a while now, as his family tree is at the heart of so many of what became the Sabbatean-Frankist network.

I will do a separate post on him soon, BH, but I’ve already found grandchildren for the REMA who appear to be Polish xtians, possibly related to Polish nobility.

And that’s only a bit of what I’m discovering.

Number 2 is next to ‘Shabsai Cohen – The Shach Kasvan’ – i.e. the SHACH.

And Number 3 is next to his son, ‘Dovid Kasvan’.

That’s when I recalled that I’d done a family tree a long time ago, when I was trying to figure out more of the tangled relationships around the SHACH, forwards and backwards, where I’d had a lot of question marks about what was going on with ‘Dovid Kasvan / Katvan’.

In that ‘other’ family tree, which you can see HERE, ‘David Katvan’ is meant to be the SHACH’s son-in-law, married to a daughter ‘Toyba’ or ‘Tova’.

Toyba / Tova’s other husband is an ‘Aharon Mi-Geza Tzvi’.

It’s that surname again.

So, which version is correct?

‘David Katvan’ the Shach S-I-L version says that his father is one ‘Yitzhak HaLevi Katvan of Prague‘ – and then he’s connected to nothing and no-one else after that.

At this stage, that always strikes me as invitation to dig deeper, especially as we’re dealing with a prominent, wealthy individual here, described in the Pinkas of the Zolkiew chevra kadisha as follows:

“[T]he leader of the province, officer, the head, sir, the wealthy.” [Rosenstein. The Lurie Legacy.]

Here’s the text that is brought to support that version of David Katvan’s family tree:

Meanwhile on the other side, the version that has ‘Dovid Kasvan’ as the SHACH’s actual son, the family tree shows that ‘Dovid Kasvan’s’ daughter marries this Yitzhak Babad mentioned above, the ABD of Brod.

They can’t both be right.

Why does this matter?

If you trace the descendants of ‘Dovid Katvan’, on the version of the SHACH’s family tree that has him as the son-in-law, it goes like this:

DOVID KATVAN > ELLA ANSCHEL marries R’ SIMCHA HAGADOL HACOHEN RAPPOPORT > R’ YOSEF RAPPOPORT > RIVKA marries R’ YITZHAK ITKOVITZ > RABBI CHAIM OF VOLOZHIN.

You probably heard of Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin.

He founded the Volozhin Yeshiva, where so many of the ‘big zionists’ – both secular and ‘religious’ apparently spent some time.

And he’s the ancestor of Shimon Peres.

Amongst many others.

One day, I’ll do a post on the links between the Volozhin Yeshiva, and all the people intimately connected to what became the nascent State of Israel and modern ‘Zionism’, because there are just so many of them….

In case you were wondering, the family tree for R’ Chaim of Volozhin is a total, utter mess.

The progression I set out for you above took me months and months of comparing data to get to, and I have the feeling that in the middle of that whole mess, we will probably find Rebbe Nachman’s grandfather, R’ Nachman Horodenka.

If you remember from THIS post, on Jacob Frank, the data seemed to be showing this:

Rabbi Nachman Horodenka, the grandfather of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, appears to be the brother of R’ Chaim of Volozhin:

Because all this is so very deliberately convoluted, it could also be that Rabbi Nachman’s father, Simcha, is actually the brother of R’ Chaim of Volozhin. I’m still unpicking it.

But you can see that IFFFFF Shabtai Tzvi = SHACH, and IFFFFF Shabtai Tzvi /SHACH’s son was ‘David Katvan’, why a lot of effort would be put into rearranging the family tree, to try and cover that information up.

Because otherwise, we’d all know that the direct descendants of ‘Shabtai Tzvi’, in the person of Shimon Peres (and probably many others…) are still ruling the State of Israel in our days.

And that Rabbenu, our holy Rebbe, Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, was really the ‘light’ sent down into the midst of all that Sabbatean ‘darkness’ on his father’s side, to sweeten what was happening with his Torah and advice, so we’d be able to get through this ‘Sabbatean-Frankist’ onslaught of the last 200 years in one piece, spiritually.

And it also explains why Rebbe Nachman knew so much about the ‘Jewish Demon Torah Scholars’ in our midst, and why they all tried so hard to shut him up, destroy his teachings, and end his branch of chassidut.

Let’s stop there for now.

I have about 15 more family trees to ‘comb through’ again now, to try and figure this out a bit more.

But slowly, slowly, it’s all starting to come together.

Shabtai Tzvi and the SHACH – some more strange connections

Hopefully, you had a day to let the first post ‘sink in’ a little, because there is a lot more information to share on this subject.

Part of the problem with all this research is the sheer amount of lies we’ve been told about EVERYTHING, which means that each knot you untie leads on to a million more ‘loose ends’ and ‘mysteries’ that are connected to the web of lies unravelling.

So, knowing how to parcel all this out, so you have enough information to follow what’s going on, and how I come to these conclusions, but without overwhelming you with data, is quite the challenge.

In this post, we’re going to continue the discussion that was started in the last one, HERE, which sets out the hypothesis that Shabtai Tzvi and the SHACH are actually the same person.

As always, use this as a starting point, and go and do your own research and investigation – and hitbodedut!!! Lots and lots of hitbodedut, or talking to God in your own words, to ask Him to show you what is really going on here. Because honestly, that’s the most important part of this ‘birur’ process, not all the information I’m putting together here.

And with that, let’s dive in to more strange details about the SHACH and Shabtai Tzvi.

Here’s a collation of the summaries from each section:

Rabbi Shabtai HaKohen, one of the most prominent of all our rabbis, lived in the Latvian town of Prinsk. Rabbi Hacohen is known by the name of his famous book, “Siftei Cohen” – lips of the Kohen – abbreviated as Shach. He was still young when he wrote the book, and it led to his having a reputation as a Torah genius. But he was not wealthy at all. His wife was ill, and after a period of pain and suffering, she passed away. Rabbi Shabtai was forced to take care of his six-year-old daughter Esther, who was also quite ill. His only consolation was in the study of Torah.

He was forced to flee from the Cossacks, and he had to leave his sick young daughter in the snow, thinking she was dead. The King of Poland found her and his physician made every possible effort to revive her. When the rabbi returned a while later he could not understand what had happened to his daughter’s “body.”

