When I first got to Uman, pretty much no-one was wearing masks.

But then, Israel’s Orwellian health ministry started dictating to the Ukrainians that what was going on in Uman wasn’t ‘good enough’ to enable thousands of Jewish pilgrims to come for Rosh Hashana.

The argument went like this:

You need to turn Pushkina into a mini-masked police state, like we have in religious neighborhoods in Israel, and if you get the Breslovers to agree to that, then we’ll consider letting a few more chassidim out to pray in Uman this year.

And so, over the last few days, Pushkina has gradually turned into a police state – but only for Jews.

As soon as you leave the small area where the Jews are to be found, most of the masks disappear, and most of the ‘rules’ about COVID-1984 disappear, too.

====

Of course, there was never any intention to let more Jews come and daven in Uman for Rosh Hashana, at least, not for the Israeli government.

Just as they have made every effort to truly wreck the high holidays in Israel itself for its observant citizens, it has spared no expense or effort to wreck the kibbutz in Uman, too.

A big part of that was introducing the black metal ‘snake’ path in the tomb itself, which meant that none of the men could stand and pray, and they all had to shuffle along the ‘snake’ quickly reciting the tikkun haklali once before getting told to leave.

Let me tell you – that totally wrecked the energy and the atmosphere you usually get by the kever.

Even in the women’s section, we could immediately feel the difference. And of course, it didn’t help that any time someone was chutzpah enough to actually try to pray a shacharit, minchah or ma’ariv there, the Ukrainian ‘VIP Security’ guards would try to shut them down – and then call for back up from the Ukrainian police, if they couldn’t manage it.

That’s why a few days, a small group of people dismantled the ‘snake’.

And while they got a lot of official censure for doing that, I have to tell you that most of the people here agreed 100% with their actions, at least in theory. Because the ‘snake’ was swallowing all the kedusha.

====

But, the health ministry waved the ‘carrot’ of letting more Jews in if we all sat back and agreed to masks, and social distancing, and the ‘snake’ in the Kever – and all the other pointless COVID-1984 propaganda that’s been gushing out of the State of Israel – and so the snake came back.

This time, it was joined by industrial amounts of cling film, as Rabbenu was vacuum-packed into a number of tiny ‘cubicles’, which make totally no sense from a germ-prevention point of view, but since when was any of this really about public health?

At the same time, health ministry officials started popping up in local shops and in the local hotels, to bully the proprietors into wearing masks – and forcing their customers to do the same.

Instantly, the religious Jews of Uman developed visible ‘pariah’ status, as they walked around in bright blue surgical masks while the Ukrainians did not.

Very soon after that, signs started to appear in some local shops in Uman saying ‘Chassidim aren’t welcome’, while the local non-Jews also started to worry that the frum Israelis were disease-carriers after all, and started shunning us and eyeing us more suspiciously than usual.

====

====

So, the State of Israel’s plan to wreck Uman 5781 has been proceeding magnificently.

On the one hand, they barred thousands of Jews from getting here, including the unfortunate – but amazing! – Jews stuck in no-mans land between Belarus and Ukraine.

They were sleeping out in the cold for a 3rd night yesterday, and while the State of Israel is totally refusing to help – because it’s an anti-semitic regime that oppresses religious Jews – the Belarussian government has stepped into the breach.

As well as providing massive tents and access to the Red Cross and food from Uman, packaged by the Breslov philanthropist Eliezer Shiner, may God bless him, the Belarussians have offered to pay for buses to Uman, and to also pay for the pilgrims flight back home to Israel.

So far, the State of Israel still isn’t budging, and is demanding the pilgrims fly straight back to Israel from Belarus, while also engaging in a smear campaign to  make out like these brave people ‘deserve’ starvation and sleeping rough surrounded by armed Ukrainian soldiers.

I mean, if they were going to Crete for Rosh Hashana that would be something else!!! The fact that they were trying to get to Uman makes them totally hefker, irresponsible and bad. And the State of Israel is going to punish them for attempting to celebrate Rosh Hashana in any spiritually meaningful way!!!

