Who wants a big mitzvah?
Like, a really big mitzvah?
Like, helping us to cover the costs of getting the next volume of One in a Generation out to the public?
It’s going to cost us around 20,000 shekels to get it properly edited, proofed, laid out nicely – and run past the lawyers, to make sure the book is watertight, legally.
Volume I explained who Rav Berland really is, and where he came from, and some of his holy practices. It also explained how respected he is amongst so many of the Jewish world’s real tzaddikim and rabbonim (you know, the really connected ones, whose every word is daas Torah and not just daas me.)
But Volume II is going to explain who was behind the awful persecution he endured over the last six years, which saw him exiled from Israel, hounded like a criminal, and ultimately framed and imprisoned for crimes he never committed in a million years.
So, it’s a big book.
And it’s a big mitzvah to be part of getting it out to the world.
If you’d like to be part of it, here’s some options for how you can do that:
If you’d like to specifically donate a page, or dedication, please go to the ‘Donate’ page on ravberland.com HERE, and pick your option:
$360 – for a full page
$180 – for half a page
$90 – for a quarter page
$36 – for a named dedication
Then, please include the text you’d like to have as your dedication in the book, plus a working email address so we can come back to you when we’re laying the book out, to check the dedication is worded correctly and is still saying what you want it to say.
You can also read more of the back story behind Volume II HERE.
Lastly, my co-writer went to double-check with the Rav himself, if he really wants us to be doing this right now, and got a really nice blessing from him, telling us no-one can touch us, and we should continue.
There are big things hanging on this book coming out as fast as possible.
It’s a really bit mitzvah.
And I’d be thrilled if you’d like to be a part of making it happen, BH.