Esther was taken in by the King of Poland, whose physicians managed to save her life.

She was raised as a daughter of the king and as a companion for Princess Maria. In spite of great pressure, Esther insisted on maintaining her Jewish faith and on eating only kosher food.

One day, when she was playing with Maria, Esther suddenly jumped on Maria with a scream and dragged her off the bench where she sat – [rescuing her from being bitten by a poisonous snake].

 But she did not feel comfortable living in a Christian home. The people allowed her to eat kosher food, but they repeatedly tried to convince her to convert and become a Christian.

When a fire broke out in the palace, Esther took advantage of the great tumult and ran away. All the people came to the sad conclusion that she had perished in the fire.

At about the same time, her father [the SHACH] also despaired of finding her, until he heard a rumor about a young Jewish girl in the home of the King who maintained her faith. He decided to go there and check if this could possibly be his long lost daughter.

On his way to look for her, [the SHACH] was caught by bandits who threatened to kill him, but he discovered that the head of the gang was a childhood friend, the Polish man Vratislav. The chief told the rabbi how he had reached such a low point in life.

 The SHACH was released, but meanwhile the bandits captured Esther and suggested to their chief that he should marry her.

[The bandits] offered to release her [Esther] to the Jews for an enormous sum of money.

Rabbi Menachem, one of the leaders of the community of Vilna, redeemed her and adopted her as his daughter.

[Esther] eventually married Rabbi Menachem from Vilna.

Years later, the Prince of Poland decreed that the Jews must pay a huge sum of money. Esther went to visit Princess Maria, her good friend, and they had a very emotional reunion after many years of separation. The Prince witnessed their meeting and offered to give Esther a prize for having saved Maria’s life.

In the last part of the story, we are told this:

After a moment of thought, the Prince said:

“Esther, my wife’s dear sister, I am willing to give you the fine of one thousand gold coins that I demanded from the Jewish community of Vilna. You can collect the money and do with it whatever you want.”…

Meanwhile, Rabbi Shabtai continued writing his important book “Siftai Kohen,” known by its abbreviation, SHACH. He wanted to print a second volume, but he did not have the necessary funds. He decided to take a trip in an effort to gather contributions in order to publish his book, and he arrived in Vilna.

Rabbi Menachem and his wife Esther were happy to have Rabbi Shabtai as a guest in their home. Of course, the rabbi did not recognize Esther, just as she did not recognize him…..

And then one of the people added, “To the life of our host [R’ Menachem Mann], the son-in-law of the King!”….

Just at that moment Esther came into the room. Rabbi Shabtai looked at her and he gave a great shout. “My own Esther! My dear daughter!” He took hold of Esther and hugged her warmly. “Father! Father!” Esther cried. “Who would believe that I would ever find you! And who would believe that my father is such a famous rabbi!” And Rabbi Shabtai replied, “I am not great. You are the great one! After you spent so many years in the palace and kept to your Jewish faith, nobody is greater than you!”…

Rabbi Menachem donated all the money needed to print Rabbi Shabtai’s book of commentary on the Shulchan Aruch, and the multitudes of Yisrael study this book to this very day.

There is so much to unpack in this ‘story’.

For sure, it’s been embellished by the storyteller, but the basic ‘facts’ are these:

  • The SHACH loses his first wife at a young age.
  • He has a daughter with this wife called ‘Esther’, who somehow gets lost in a forest during the Chmielnicki riots.
  • This daughter is found by the King of Poland, and is quasi-adopted by him.
  • This daughter maintains her Jewishness in the King’s palace, despite being pressured to convert to xtianity.
  • She’s good friends with the King’s daughter, Princess Maria.
  • She escapes from the palace when it burns down.
  • She ends up being ‘adopted’ by R’ Menachem Mann of Vilna – and then ends up marrying him, when his own wife dies.
  • She is eventually reunited with the SHACH.
  • Her husband, R’ Menachem Mann of Vilna, pays to print the SHACH’s book, Siftey Cohen.

How much of this story – that we are basically teaching our children is ‘all true’ – stands up to scrutiny?

Let’s find out.

We’ll start with the easier stuff about who printed the SHACH’s works.

One of my readers sent me this yesterday, from HERE:

Here’s the relevant snippet:

Fundamental commentary and novella on the Shulchan Oruch Choshen Mishpat, by R. Shabse Katz (1621-1662), known as the SHaCH. Published by his son-in-law R. Menachem Manish…

In the introduction to the sefer R. Menachem Manish writes that before his passing, the SHaCH instructed him to publish this sefer, but the printing was postponed due to financial constraints, after which the SHaCH appeared to him in a dream, urging him to print the sefer without further delay.

Includes approbations by R. Heschel of Cracow; R. Yonah Thumim (Kikayon D’Yonah) and R. Sheftel Horowitz (son of the Shelah).

With a poem written by the author in the shape of a star on page 2b.

The year of publication (1663) is referred to on the title page as “Yemei Ha’Moshiach”, as it was printed in Amsterdam at the height of the influence of the tragic episode of the false Messiah, Shabtai Tzvi.

Following Shabtai Tzvi’s conversion to Islam in 1666 and the devastation which followed, many of these original title pages were destroyed.

So, we can see that R’ Menachem Manish was the SHACH’s son-in-law; and did print the SHACH on Choshen Mishpat for the first time in 1663 in Amsterdam – a year after the SHACH is supposed to have died.

And that the year of publication, 1663, is referred to as:

“Yemei Ha’Moshiach”, as it was printed in Amsterdam at the height of the influence of the tragic episode of the false Messiah, Shabtai Tzvi.

And that most of these original title pages were destroyed, after the apostasy of Shabtai Tzvi in 1666.

But now, we have a massive kooshia here (at least, for those people who aren’t agreeing with the hypothesis that SHACH = Shabtai Tzvi):

Gershom Scholem states that the SHACH died in 1664, (the Hebrew year 5424).