====

So, there are currently just a couple of thousand Jews here in Uman, as opposed to the 50-60,000 that regularly come.

And at the same time, we have all the retarded COVID-1984 farcical rules, imported wholesale from Israel, to try to ‘kill’ the atmosphere here and scare people away from praying in the kever.

Take a look at what was going on in Uman this time last year, for Rosh Hashana 5780:

====

====

And now, this is the scene I photographed this morning in Pushkina, where there was about 3 scary looking Ukrainian police guards with truncheons, for every chassid on the street:

====

What a difference!

But here’s the good news.

(You know that good news always comes out from Uman, don’t you?)

If you check in Lesson 2:8 of Likutey Moharan, Rabbenu talks about a ‘serpent’ that eats all the good in the world, but then tries to ‘eat’ the True Tzaddik – and that is the ‘bone’ that gets stuck in its throat. And at that point, it’s then forced to regurgitate every last bit of good that it swallowed, from the beginning of time.

Rabbenu is the bone in the throat of that ‘snake’.

That selfsame lesson also talks about the importance of Rosh Hashana, and the awesome tikkunim that the True Tzaddik can achieve on Rosh Hashana.

That is the stage we are at.

The COVID-1984 ‘snake’ has wrapped itself around Rabbenu, mamash.

But when Rosh Hashana is ushered in, he’s going to utterly crush it into the ground.

And by Yom Kippur, things will look VERY different, especially in Israel.

====

So hang on, and keep praying for the chassidim stuck in Belarus, and on other borders to get here before Rosh Hashana.

All the mesirut nefesh to get here this year means each person is worth at least 100, if not a 1000.

Spiritually, we HAVE reached the 40,000 people required to crush COVID-1984 – there are at least that many people who wanted to come, and who were totally prevented to by the State of Israel.

But, its time is nearly up.

So ain shum yeoush be’olam klal.

After Rosh Hashana, the power of the snake will be totally broken.

Rav Arush is officially in Uman – he was in the kever yesterday.

I hope to write something later with an update on what’s happening with the poor Jews in Belarus.

This is becoming an international disgrace, that the Belarussion government is showing way more compassion to them than anyone in the State of Israel.

Hashem, how much more of this callous uncaring and cruelty can we take?!

And also, please remember the lesson taught by Rabbenu and the Baal Shem Tov (amongst others) that before Hashem delivers a harsh judgement upon a person, they are first shown the same circumstance by someone else, but it’s ‘dressed up’ in different clothes, to disguise the similarity.

This is what happened with David and Batsheva, when the Prophet Natan came before the king with a story of a rich man with a large flock who stole a poor man’s single sheep.

When King David judged that ‘rich man’ harshly – he signed his own fate.

And so it is with us.

====

The Jews who are stuck in the border with Ukraine could be any one of us.

The State of Israel changed the rules of travel on them mid-flight, then bribed and pressured Ukraine to keep them out of the country illegally.

Now, they are using media propaganda to paint the victims as being somehow ‘to blame’ for what the State of Israel did to them.

If you are reading this sitting in chul, be aware that the same exact thing could happen to you – and actually IS happening to a lot of people I know, who are trying to make aliya legitimately, only to find the State of Israel keeps changing the rules on them to bar them from entering the country.

They don’t want any more religious Jews here, didn’t you get the message yet?

So, are you going to judge those Breslevers in Belarus harshly?

And if yes, where will that leave you, if circumstances worsen in chul for Jews and one day you find YOURSELF stuck at some foreign border with non-Jewish soldiers patrolling, no food, no money, and no help whatsoever from the ‘Jewish State’?

====

And if you’re sitting there in Israel and judging them harshly, where is that going to leave you, when the ‘Jewish State’ sends its brownshirts in to your synagogues and schools and homes and businesses for ‘putting yourself in danger’ and ‘taking stupid and unnecessary risks’ just because of your ‘dumb beliefs’?