And my reader took the time to translate the SHACH’s tombstone to try to verify that statement:

חלקת מחוקק ספון וטמון

צנצנת המן פדגוג ואומן
כל רז לא אנים ליה ולא כמון כמעשי
ידי אומן הרב הגאון המפורסם
מורינו ורבינו רבי שבתי בהגאון

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
This carved and sealed stone [this is an expression from Tanach, in a sense of praise)
A jar of mann, pedagog, artisan.
No secret was hidden from him and it was readily known to him like the workings in the hands of the artisan.
Moreinu and Rabeinu HaRav HaGaon Shabtai Cohen the son of the Gaon Meir HaCohen HaGadol who is anointed with oil
The writer of Siftei Cohen crown of time
He went of up to the yeshivah of shamayim in half the time
His soul left on the 1st of Adar Harishon [so in a year with 2 Adarim?]  and on the yom hamishi on the second [does it mean the second of Adar or that he was buried the day after he died???] he was buried
and sealed here the year the day moshiach comes to redeem if not alman?
and he lives and is invited  to olam haba
and the death of tzaddikim is capara [and the last word I can’t see properly].

There is no specific date on this very strange tombstone, but Scholem says that phrase:

 שנת היום בא משיח לגאול

alludes to what that year is, i.e. 5424 – 1664.

 ====

As mentioned in the last post, that tombstone is brand new, and is kind of ‘stuck’ on an old grave in Holleschau.

Also weird is why the specific names are ‘whited out’ – the whole point is that this is the tomb of the SHACH, so why make those details, dafka, so hard to read?

It gives no specific date of death for the SHACH, but the date it’s meant to be alluding to is one year AFTER the SHACH’s son-in-law printed his Siftey Cohen in 1663, apparently posthumously, because the SHACH is meant to have died in 1662.

And that allusion to the person buried in the grave being “A jar of mann” also strikes me as strange.

You write something like that – a pun on a name – for someone named….Menachem Mann, for example.

But how is this ‘jar of mann’ meant to be connected, in any way, to the SHACH?

We are going to park ‘Menachem Manish’ for now – but we will return to him probably in another post, as the Baal Shem Tov’s second wife Chana descends from him, and his wife ‘Esther Hatzaddika’ – the daughter of the SHACH we’re taking a closer look at here.

And I just tripped over a bunch more strange links in Vilna, connected to him and his family, that will require some time to process.

Let’s move on, as this is only the beginning of the high weirdness in this post.

Next, let’s try to figure out who the mother of ‘Esther Hatzaddika’, daughter of the SHACH, actually is.

On the My Heritage genealogy website HERE, we find this entry for the wife of the SHACH, Yenta Leah Meisels:

So now, the plot thickens!

You remember in the last post, I brought 4 accounts of Shabtai Tzvi’s third wife ‘Sarah’, who is meant to have also being ‘orphaned’ in the Chmielniki massacres, then raised as a xtian in the home of a Polish noble, before becoming a tart and then marrying Shabtai Tzvi?

I.e., a very similar tale to that being told about the SHACH’s daughter, ‘Esther HaTzaddika’?

According to this, the SHACH’s wife is called Yenta Leah Meisels, (and /or Ashkenazi), and her mother is meant to be one ‘Sarah’, the daughter of the MaHaRSHa, Shmuel Eidels (1555-1631).

That family tree is also a huge mess, with tons of misinformation and ‘discussions’ going on – specifically around this mysterious ‘Sarah’, who seems to have at least two different identities, and at least two different husbands.

We will park this information too, for now, but it’s VERY pertinent to how some very prominent families in the Torah world are directly linked to Sabbatean-Frankist families – and how they covered it up.

(The MaHaRSHa’s grandson is the Megaleh Amukot, Natan Neta Shapira).

So, back to the miraculous tale of ‘Esther HaTzaddika’.

In one of the many discussions at the bottom of the SHACH’s geni profile HERE, one of the contributors tried to research this story further, to see if there was any possibility it could be true.

According to these commentators, the grave of the SHACH in Moravia is shaped like a book, and what’s written on the outside of it is… the story of Esther HaTzaddika.

In Hebrew.

A whole big discussion then takes place on geni, with one commentator saying that the story – even though it’s written on what is meant to be the SHACH’s grave (!) is false, and / or it took place with the SHACH’s son, instead, R’ Moshe of Podhajce.

Here’s a snippet:

My chavrusa is a direct descendant of The Shach…Adopted Princess is true.

It is also standard curriculum, as I understand it in the Bais Yaakov schools.

This is remarkable.

If ‘Esther daughter of the SHACH’ was really taken in by Polish nobility during the Chmielnicki uprisings, that suggests that there had to be some sort of blood tie between the family of the SHACH, and the apparently gentile Radziwill family, who were ruling Poland at this time.

Because Polish nobles don’t just take in half-dead, anonymous ‘strays’ they find in forests, regardless of what Bais Yaakov and Walt Disney says.

Where all this is leading us is deep, deep down the rabbit hole of just how ‘Jewish’ most of our leading rabbinic families really are.

And just how ‘Jewish’ so many European royal families really are.

Alt-historians like Miles Mathis (who generally has a very good, fact-based methodology, but who seems to be drawing some wrong conclusions) says that most of the European royal families got ‘invaded’ by crypto Jews.

You can understand why he got that impression.

I’m of the view, at this stage, that the Jewish people got ‘invaded’ by Sadduccee-Karaite-Gnostic-Manichean-Sabians – or whatever their latest ‘incarnation’ actually is.

And that the Swiss Knights Templars, amongst others, are bang in the middle of this whole, hot mess.

But the bottom line is this:

Many of our leading ‘rabbinical royalty’ families have some very deep, very strange links with xtianity, and with royal families, that have gone on for centuries.

There, you’ll find an excerpt from the Rebbe Rayatz of Chabad’s personal memoirs, which you can read for yourself HERE, (p169) talking about some weird account about a ‘Nachum’, who is an agent for some (made-up name) Polish Count, who is discussing selling some of his boss’s estates to a Swedish royal called ‘Prince Johann Cambari’.

According to the Rebbe Rayatz that ‘Prince Johann Cambari’ is really a secret Jew, who wants to return to the Jewish faith.

John III of Sweden, who was married to Catherine Jagellion.

Alternative historian Miles Mathis has had the Jagellions fingered as ‘crypto-Jews’ who took over a whole bunch of European royal families in a bunch of his research papers.

Let me sum up what I just told you, then we’re going to bring it back around, to the ‘Mary Walsh’ we have in the Queen Mother’s family tree:

> Sir Moses Montefiore’s paternal uncle married Juana Rodriguez.