What are you going to say then, and how do you want God to help you out of your tough predicament?

====

What’s happening in Belarus is just a massive test, ahead of Rosh Hashana, yom hadin, and however we react to the plight of those Breslevers – either with compassion, concern and mercy, or with harsh judgment, blame and callous indifference – that’s how we ourselves will be judged.

So, think very carefully what sort of year YOU want next year, and act accordingly.

And remember, that saying nothing when your brother’s blood is being spilt is also considered to be an aveira, and an act of passive cruelty and uncaring.

Make no mistake about it, those Breslovers in Belarus are the canary in the coal mine.

If you care what happens to them, God will care what happens to you, in 5781.

And if not…

Then you have signed your own judgment, and you will have to live with the consequences.

And yes, I’m also talking to all those bloggers out there, who are studiously ignoring the plight of their fellow Jew, while making all their pious statements about ‘who is going to make it’ to geula, and how to really make teshuva…. (pass the puke bag.)

Let’s just say, I probably won’t have a lot to read online in a few weeks time, the way things are going.

====

And now, here’s the latest message about Moshiach being here in Eretz Yisrael, and just waiting to be revealed, from Rav Shalom Arush:

[This updated version has the message subtitles in English, from the breslev.co.il website, here.]

====

Rav Arush ends by saying the generation’s elders are telling him to spread the message that Jews should make aliya ASAP.

I know it’s hard, believe me.

I know all the tricks the State of Israel is using to stop people from coming.

But learn from the Breslovers, and DO IT ANYWAY.

The obstacles are just an illusion, that are hiding Hashem, and to increase the desire to come.

If you pray, and you act with mesirut nefesh, the gates will open, and this evil government will fall very soon.

Ken yiyeh ha ratzon.

After a week of sitting here feeling sorry for myself, today the mood finally ‘broke’ and I am fighting back.

[I wrote this article before I got a message – finally – that they’d actually figured out how my blog had been hacked, and fixed it. I had no idea I’d have my blog back and fully functioning when I wrote it, which is why this article also appears on the ravberland.com website, and the holyzowiecomics.com websites, too.)

====

In case you didn’t know, my blog got professionally hacked last week, just as Rabbenu’s tomb was being encased in a black metal ‘snake’ designed to prevent Jews from praying at it, and 2,000 religious Jews were being left to starve next to the side of the road on the border between Belarus and Ukraine.

And before you rush to blame those Jews for putting themselves into that situation, please be aware that they travelled into Belarus 2 and 3 weeks ago – before the State of Israel bribed Ukraine to close their borders.

====

What happened to those 2,000 Jews is what happened to us, in Kiev’s Zhuliany airport.

We also travelled out ahead of the Ukrainian border closure that was scheduled for Friday at 11.59pm, August 29, 2020 when it was still totally legal to enter Ukraine as a tourist. But then the Israeli authorities saw that literally thousands of Breslovers were scrambling to get to Uman ahead of the closure, so then they told the Ukrainians to bar entry to them illegally – 24 hours ahead of the border closure.

That’s why the Ukrainians were trying to get all the religious Jews to sign voluntary deportation orders at the airports and borders, because they were being detained illegally at that point.

And the person who requested that to happen was Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s Prime Minister.

When videos of Ukrainian soldiers beating up Breslov chassidim on planes started to flood social media, that’s when Ukraine’s PM, Vladimir Zelensky, gave an interview to the Jpost formally stating that the Ukrainians had acted at the request of the State of Israel, and specifically Netanyahu.

====

Me and my family were lucky.

Somehow, we got permission to leave the airport in Kiev 20 minutes before Shabbat – which was still at least 4 hours before the Ukrainian border was meant to be closed, legally.

In that time, we saw how all the secular-looking tourists – even from Israel – got let across into Ukraine. And we saw how even the religious-looking tourists from the UK who had a British passport and weren’t Israelis at all – got stopped.