>Her sister Maria was the mother of Frances Roger Kissane (another crypto Jewish Catholic) in Ireland.

>Frances Roger Kissane married Sarah, Jacob Frank’s daughter.

>And then Juana’s son Moses Augustus Montefiore – first cousin of Sir Moses Montefiore – married Mary Kissane, the daughter of one ‘Captain John Walsh’, who was the son of Yehuda Wolowski Schorr, the son of Elisha Schor.

>Captain John Walsh’s sister was a woman named Charlotte Sarah Jane Grimstead. She was the mother of Charlotte Lyon-Bowes, whose son, Claude Bowes-Lyon is the paternal grandfather of the present Queen of Britain, Elizabeth II.

Or to put it another way, the Lubavitcher Rebbe and the Queen seem to both be related to the infamous ‘Shor’ family.

I  have so much information to sort through at this stage, before I can synthesise it for you in a way that’s hopefully easy enough to digest.

But for now, suffice to say that all these ‘stories’ that we’ve been told about Jewish ‘rabbinic royalty’ in Europe do contain a nugget of truth, mixed in with all the lies.

When King Stephen Bathory of Poland died in August of 1586, a schism immediately arose concerning which branch of the Polish royal family was the true successor to the throne.

Polish law mandated that the throne could not remain vacant for even a short period of time and required that, in the event of a feud, a rex pro tempore – temporary king – be elected.

Nicholas Radziwill was by that time a very powerful force in the government and recommended that the impartial and very reputable Saul Wahl be crowned king. Saul was quickly approved and became “King of Poland for a day”!

Also, be aware that this story of the ‘King of Poland for one day’ was deliberately made up by one of my husband’s ancestors, R. Zvi Hirsch Edelman (Chen Tov), who was a scholar working at the Bodleian Library in Oxford, in the pay of the Rothschilds.

(He went mad and died in an insane asylum… See? I also have some yichus….)

Why would someone make something like this up?!?!?

We all want to know.

More and more, I think we’re finally on the cusp of figuring that out.

Shabtai Tzvi and the SHACH – some strange connections

I  have been musing on writing this post for well over a year.

And each time…. I ducked it.

Let someone else open that big can of worms…

But the last few days, I have come to the conclusion I can’t really ‘duck’ these issues anymore, however disturbing we might all find the information.

First, let’s be clear that I am not making any definitive statements in this post. With all the ‘disinformation’, cover-ups and deliberate lies that have gone on to obscure Shabtai Tzvi’s true identity and real connections, the most I can tell you is that this is a working hypothesis, that seems to have an awful lot of circumstantial information that supports it.

If you don’t buy the hypothesis, that’s ok and totally your prerogative.

God gave each of us a brain, and He is thrilled when we think for ourselves.

That said, my soul is becoming very wearied with certain commentators here who just mock me, personally, and seem incapable of discussing information without trying to always prove that everything I’ve written is BS.

As noted above, this is a working hypothesis, not a statement of fact.

There are a number of giant ‘holes’ in the stories of both the SHACH and Shabtai Tzvi, and until and unless more factual information comes to light, all anyone can do is ‘stretch’ the information they do have, over them.

So, feel free to have your own opinion, and even to express that here on the blog – but do it respectfully, and perhaps with at least a modicum of humility that you also don’t know everything.

Ergo – there’s at least a possibility that this hypothesis is more ‘correct’ than the current history we’re all being fed, that contains some ginormous, demonstrable, lies.

And with that, let’s begin.

First, here is my hypothesis, laid out bare bones:

False messiah Shabtai Tzvi and halachic codifier Shabtai HaKohen Katz are actually one and the same person.

How did I come to this conclusion?

Read on.

====

FIRST, SOME OF THE ‘HOLES’ IN THE STORY OF SHABTAI TZVI:

The false messiah ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ was not born and raised in Smyrna (now Izmir) in Turkey.

The earliest reports of him being in Smyrna are from 1650 onwards – and even then, he was only there for a short period of time before he was ‘banished’ for his strange behavior in shul.

Also, in Gershom Scholem’s book ‘Sabbatai Sevi: The Mystical Messiah, 1626-1676‘, he brings evidence that Shabtai Tzvi could not speak either Turkish, or Arabic, and had to have his brother translate for him, when he was dealing with the Turkish rulers.

This makes no sense, if he really was born and bred in Smyrna (present day Izmir, in Turkey).

Excerpt from pages 106-107 of Scholem’s book:

The name Sevi [Tsvi] is unknown among Sephardim, either as a personal or family name, and is likely that both the name and the family are of Ashkenazi origin. Emanuel Frances [a contemporary anti-Sabbatean] tells us that Sabbatai ‘belonged to an Ashkenazi family that came to live there’….

In the account of envoys from Poland who visited Sabbatai in  1666 [this was the TAZ’s son and son-in-law], we are told that he [Shabtai Tzvi] rebuked of them in German (or Yiddish)…..

[W]e know that before 1666 [Shabtai Tzvi] had no command of Turkish…

Long story short, there is no evidence that places ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ in Smyrna, before 1650, when according to the dates accorded to him, he would already be 24 years old.

In terms of his family, his father ‘Mordechai Sevi’ apparently dies – conveniently! – in 1663, at the same time as Shabtai’s uncle, Isaac Sevi.

This information about his immediate family only showed up, again conveniently, in 1935, and also conveniently, by that time the tombstones of his relatives were claimed to have all been destroyed in World War I.

He has two brothers, Elias and Joseph, who are meant to be traders in Smyrna with connections as commercial agents for the British and Dutch, and maybe, he had a sister too.

No-one knows anything about his mother, or her family.

While ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ was apparently married at least three times before he converted to Islam in 1666, nothing is known of his previous two wives, who he apparently divorced shortly after marrying them.

Then he married a third wife, ‘Sarah’, in 1664, who also has a very strange story, based on the fact that she was orphaned in the Chmielnicki massacres of 1648 onwards, in and around Poland and Lithuania. The following is taken from p 194-5 of Scholem’s book:

“The four accounts which we possess all agree that Sarah grew up as a Christian. In spite of the many fantastic details, the accounts show certain similarities and points of contact….

[1] In Ragstatt’s version, the orphaned girl was adopted by a Polish nobleman.