All at the request of the State of Israel.

The 2,000 people stuck at the border with Belarus and Ukraine weren’t so lucky.

They’ve been stuck there for 2 ½ weeks – some of them for even longer – and now they’ve run out of money to stay in hotels, and also run out of food.

====

Before you say that the State of Israel should be helping them, let me remind you again that they are in that situation precisely because of the State of Israel’s actions, in the first place.

When we were stuck in Kiev’s Zhuliany airport, the Israeli Consul made it very clear to us that they couldn’t give a monkeys about helping us. It was our fault we were religious Jews, our fault that we were trying to get to Uman for Rosh Hashana, instead of flying out to Thessaloniki for Rosh Hashana, instead.

Before we continue, let’s pause for a moment to compare and contrast what’s going on with Greece and the Ukraine.

====

Israel is apparently a ‘red’ country when it comes to Coronavirus infections.

Ukraine is apparently also a ‘red’ country when it comes to Coronavirus infections – at least for Israel.

Greece, by contrast, is apparently a ‘green’ country for Coronavirus infections – again, just for Israel.

But here’s where it all gets ‘interesting’ again.

If you go to the State of Israel’s travel advisory website HERE, you’ll see that 216 countries are currently considered to be ‘green’ zones, including:

UK – population 66.6 million (yes, there’s that number again….) – COVID deaths: 41,637

Canada – population 38 million – COVID deaths: 9,179

Greece – population 10.7 million – COVID deaths: 310

====

Does it make sense that Ukraine, which has a population of 42 million, quite similar to Canada, and a COVID death count of 3,264 – a third of Canada’s – should be considered a ‘red’ zone by Israel?

Or that the UK, which has a way, way higher death rate per capita from COVID 1984 should be considered a ‘green’ zone by Israel?

Are you starting to understand that all these decisions shutting down travel are not based on facts, but on other nefarious factors that are only just now starting to swim into view for most of us?

====

But let’s take a closer look at Greece, a ‘green’ country for Israel with just 310 deaths from apparent COVID.

If you were Israel’s Coronavirus Tsar, which country would you be warning about letting in thousands of tourists from Israel over Rosh Hashana, that could infect your citizens with COVID 1984?

‘Red’ Ukraine, or ‘Green’ Greece?

Israel’s Coronavirus Tzar Ronnie Gamzu sent a letter to the Ukrainian authorities that can only be classified as anti-semitic propaganda, warning them that Israel’s religious Jews would spread COVID all across the country.

That was the ‘excuse’ the Ukrainians were given in order to justify shutting the borders to religious Jews coming to Uman for Rosh Hashana.

At the same time, the State of Israel worked so very hard to open up travel for Israelis to Greece, that airlines like Israir just announced they were doubling their flights due to the record numbers of secular Israelis wanting to travel their for Rosh Hashana, to escape Israel’s ‘High Holidays Lockdown’.

Why the double standard?

How does Israel’s Health Ministry know that secular Israelis aren’t carrying COVID-1984 to Green Greece’s hotels?

====

Let’s get back to what’s going on in Belarus.

Yesterday, hundreds of desperate Breslov chassidim – including small children – crossed the border of Belarus to enter the demilitarised zone between Belarus and Ukraine.

There, they were literally met with a wall of scary-looking armed Ukrainian guards with shields, who told them that unless they pay a bribe of $3,000 a person¸ they aren’t letting them through.

Most of these people simply don’t have that kind of money under any circumstances.

But do you see, that this is NOT about public health, it’s all about demonizing religious Jews, and the State of Israel trying to prevent Jews from celebrating Rosh Hashana and other religious observances any way they can?

What, when someone pays a bribe of $3,000, that means they are no longer a COVID-1984 risk?!?

====

====

Things have got so bad on the Ukrainian border, that now the Red Cross has shown up to distribute water and blankets to these Jewish refugees.