When she had reached womanhood, her father’s spirit appeared to her, told her that she was Jewish, and commanded her to return to her ancestral religion. Her [Polish] stepfather died, and the family wanted her to marry, but she was miraculously transported through the air to Persia, where her father had fled the Chmielnicki massacres…then to ‘Asia’.”

[The angel that’s transporting her around then tells her she is going to marry ‘the messiah’. Ragstatt was a Jew who converted to xtianity after the debacle of Shabtai Tzvi.]

[2] Leyb b. Ozer had heard from ‘reliable reporters and rabbis, and also from my late father,’ who had seen and known the girl and heard her own story, that from the age of six she lived in a Polish nunnery.

When she was 16, her dead father (who had been a rabbi in a Polish community)…commanded her to wander from one city to another until she found the messiah, who would marry her. She was finally sent to Amsterdam, whither her brother Samuel had fled from Poland.

[3] Baruch of Arezzo [a Sabbatean believer] recounts….she had been forcibly baptised and was thereafter brought up by a Polish noblewoman who wanted to marry her to her son.

On the day before the wedding, her father, who had died two years earlier, appeared to her and gave her a ‘garment of skin’ inscribed ‘She will be the messiah’s wife’.

[She ended up in Leghorn for a few years, and then went to Egypt, where she married Shabtai Tzvi in 1664.]

[4] [In] De La Croix’s account [a French xtian writer]…Sarah was forcibly abducted from the house of her stepfather (who was a famous rabbi) and brought to a Polish nobleman who wanted to convert her….

Scholem also states:

All sources record rumours about her licentious life.

(You’ll see in a minute why I’m bringing these sources in so much detail.)

Shabtai Tzvi himself seems obviously ‘psychotic’.

By turns, he’s ‘illuminated’ and not needing sleep or food, and singing psalms 24/7 while also engaging in his bizarre behaviour that goes against the Torah; alternating with ‘depressed’ periods where he secludes himself and regrets his bizarre actions while ‘illuminated’; and then ‘normal’ periods where he behaves mamash like a pious ascetic, fasting, learning Torah and regularly scourging himself and practising kabbalistic mortifications of the body.

The first concrete reports of this mad behavior are dated to 1650 – and even then, are only given over many, many years later, by a Sabbatian believer and ‘first friend’ of Shabtai Tzvi named Moses Pinheiro.

So for the first 24 years of his life… there are no records of him doing or saying anything crazy.

Shabtai Tzvi is obsessed with another false messiah, aka Jesus.

And also seems to have deep knowledge of ‘xtian’ doctrines pertaining to faith and redemption.

Again, quite a strange thing for a ‘mad Jewish man’ from Turkish Smyrna…

He’s obsessed with avenging the Chmielnicki massacres that happened in and around Poland, from 1648 on.

To the point of even making statements that the only xtian blood that is going to flow ‘once the messiah is openly revealed’ is in Poland and Germany.

He also apparently knows how to speak Polish, German and Yiddish.

But NOT Turkish and Arabic…

There are many, many more ‘holes’ in the official story told about Shabtai Tzvi, but let’s stop there, for now.

And turn our attention, instead, to the official ‘story’ told about Shabtai Hakohen Katz, author of many works including the Siftey Cohen, from whence he gets his nickname, the SHACH.

Here’s the standard story, told about Shabtai HaKohen Katz:

Shabbatai HaKohen was born either in Amstibovo or in Vilna, Lithuania in 1621 and died at Holleschau, Moravia on the 1st of Adar, 1662.

He first studied with his father and in 1633 he entered the yeshivah of Rabbi Joshua Höschel ben Joseph at Tykotzin, moving later to Cracow and Lublin, where he studied under Naphtali Cohen.

Returning to Vilna, he married the daughter of the wealthy Shimon Wolf, a great-grandson of Moses Isserles, and shortly after was appointed to the Beit Din as one of the assistants of Moses ben Isaac Judah Lima, author of Chelkat Mechokek.

In 1655, during fighting between Polish forces and the invading Swedish army in the Northern War, Shabbatai HaKohen fled Vilna with the entire Jewish community.

After a short stay at Lublin he went to Prague and later to Strážnice in Moravia, from where he was called to the rabbinate of Holešov, where he remained until his death in 1662.

While in Holešov, he gained the friendship of Magister Valentino Wiedreich of Leipzig [a christian]. The Shakh′s grave in the Jewish cemetery of Holešov still exists and is visited by people from all over the world.

I went looking for who this ‘Valentino Wiedreich’ was, and I got to an archived copy of the Jewish Encyclopaedia, HERE, that said this:

During the period he was rabbi in Holesov he became friendly with a Christian scholar. In the library of the academy in Leipzig there is a holograph of a Hebrew letter dated Feb. 3, 1660, which Shabbetai wrote “to him whom I love as myself, the philosopher magister Valentino Wiedreich.”

Shabbetai informs him that he has sent him the book of Elijah Bahur and asks him to keep in touch with him (Bikkurei ha-Ittiniy 10 (1829), 43-44)

Doesn’t it strike you as strange, that someone like the SHACH is described as being bosom buddies with a xtian philosopher?

Here’s some more basic details, then we’ll start to dig down, into some of the reasons why I believe Shabtai Tzvi and the SHACH are actually the same person.

  • His magnum opus, Siftey HaCohen, is published in Cracow in 1646.
  • He witnesses the Chmielnicki massacres beginning 1648 first-hand, and even writes an historical account about them in a work called the ‘Flying Scroll’.
  • He is an exact contemporary of ‘Shabtai Tzvi’, but apparently dies sometime between 1662-1664 – the year before ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ takes centre stage as the false messiah.
  • He has a reputation for overturning other people’s legal decisions and ‘walking his own path’, this from Wikipedia:

Shabbatai HaKohen was regarded by his contemporaries as more than usually learned.

He frequently contested the decisions of his predecessors, and followed an entirely new path in the interpretation of the Talmudic law. He made light, too, of the decisions of his contemporaries, and thus drew on himself the enmity of some among them, including David ben Shmuel HaLevi, author of Ture Zahav, and Aaron Shmuel Kaidanover, author of Birkhat HaZevach….

So now, let me explain how I even got started on this hypothesis, that Shabtai Tzvi and the SHACH are alter egos.

When I was trying to figure out who Jacob Frank really was, I spent literally days and weeks and months poring over family trees on Geni, and elsewhere, trying to piece together the family relationships of leading Sabbatean-Frankist families, including the Rothschilds, Montefiores, Shors, and Eybshutzs, amongst many others.

Very quickly in that process, I could see that there was a massive cover-up around Jacob Frank’s genealogy, and that while ‘official history’ was trying to make him out as a nobody from Salonika, he was actually a close relative of ‘Jewish royalty’, yichus-wise.

While I’ve made a lot of progress starting to sort his family tree out, I am still going through that process of birur today. But one thing I learnt to spot was the inexplicable inconsistencies in some of the family trees on Geni that always suggest ‘massive cover up happening here’.

And one of those family trees belonged to the SHACH, Shabtai Kohen.

At this stage, over a year ago, I simply couldn’t understand why anyone would be going to such lengths to confuse everything around the SHACH’s family tree – in all directions – so thoroughly, when he lived a full 80 years before Jacob Frank really began his career as the Frankist false messiah.

One day, I was looking at this portrait (below) of the SHACH, when I suddenly heard that inner voice whispering at me:

You are looking at the real Shabtai Tzvi.

This is not something that can be logically explained at all, but it’s happened on many, many occasions that I get these flashes of intuition, that seem totally ‘out there’, and then when I start researching them to see if they are actually credible, they nearly always pan out.

So, when I first heard that little voice whispering at me – I shut my computer, took all my research and ‘family trees’ upstairs, and dumped them in a box for the next three months.

Because at that point, I didn’t even want to start down that path of checking whether ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ and the SHACH could be the same person.

For obvious reasons.

Over the next few months, I had so many arguments, both internally, and also with my husband about what to do about all this; I had so much new information coming out, about Jacob Frank, about the Sabbateans, and about the contours of a wider problem, that suggested the Jewish community had been corrupted from within, for millenia.

Much of it I put up here on the site, but everytime ‘Shabtai Tzvi = SHACH’ stuff started to coalesce again, I’d stop the research.

Because I didn’t want to challenge anyone’s faith in our true Tzaddikim unnecessarily, or stir things up any more than I had to.

====

Long story short, I came to the conclusion this week that I’m not going to have any ‘inner peace’ until I finally get this hypothesis ‘out there’.

I could write reams more about the struggle I’ve had with all this, behind the scenes, but you hopefully get the idea, and in the meantime, let’s move on with the information.

The more I was looking at the SHACH’s convoluted family tree, HERE, the more I realised how so many of the leading Sabbatians in Poland and Hungary, who then gave rise to the leading Frankists etc, were directly related to the SHACH.

That includes the Meir Panim, Meir Eisenstadt, (teacher of Jonathan Eybshutz) and his ‘Sabbatean-prophet’ brother Mordechai Mokiach, amongst many others.

That didn’t really make a lot of sense, if ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ was a native of Smyrna, and lived and died with his hard-core followers in Turkey.

BUT, it made way more sense, if the SHACH = Shabtai Tzvi.

Next, I kept tripping over descendants and relatives of the SHACH with the strange surname ‘Mi Geza Tzvi’ – which translates as ‘from the root of Tzvi’.

This was often shortened to ‘Mi Geza’, so initially I was translating it as ‘from Gaza’ – which was a weird enough surname in itself, for a guy who apparently lived his whole life in and around what is now Poland – until one day, I tripped across the full version of Mi Geza Tzvi.

From the root of Tzvi.

Why would the SHACH’s descendants be called ‘from the root of Tzvi’?

And then, why would the path between these descendants and the SHACH himself be so convoluted?

Here’s one example, “Admor Zeev Wolf Koch, Of Tcherni Austraha, Of Geza Tzvi.“

Here’s a screenshot, of how he’s just kind of ‘hanging’ there, with no parents, and with some very interesting descendants that include the former ABD of Safed, R’ Avraham Heller – whose descendants are still playing a very big role in the State of Israel, even in our days.

(BTW, that ‘R’ Mordechai Wolf Zeev of Karlin’ is the nephew of R’ Levi Yitzhak of Berdichev’s wife, who is also bang in the middle of all the ‘interesting’ family trees I’ve been researching…. It’s a very small world.)

Here’s another example, ‘Aharon Moshe Mi-Geza Tzvi of Brod’, founder of the first chassidic community in Jerusalem (apparently…), screenshot from Kestenbaum, HERE.

This bio comes from HERE:

“Rabbi Aharon Moshe MiGeza Tzvi [1775-1858] was amongst the great Chassidic personalities, and a disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin and the Saraf of Strelisk.

He studied Torah and kabbalah in Brod and then in 1839 immigrated to Israel. He is considered to be the founder of the Chassidic community in Jerusalem and headed the Kollel Chassidim in Jerusalem. He mourned for the destruction of Jerusalem throughout his life and passed away in 1845. His famous will was published in Chernowitz in 1858.”

If you go back to the GENI (distorted…) family tree HERE, you’ll find many ‘Mi-Geza Tzvis’ descending directly from the SHACH.

I’ve screenshotted some of them, below – and let me point out at this stage that’s it’s a common trick that the disinformers pull, to kind of ‘switch yichus’ between the husband and the wife, to throw people off the scent of what is really going on, so don’t be fooled by the fact that the ‘Mi Geza Tzvi’ tag is being stuck on the SHACH’s son-in-law, instead of his daughter.

There may be another theory that explains this satisfactorily – and if there is, I’m happy to hear it – but at this stage, it started to seem more and more likely that ‘Shabtai Tzvi = SHACH’.

The next clues came from the Hebrew Wikipedia page for the SHACH, HERE.

Here’s a Google translated snippet:

During the war between the Polish-Lithuanian Union and Russia, he was exiled from Vilnius [Vilna] when it was occupied by the Russians in 1655 and wandered from place to place, until he arrived in the Austrian City of Halichoi (in present-day Czech Republic), where he was accepted as a rabbi, but died a short time later.

Legend has it that he lost his daughter Hilda in the forest when he fled his home in 1655, the year the Russians occupied Vilnius, and a local king or minister found her, and raised her as a princess, she maintained her Jewish ancestry, and found her father who identified her as his daughter.