When I showed my daughter the pictures – which you can see for yourselves at the Uman Shalom site, with specific links at the end of this article – she said: It reminds me of what was happening in the Holocaust.

Maybe that was the last time that a bunch of Jews with payot who’d been abandoned by their country of birth found themselves camping out in front of armed guards in a Ukraine forest.

Except this time, the country that has abandoned them is the State of Israel.

 ====

Jews, it’s time to wake up and to start protesting what the State of Israel is doing to religious Jews, and orthodox Judaism all over the world!

The secular State is waging a war against religious Jews and orthodox Judaism both within its own borders, and across the world!

It’s not a Jewish State for Jews, it’s a political construct, a tool of the New World Order, that hasn’t hesitated to shut it’s doors to Jews from across the world during COVID-1984 – precisely when so many Jews felt a strong need to come home to Eretz Yisrael.

It’s precisely in a crisis like THIS, that the State of Israel promised all the Jews who have supported it morally and financially over the decades that it would act as a safe harbor for Jews, a place they could always call ‘home’ when they needed it.

====

The State of Israel lied.

It lied to countless thousands of Jews who don’t have Israeli citizenship, and who are being actively barred from making aliya as I write this, from countries all over the world.

And it lied to thousands of Jews who DO have Israeli citizenship, but who also have sidecurls and tzitzit, who it’s now abandoned in a virtual war zone in Belarus, after deliberately engineering the crisis in the first place.

And it’s time for the Jewish community to say enough is enough!!!

If the State of Israel doesn’t represent ALL of its citizens; if it doesn’t care about ALL of the Jews in the world; if it’s actively promoting anti-semitism against religious Jews across the world – then it’s time to pull the plug on the religious communities’ financial and moral support of the State of Israel.

====

A few months ago, Netanyahu personally flew to Russia to ‘rescue’ a young secular Israeli woman who’d been imprisoned for trafficking drugs.

What a big deal he made then, about how much the State of Israel was willing to ‘sacrifice’ to save its citizens from harsh fates abroad. If you read this article from Hamodia, it spells out how Netanyahu was apparently willing to give away a piece of the Old City of Jerusalem to secure Naama’s return:

Over the past several weeks, news of a deal between Israel and Russia for Naama’s release have been percolating, and on Wednesday, Channel 12 revealed what could be the basis for that rumor: On December 30th, Israel quietly transferred responsibility for a Russian institution in Yerushalayim’s Old City to the Russian government. The site, known as the Alexander Courtyard, contains, among other things, a Russian church.

And now?

When there are 4 year olds from Israel stuck in harsh Belarus with no food or shelter?

Where is the State of Israel’s vaunted commitment to its citizens?

Or does that promise only hold water if you don’t have payot, and you aren’t a religious Jew?

UPDATE:

In case you haven’t realised it yet, the MSM is full of a distorted, deceitful version of this story, pretending that all these guys ‘just showed up’ knowing they’d be barred entrance.

The MSM is also failing to inform readers about the bribes being asked for – $3000 a head – and how the State of Israel created this whole horrible situation, deliberately, when it pressured Ukraine to shut it’s borders illegally before the cut off deadline of August 29th, 2020.

So, what can you do?

Take to the comments section of every news site running stories about what’s going on, and tell the truth! Don’t be scared! Each person that speaks out now can mamash make a difference, and start to turn the tide of all the lies that have been told over the last few days, weeks, months, years and decades.

Here’s some sites for you to begin with – and let me tell you, the comment sections on all these sites are all being populated by people hired to make us, the public ‘think’ a certain way. Over the last few months, I’ve seen so many things change when real people start to fire back, and to speak up for truth in the comments sections of these sites. So go for it!

Here’s some to start with (click the link):

(Note how the Belarussian president is far more compassionate to these Jews than Netanyahu and Gantz, plus the Israeli embassy stuff, and most of the commentators on the Yeshiva World News and Jpost. May God have mercy on their souls.)