I learnt a number of important things from the Hebrew Wikipedia page:

  1. The SHACH apparently wandered around a great deal, incommunicado, before apparently getting to Hollichau and apparently dying there either in 1662 or 1663.

2. There is a lot of confusion about the year he is meant to have died, which is strange because his grave in Hollechau – with a brand new tombstone – should be able to clear that fact up instantly (see screenshot to the left – and I’ll put a close up of this at the bottom of the post, if someone out there can help me decipher it).

3. There is a very weird ‘legend’ about the SHACH losing a daughter named Hilda, who is raised by a xtian as a princess, before being ‘reunited’ with the SHACH.

Last things first: does that strange ‘legend’ about the SHACH’s daughter remind you of another strange ‘legend’, brought above, this time about Shabtai Tzvi’s third wife, Sarah?

(In case you are wondering, I haven’t been able to track down any daughter of the SHACH named ‘Hilda’, in all my searching.)

For Hebrew readers out there, there is another long discussion of this SHACH legend on the Toladot blogspot HERE, where the SHACH’s long-lost daughter is replaced with his sister, Esther Ashkenazi.

(Or maybe, it’s the sister of the SHACH’s wife….)

But either way, this ‘holy virgin’ reclaimed from the non-Jew’s house ends up being the mother of grandmother of the secret Sabbatean the ‘Meir Panim’, Meir Eisenstadt, and his brother, the not-so-secret Sabbatean prophet, Mordechai Mokiach as brought above.

This ‘legend’ about the SHACH just smacks of the same Sabbatean-Frankist lies that now jump out at me from a mile off.

But why would anyone make up such a weird story about the SHACH being reunited with his long-lost sister like this?

(If you disagree with my premise that ‘Shabtai Tzvi = SHACH’, so there had to be a whole lot of shuffling genealogies around to protect all the rabbis directly related to him, whose descendants with Sabbatean tendencies have been running the show in the ‘orthodox’ Jewish community for a very long time. And still are.)

If you go to Esther Ashkenazi’s family tree HERE, you’ll see that all connection with the SHACH seems to be carefully scrubbed off her profile, despite all the evidence linking her directly to the SHACH, one way or another.

Why is that?

(Here’s a clue: see all the illustrious rabbis that she’s ‘officially’ connected to, both up and down the line, and then start to understand why such a magnificent cover-up of who Shabtai Tzvi really was had to happen, after it all went so spectacularly sour.)

The next clues came from Gershom Scholem’s book, Sabbetai Sevi: The Mystical Messiah, 1626-1756.

I still have 200 pages to go, and this ‘hypothesis’ is still a work in progress, but here’s a few of the things that I took from that book (so far, with lots more still to come.)

  1. A physical description of ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ as being physically tall and imposing, having a ‘swarthy appearance‘ and black, rounded bead, – together with the only contemporary, accurate sketch of him (on the left.):

2. Shabtai Tzvi is described as only starting his ‘manic-depressive’ stage in 1650 – i.e. two years into the Chmielnicki massacres in and around Poland and modern-day Lithuania.

This date is very meaningful, as we’ll see below.

3. He is expelled from Smryna by the Jewish community sometime between 1651-1654.

And then spends the next few years wandering around in obscurity, before popping back up in Jerusalem and Egypt, and couple of years before he began his career as a ‘false messiah’ in earnest.

4. Something very profound happens to ‘Shabtai Tzvi’ in 1648 – the date the Chmielnicki massacres begin, in and around Poland.

This excerpt comes from p 136 of Scholem’s book:

“When he [Sabbatai Sevi] passed through Aleppo, he told us… how in the year 1648 the Spirit of God descended upon him one night while he was walking at about two hours distance from the city in solitary meditation, until he heard the voice of God speaking to him, ‘Thou art the savior of Israel, the messiah, the son of David, the anointed of the God of Jacov, and thou art destined to redeem Israel, to gather it from the four corners of the earth to Jerusalem….’

From that moment on, he was clothed with the Holy Spirit and with a great illumination; he pronounced the [ineffable] name of God and performed all sorts of strange actions as seemed fit to him by reason of the mystical tiqqun intended by them. Those who saw him did not understand his actions, and in their eyes he was like a fool.”

Before I bring the last bit of stunning info, for this post at least, I just want to bring you the strange statement that Scholem makes about the gravestone of the SHACH, in his book on Shabtai Tzvi.

Excerpt from page 559:

[N]one of the numerous known inscriptions on tombstones from the years 1666 in the cemeteries of Frankfurt, Vienna, Hamburg and Prague make any reference to the advent of redemption, though earlier tombstones speak eloquently of messianic expectations.

Here, Scholem brings just one example – the tombstone of the SHACH, where he says this:

In 1664, the rabbi of Holleschau in Moravia, the renowned Talmudic scholar R. Sabbatai Kohen… died, and his epitaph gives the date of his demise as ‘the year MESSIAH SON OF DAVID’ (numerical value in Hebrew, 424′.)

Apart from the strange CO-INC-ID-ENCE, also notice that each time there is talk of the SHACH’s death, no-one can keep the year straight.

And so, to the last bit of information that turned up just yesterday, and that I find totally stunning, to be honest.

It comes from the Otzar Forum, in Hebrew, HERE, where I found a discussion of the following story, involving the SHACH, messianic expectations for 1648, and the same sort of ‘deal’ that I first heard about in connection with R’ Eliezer Berland, R’ Dov Kook, and the murdered Baba Elazar, back in 2016.

(If you have no idea what I’m talking about, go and read THIS first, entitled: The Deal: How three of our biggest Tzaddikim took it upon themselves to save Am Yisrael from the harshest Divine judgments.)

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

And I heard in the name of our teacher, the Gaon and Rabbi Isser Zalmen Meltzer, ztzl, that there is a continuation to the subject under discussion.

And that this is that after his conversations with the Sitra Achra, that was undertaken by the great kabbalist Rabbi Shimshon, ztzl, he asked a ‘dream question’ [i.e. a question to be answered via a dream from Heaven] that would reveal to him from shemayim what he should do, in order to rescue his people from the awful gezirut of 1648-9.

And so, he recieved an answer to his ‘dream question’, and was responded to thus:

“That if two of the Gedolei HaDor would agree to sacrifice themselves, and to return their souls to HaKadosh Baruch Hu before their time [in the aspect of ‘the death of tzaddikim atones’ – Tractate Yoma 42a; and see ‘Gur Aryeh’, Vayikra 17a, ‘After the death of the two sons of Aharon’….] it would cancel the gezirah.”

R’ Shimshon said to himself then, that he was prepared [to sacrifice himself – i.e. that he knew himself to be one of the Gedolei HaDor], and he approached the SHACH, [the second Gadol HaDor, of that time period], and asked him to be prepared to sacrifice his soul, and to pass away from the world before his time, in order to sweeten the gezirah.

And the SHACH responded to Rabbi Shimshon that he needed to think about the matter, and promised him an answer within two days.

When two days had passed, the SHACH said to R’ Shimshon, ztzl, that he was prepared to partner with him in this matter – but on condition that he would be given another three months of time.

And when R’ Shimshon asked the SHACH about the meaning of this – because each day, there was an increased quadruple curse [upon the nation?], of killings and murders and persecutions and waves [of violence] – (i.e. the decrees of 1648-9 were the most violent that the sons of his people ever suffered) – and why should we wait such a long time, in such a situation, when each day there were murdering hundreds more of our brethren, God should have mercy?!

The SHACH answered R’ Shimshon, and these were his words:

“I need another three months in order to finish writing my commentary, the Siftey Cohen – [the SHACH’s commentary on the Shulchan Aruch.]”

When three months had passed, the SHACH completed his commentary on the Shulchan Aruch, and R’Shimshon and the SHACH passed away from the world, and the decrees of 1648-9 were cancelled.

And the gaon and rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, ztl, asked how can we understand the behavior of the SHACH, that he gave evil another three months to murder and persecute…. and everything just in order for him to add to his writings a few more chiddushims and clarifications? This is a ‘SHACH’ that is very hard to understand!

The author of the ‘Even HaEzel’ (i.e. Isser Zalman Meltzer) continued with awesome words…..[that the SHACH reckoned that] the chances of Am Yisrael to come through the decrees of 1648-9 [were small], but without the [merit of the] commentary of the SHACH on the Shulchan Aruch, the decrees of 1648-9 would have been many times worse, than they were with the commentary of the SHACH.

There is a lot of discussion about this story, including a PDF of the source document for the story, on the Otzar forum HERE.

The ‘R’Shimshon’ in the story is Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropoli, who did die a martyr’s death in 1648.

For the purposes of this post, here’s a couple of things to point out:

  • The story can’t have happened as described, as the SHACH completed his commentary in 1646, and according to conventional history, he only passed away sometime between 1662-1664.
  • Isser Zalman Meltzer (1870-1953) was a big ‘religious zionist’; and his original surname was ‘Eisenstadt’, which suggests he could belong the SHACH’s wider family, descended from the SHACH’s sister via the known sabbateans Meir Eisenstadt and Mordechai ‘Mokiach’ Eisenstadt.
  • I.e. – this is a ‘family history’, intended to justify the SHACH’s lack of mesirut nefesh for Am Israel.

Back on the Otzar forum, we discover there are different versions of this story, including this one:

And by the way, it is accepted that before the riots of 1648-9, three tzaddikim  received a message from Heaven that if they would agree to pass away al Kiddush Hashem, then they would atone for the children of Israel.

And each of the tzaddikim would atone for a third of the nation of Israel.

And these were the three elders:

  • Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropoli,
  • Rabbi Natan of Nemirov, and
  • The SHACH – [Shabtai HaKohen]

Rabbi Shimshon and Rabbi Nathan accepted this upon themselves, and they were killed al kiddush Hashem.

And the Shach argued that he still needed to compose his essays, and indeed a third of all Israel were murdered al Kiddush Hashem [in the Chmielnicki massacres of 1648-9].

Hashem should avenge their blood.

For the purposes of this post, and my hypothesis that the SHACH = Shabtai Tzvi, this story provides a strong explanation, for why someone like the SHACH could have lost his mind to the point of ‘devolving’ into false messiah Shabtai Tzvi.

Imagine: you are told by one of the leading tzaddikim of the generation, that if you agree to die al kiddush Hashem, you will avert the looming harsh decrees, and personally save a third of the Jewish nation from horrible death and destruction.

And you refuse, because you’re an ambitious young man who first wants to get his Torah novellae ‘out there’ and known.

And then, you witness the horrible destruction that did indeed occur – the SHACH was a first-hand witness, and even wrote a historical account of the massacres that was published in 1651, in Amsterdam.

And then…. your conscience gives you no rest.

And all that suppressed anger at God for letting it happen, and suppressed guilt from not doing what you could have done to stop it yourself, literally overwhelms your psyche…

And even though you still have lucid, ‘holy’, pious and ascetic stretches of time, increasingly, you escape into ‘messianic madness’, where on some subconscious level you try to ‘force the coming of Moshiach’ – by proclaiming yourself a ‘Moshiach’ –  to rectify the situation, bring geula – and finally give your guilty conscience some rest.

Honestly, doesn’t this sound at least possible?

How did a ‘madman from Smyrna’ win over so very many big rabbis to his cause?

But if he was a rabbi with the stature and learning of the SHACH – who then went ‘mad’ after the destruction witnessed in and around Poland from 1648 onwards – doesn’t that explain a lot?

Doesn’t it make to easier to understand, how this ‘talmudic genius’ could create arguments for antinomian behavior and ‘tikkunim’ that could sway even the biggest kabbalists and most holy individuals?

And doesn’t it start to explain so many of the other ‘mysteries’ we have been dealing with here, including warped family trees, Sabbatean-Frankists specifically clustered, dafka, around our ‘biggest rabbis’ – and the overall horrible mess all parts of our Jewish world is currently in?

This is my hypothesis.

I am still working through a lot more information, including the other rabbis who were known Sabbateans within the Jewish community – and whose descendants have been wreaking havoc for the last 350 years.

These people are still in the positions of power, and that’s a big part of why all this ‘real Jewish history’ is still being actively suppressed and covered-up.

By the lies are falling, one by one.

Because you can’t keep the truth hidden forever.

In particular, I’m looking for the date of death given on this tombstone, but all information would be appreciated.
